If you own a Subaru, don't take it to these guys! They forgot to remove the secondary restrictor pill (while installing my down pipe), and didn't use the right size gasket when connecting it to the mid-pipe (which left me with an exhaust leak)! They should stick to U-haul only! read more

I had ordered a ball hitch on Amazon for an RV trip, but too late, was notified it was backordered. I needed it for the trip that coming weekend in 3 days. I went to Avery Muffler to see if they had one. The lady at the counter was very helpful and said they would have the one I wanted coming in 2 days later. Worked for me, but also meant a 60 mile round trip. I was on my way to leave and Dave, the owner stopped me and asked if I had been helped. I said yes, told him what I was looking for, he said to wait a bit, and he came back with a used ball hitch, exactly what I was looking for at 1/2 the price. I purchased a complete muffler system, and, exhaust manifold/gaskets for my Y.J. I went in to see about installation only. It's a freshly rebuilt, super clean 4cyl. so their is plenty of room under the bonnet. They quoted me $400 to install, Cory said he figured in 4 hours to r & r. I waited in the lobby over 5 hours. Cory said he didn't think it would take that long. So.......without asking he tacked on another $50 bucks. Now I would have paid it anyway....and have spent another couple grand on my Jeep...but it's not coming their way...sorry ya' all' did that...it's not cool guys :( read more

I made an appointment to check a problem that I thought I had with the 5th wheel trailer brake controller on a truck that I recently bought. The very nice lady on the phone was helpful and extremely professional. I arrived for my appointment and, after Cory checked the braking system, he concluded that my recently purchased trailer had a corroded plug (the trailer wasn't even there). He easily could have sold me a new controler, but he is obviously a very honest and knowledgeable business man. I went back to my trailer and found the problem just as he described that I would, thanks to his advice. I'm new to Sonora and Cory definitely has earned my future business. Took my 03 explorer in to have the catalytic converters replaced. $1200 later we picked it up, drove it for and hoir and check engine light came on. Took it back, and the fiddled with it for a few mins then determined it was a bad O2 sensor. I had just replaced all sensors a year prior, anyways we were told they were too busy to deal with anytime soon. I took it to Rods auto and they put it up in the air and five mins later said 1 of the sensors wasnt plugged in. Another $80 to fix what shouldnt have happened in the first place. Averys had left the job incomplete took my money then said good luck. If ya wanna take ur chances dont say ya wasnt warned. read more

I used this location for thier UHaul truck rental and I can't say enough about the professional, friendly and helpful service that allowed a last minute truck rental to be completed. I was able to reserve a truck, pick it up and check out all within an hour .. the actual time in the office was efficient and quick. returning the truck after hours was super easy and I will for sure be using this location again. read more

Honestly id rather give them no stars but I have to at least give them one to write this review. Avery muffler on the automotive side probably isn't that bad. But the uhaul rental has by far the worst service I've even had to deal with. Moving is stressful enough but for them to double book a truck says it all. If you're looking into renting from these people good luck. I'd rather hitch hike with all of my belongings than rent from these people. Not to mention they're over all gross/dirty store. Last but not least the woman working the store front.... Is a complete jerk. read more
