The staff is always helpful, pleasant, and impressively knowledgeable about the ever-evolving selection of furniture and home decor accessories. Whether I'm looking for a statement piece or something subtle to tie a space together, they never steer me wrong. The owner, Darlene, is simply outstanding. Her eye for curating a mix of high-end consignment, antiques, new pieces, and original artwork makes every visit feel like a treasure hunt. No two trips are ever the same! The absolute best selection of stylish, unique home accents and furniture in pristine condition at great prices! Very high quality, couture, one of a kind finds. We have purchased a gorgeous Roche Bobois couch, a very distinctive coffee table, and a one of a kind silver book case. There is a fabulous nook filled with Asian treasures---I even purchased a lovely fresh water pearl necklace and luxurious silk throw pillow. The staff is so helpful and always willing to go the extra mile regarding customer service. My fiancé and I just love to stop by to visit, explore the vast inventory and chat with Darlene. She is such a gracious, sophisticated consignment expert whose design savvy and customer service is unequaled. Popped into Avery Lane today..about 3 minutes before they were closing! They welcomed me in and told me to take my time..I have never written a review before but felt I had to write Darlene was so sweet and so helpful! There was a table I wanted and I asked her if they barter at all and she said it just depends how long they have had it..to make along story short I got a Habersham table for $200....It was marked 775.00!! YEAH me! I love the table and she has the cutest little dog "Ringo" I would have liked to purchase him as well!! ha! Avery Lane is a delightful business in every sense. The showroom is immaculate. The proprietor (Darlene Richert) and every member of her staff treat customers with kindness and respect, but are not overbearing. I have both purchased restored antiques from Avery Lane and had Darlene market items I could not bring with me on a move this summer to Santa Barbara. She is a dynamic, fun person with contacts in the real estate and décor industry who respect her sense of style. I absolutely adore Avery Lane and visit when I'm in Scottsdale. The selection is truly one-of-a-kind and I usually find something that I just can't live without. The sales gals are very helpful. When I was re-decorating my home, I showed them a few photos of the spaces I was trying to re-work. They took the time and effort to take me around the store and suggested pieces that would look good. The prices seem reasonable for the quality. Customer Experience at Avery Lane Disappointing and Disrespectful Service During my recent visit to Avery Lane, I was met with a lack of courtesy that left a lasting negative impression. Upon entering the store, no one acknowledged my presence or offered a greeting. After waiting for two minutes, I observed the same female sales associate warmly welcome another customer who entered after me. I have consigned a large sectional, ottoman, chair and ottoman etc. The owner was very pleasant to deal with and my items were displayed the next day. I was provided with a contract with very fair terms and found my items to be priced fairly. Avery Lane has much higher end quality of furnishings than you typically find in other consignment stores. You get what you pay for. If you want cheap furniture go elsewhere. This is a high quality, unique one of a kind type of consignment store that caters to people with discriminating taste. read more

Darlene the owner is choosey as to what kinds of items are offered for sale and her staff are wonderful to work with. Jamie has assisted us several times and recently Billy as well. It's a really nice place with really nice stuff. There were some very good values there, and then some other stuff seemed a bit expensive. But it was all like new. If you want cheap, there is always Goodwill. But, if you want new at a fair price, this place is great. I was'n't a buyer tonight, but it's a very well run place with the best stuff for sale. Unfortunately I found myself in sad little town in a place called Arizona. Needed to purchase house warming gift immediately "floor sample" for my beloved nephew Patrick. All appeared so old and I think dated, more like donation center. Rude girl would assist, quite saddened by experience. Not such accustomed by places with this behavior. read more
