Not nearly the same as when it first opened .... Wings were good lamb chops were just ok ... odd choice of mixed veggies squash tomatoes and green beans .... Drinks were great. They had a dj. Our server was very attentive but menu wasn't correct with daily specials. Bread pudding was delicious ...

The service was good...the drinks were good...the outside vibe was great. (The inside was a bit much for me.) The food was ok. I was advised the special was a seafood Alfredo and it was a wine sauce. It was edible, but not what I was expecting and a little bland. I wouldn't order that again. The other food looked good.

I haven't been in quite some time but my most recent visit reminded me how much I love the Avenue! Some friends wanted to meet up on a Monday for karaoke. Definitely not my jam, but I came along for support! Love the chill vibes! They do late night happy hour starting at 8 pm. Woot! The drinks were flowing and everyone had a great time. They were out of brussel sprouts that day. That just means I need to come back sooner than later.

We swung in after some errands and were able to be seated right away. Customer service was very good. We ordered the following: 2pc chicken and waffle: 9/10 very good. Big fan of the batter. Half and Henny: 7/10 Brussel sprouts: 7/10 need a sweet to contrast the salt Crispy catfish sandwich: 7/10 fried beautifully. Needed a little more seasoning. Side of eggs: 7/10 At the end we felt like everything was pretty good but could've been 3-4$ less than we paid.

I've tried their Crispy Brussel sprouts and had friends try their catfish fingers, Avenue burger, and their nachos. The food is good and cooked decent. I especially enjoyed the catfish, the interior design, and the Happy Hour music. Customer service is great! I'm not 100% sure about parking because I carpooled there but it seems parking can be tricky depending on the time of day. Overall I'd recommend!

So I've been to Avenue a couple of times and the food has always been great. The drinks are more of a hit or miss though. Margaritas are solid here. I've ordered other cocktails during past visited and they weren't well mixed. This visit, I had the Round em Up Mule and I really only tasted lime juice, barely any whiskey and no ginger beer. Food wise, I ordered the Brussel sprouts and the brisket breakfast burrito. Both were delicious! Service was great and our food came quickly. Also, certain nights, there's a dj there but this most recent visit, even though there was no dj, the music the restaurant was playing was fire. Definitely a solid option.

Inside the restaurant you have to walk down a steep ramp to check in. It appears very dark and divided. I can see the jazz club vibe. We opted to dine outside. The couches and crates were cute for open air seating and people watching. There was only one server and she did her best to be attentive to all three tables. I ordered the bbq wings and the brussel sprouts. The wings were excellent. I wish there was something more added to the brussel sprouts. A glaze or onion would have been a nice compliment. I did try a bite of my brothers bread pudding French toast which was truly the best bite. My other brother thoroughly enjoyed his chicken and waffles and quickly determined there was enough on the plate to take home for a second meal. I'm open to trying out more of the menu

Visited this popular spot to check out the Happy Hour Menu. Truffle fries needed to be brought back out due to them being regular fries, but definitely delivered on that turn around! Caesar salad dressing and Parmesan Cheese came plentiful for my salad and the fried chicken batter was seasoned perfectly! I ordered a Whiskey Ginger Mule I believe, and it was delicious, no complaints ever on the bartenders. All of them do superb jobs when it comes to the drink menu. Avenue is a tried and true spot where you know you'll get great service, good music, and always make a new friend @ the bar.

Very relaxed and welcoming restaurant with inviting decor. Walking in was great and our large party arrived early but was seated quickly. Drinks and food came out pretty quickly and both were tasty. I started with a strawberry lemonade crush and crab dip. The crush was perfect but the dip was a bit too creamy and need some old bay and hot sauce to improve the taste. My main dish was the fried chicken salad that was pretty big and the chicken was perfect. I enjoyed the avocado and eggs that made it very hearty. Service was a bit lagged and we had to find our server to then request her to come over for additional drinks and needed condiments. Everyone else enjoyed their meal and had leftovers to take home. Would come back because of the food and aesthetics.

We got here when it opened and were able to sit anywhere's . We had a pitcher of white sangria which was very good. We had chili wings for appetizer. The omelette was filled with perfectly cooked shrimp and crab meat. My wife had the shrimp and grits. The service was great. We were able to order our food right away. Our waiter was very pleasant and attended to our needs. Our entree came out as we finished our appetizers. Great background music. We would definitely come again.

Went here Saturday for brunch. I'll definitely be back!! The food was absolutely delicious, and with the beautiful weather, outdoor seating felt both comfortable and inviting. The staff was attentive from the moment we arrived, and we savored every minute of our bottomless mimosas. A perfect way to spend the weekend.

i went for brunch on a sunday. it is quite dark, especially during the day (in contrast to the outdoors). it was not busy when i arrived and the service was very fast and pleasant. i ordered the chicken and waffles and the home fries and spent about 40 bucks including tip. The chicken and waffles were really well cooked and tasty, but for the price point i would expect real maple syrup rather than the fake stuff. the home fries were seasoned well and complimented my sweet dish nicely. i would probably go back, but i would prefer somewhere with more bang for my buck.

However, the bartender, Vicki, refused to accommodate us at all, despite our willingness to wait our turn. Rather than acknowledging us or offering an estimated wait time, we were simply turned away. What made the experience particularly disappointing was not the wait itself, but the lack of professionalism and hospitality. We were treated as though our business was not welcome, which is not the level of customer service I would expect from a hotel of this standard. As paying guests, we expected to be treated with courtesy and respect. If the bar was temporarily unable to serve additional customers, a polite explanation or request to wait would have been completely understandable. Instead, the bartender's, Vicki, refusal to accommodate us left us feeling unwelcome and frustrated. While I thoroughly enjoyed my hotel stay, this definitely put an off putting taste in my mouth toward customer service standards. I hope this matter will be reviewed so that future guests receive a more professional and courteous experience. Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback.

Yesterday I realized a mistake on my bank account from the bar charge, so I called around 6 pm and spoke to the same gentlemen as before. He got all my info and promised he'd call back in 5 minutes.
