The older timers who do the machine work are great, however they have some employees who work the counter that are just awful, they treat you as if you are putting them out by coming in to spend your money there. As customer facing employees it is your responsibility to treat customers with respect and courtesy, they need your help to figure out what parts they need, customers are not professional mechanics and should not be belittled for not being so. As a former small business owner I know how hard it is to find good help, but as a business owner it's your responsibility to monitor your employees, many times when an employee has worked a job for too long they become bitter and unpleasant with customers because they are unhappy, when this happens it is time to insist that they change their attitudes or move on. The employee who is allowed to have a bad attitude and treat customers poorly is not doing you any favors, just costing you customers. Whoever owns or manages this store.. It's time to wake up! I was surprised he didn't do installs anymore (semi-retired, simplified his life!) but supplied just the parts actually; a blessing. Told me if I ran into trouble to just give him a call and he'd walk me thru it on the pone. True. A friend and I knocked it out in half a day and I finished with a beer. A good day.
