I had a very disappointing experience with an attendant at your location on Sunday, May 24, 2026. When I arrived, the attendant was helping another customer who did not want the vehicle offered to her due to a smoke smell that aggravated her asthma. He then offered her an electric vehicle, but she did not feel comfortable accepting it. I waited patiently for approximately 15 minutes while this situation was being discussed. After waiting, I politely asked, "Can I return my car?" because I realized the intermediate/compact vehicle I was returning could potentially solve the issue for the customer he was assisting. Instead of responding professionally, the attendant became dismissive and rude, replying with attitude, "Why didn't you just say that?" I explained that he had not asked why I was there and that I was simply trying to help, since my returned vehicle may have fit the customer's needs. Rather than acknowledging this, he abruptly grabbed the keys from my hand and continued acting dismissively. What made the interaction especially frustrating is that I had even returned the vehicle hours earlier than scheduled. A simple proactive question to waiting customers about whether they were picking up or returning vehicles could have helped the situation significantly and improved the experience for everyone involved. While I understand customer service environments can be stressful, professionalism and respectful communication should still be maintained. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so future customers are treated with more courtesy and consideration. read more

I reserved a car online at night, then they call me at 7am to let me know that because I booked overnight they no longer have that car available. Doesn't make sense why their website shows all these cars are available and then last minute they aren't anymore, even if you reserve it and pay for insurance. Overall bad experience I don't think I would rent a car with this company ever again . read more

Our experience w/this Avis/Budget was a failure. We arrived for the large SUV we booked to find out it was not there. They even tried to downgrade us to a medium SUV and even a passenger van, lol. After wasting about 40 minutes, they then suggested we go to Love Field. Good thing we called ahead b/c Love Field had no availability (and saved another wasted trip to the airport). WARNING...WARNING...WARNING!!! Watch out for these guys! They will charge you additional fees for existing damage to the car they rent to you. In my case they gave me the rattiest rental car I've ever had. Not only did it have 40,000 miles on the odometer but the steering wheel was flaking off and sticky and the passenger seat was visibly stained. It jerked to the right when I accelerated on the highway. I kept that junker for a week before finally taking it back and requesting a car in better condition. They thoroughly examined the car I returned and made me go vacuum out some dog hair left over from when I took my pet to the vet. They said they would charge me a cleaning fee if I didn't clean myself which I did. Once I vacuumed the car they took it back without any other problems and gave me a new ride. They never mentioned anything about the existing stain on the passenger seat. Fast forward to a month later. I was unhappy with several of the final invoices on the cars I rented. They were higher than the prices quoted when I reserved the cars online. I noted that in a survey and within a week I received a note out of the blue saying that the car's passenger seat was stained. Pretty sketchy timing if you ask me. Supposedly it was so bad that they supposedly had to take the vehicle out of service for two days to be cleaned. But mysteriously, although the (pre-existing) car seat stain was never noticed or mentioned when I had returned the car a month earlier. I called their customer service line and was pretty much told that I had supposedly caused the car seat stain and to get lost. I've already disputed the $125 cleaning fee with my credit card. I also filed a complaint with the Dallas office of the Better Business Bureau. My next step is to call one of the local consumer affairs TV reporters. If necessary, I'll take the matter to Small Claims Court. It's only $125 but the simple fact of the matter is that I don't like being cheated. In the meantime, I would highly recommend that you avoid renting any kind of vehicle from this Budget location. Read all the other "1 Star" reviews and you'll see that I'm not the only one to have issues with this location. read more

This time, they sent me to Love Field to pick-up my pre-paid vehicle, and I had to stand in line for almost an hour. Altogether, this made me almost 2 hours late to my appointment. read more

They wouldn't help me secure another car, but instead told me to call customer service. Customer service told me it was the location's problem. I said I had a car reserved today by Avis - called and set it up via their main line - and the owner says to me "I don't have a car. I don't have that car. Sorry!" I show him my reservations and he tells me again "I don't have a car, you should've called me." Are you serious? Clearly their systems, or this seemingly SHADY owner's, aren't synced. My husband and I needed a 7 passenger vehicle to bring our kids home from KY. We originally had "reservations" with Enterprise where a reservation means NOTHING! I called Avis literally the morning we were suppose to leave praying they had something available but didn't have my hopes up, not only did they help us but the customer service was great! I wish I had checked with yelp coming to this Avis location. When we picked the car up we told the guy behind the counter there was a check engine light on. He said it was fine. Against our better judgement we took the car and ended up broken down on the side of a major highway with no help from roadside assistance. We had the car towed to the closest town, put 2 quarts of oil in the car and drove it to the nearest airport to get a replacement car since we didn't trust this one. When we returned the car and complained about the car and being broken down in the middle of nowhere we were just told roadside assistance should have come. I agree, they should have but didn't. Then we were charged $150 because the car was dusty on the inside. I've never been charged a cleaning fee at a car rental place. Horrible customer service read more

I rented a car from them online on 07/13/20 to take a trip to Colorado to get my sick son. I picked the car different than what I ordered on 07/15/2020 and the money had already been taken from my account. I returned the car on 07/15/2020 as planned. No issues. Then another 215.03 appeared on my account on 07/21/2020. I called on 07/23 to get this corrected, they asked me to call the Corporate CS line, I did so. They said it would be back in my account by 07/31. It was not, I Waited until 08/04 to call my bank and now they are having trouble getting it credited to my account. I do not recommend this company to anyone. I used them due to my AARP discount. I'm still waiting for a resolution. read more

Do not go to this rent-a-car. We reserved a car here for 4pm 2 weeks ago, when we got there, it wasn't there. When asked about the other cars' mpg, w/c they offered us, they gave us the wrong information. I was driving so I couldn't get the information myself. They didn't know what time the car we reserved was coming back. When I talked to the owner, I was already upset because our plans were going to get derailed. He claimed that he doesn't know mileage information for his cars w/c I found ridiculous considering his line of business. When we decided to get the other cars he offered, they were already taken. He never bothered to apologize & made it seem our fault for not getting them earlier, even though the original car we reserved wasn't there. So we had to wait again. I travel frequently and frequently rent from Avis . I have experience with Avis company-owned and franchised-owned stations. I have to say, the folks a this Avis station are some of the nicest I have every worked with. I needed a rental while my car was in the shop for hail damage repair. The rental would be paid by my insurance company. The Avis staff take care of setting up the direct billing set up. OK, that is expected. Before my insurance company would approve the rental, they told Avis to tell me they wanted proof that my car was really in the shop, what shop the car was in, and how long would the car be in the shop. The Avis staff called me for the shop name and phone number. They then called the sop and got all the information the insurance company was asking for and worked with my insurance company to get everything set up. I didn't have to do anything else. The Avis staff went past what I expected them to do. The allowed rental reimbursement from my insurance company is minimal and would barely cover the cost of the dumpiest and smallest rental car from any rental car company. Again, this station worked with me and gave me a clean new car that far exceeded what I expected to get for the amount the insurance company was willing to pay. I really appreciate the great customer services I received a this Avis station. I wish they were all as good as these folks. read more

The owner of this rental agency instructed me to park my vehicle in a lot across the street while i was out of town with the rental car. When i returned the rental car, i learned my car was towed from the lot i was instructed to park in. The owner made no attempt to contact me to notify me my vehicle was towed and then refused to accept responsibility even though she agreed she instructed me to park there. The owner tried to blame "Corporate" and the lot owner (i assumed she owned the lot) but wouldn't pay anything toward the cost to recover the vehicle. Cost me $565 to get my car back from the towing company. Then, the rental agency would not accept my prepaid card as payment, even though they accept this form of payment. I normally rent from the Rockwall, TX location but found that it was cheaper here. Well as they say you pay for what you get im guessing. I reserved my vehicle with no mention that it would be unavailable if I came at the reserved time. George whom I called at 7:43a.m 7/2/19 was very rude and unprofessional. When i asked him to repeat what I didn't here he states "Like I told you." "Stated that if he have 15 people in front of me he isn't concerned with saving the car I reserved regardless of a reservation." Of course I expressed frustration and he continued to add fuel to my concern. This company doesn't value its customers. Thankfully I choose to call Avis to confirm my reservation before actually cancelling the one I had with another company. I hope the owner is paying attention. We booked a reservation here via Hotwire.com and had the easiest experience I've ever had at a car rental place. No lines. We got to pick out our car (it was brand new and very clean with no odors), looked it over with an employee, signed the paperwork and were out in 10-15minutes. You have to return the car in the same condition you received it upon returning. Luckily the car rental is right next to a Wave Wash and QT. For $4.99 we got the car washed with free vacuuming. Filled up the tank. Returning it took 5minutes. We will definitely visit here for our next rental. read more

DO NOT rent from here! I reserved a minivan weeks in advance for a trip my family had planned for Spring Break. I went to pick up the van at my scheduled time with my confirmation and was told there were no vehicles. I panicked; my whole planned trip was riding on this vehicle. Frustrated and confused, I pleaded with the owner. He told me, "see all of those people behind you?", pointing to the people seated in the lobby. "They're in the same boat you are." Was that supposed to make it better?!? That just proves how unorganized and unprofessional this establishment is. Eager to get me out, he gave me his business card and sent me to a Love Field Airport location. He told me they had vehicles, to show them his business card and they would give me a 30% discount. When I showed up at Love Field, they had no idea who the person on this business card was. Not only did they NOT give me a 30% discount, they told me their rates were WAY higher booking the day of. Desperate and defeated, I had no other option. I have never had a rental company do this to me and they did it to customer after customer. He sent all of us to the Love Field location and we all stood in the same line and just wished we had rented from Love Field in the first place. It's a little further, but it has way more vehicle options, more employees, and way better customer service. Don't waste your time and money here. read more

Previously this location had an excellent selection of vehicles and a friendly staff. Now, customer service is extremely poor and vehicle selection quite limited. The owner is completely unprofessional, disrespectful and rents vehicles without doing the required safety checks. I rented a car recently, this would be our second rental. Our first rental our tire popped. Which we had to replace and were never reimbursed, like they said they would. However this recent rental was worse than the last. There are certain requirements that car rental must meet, by Law, before renting a car. They must be below a certain mileage, and they must have a proper safety check, including checking the tread of the tires and windshield wipers. We were driving through tropical storm Bonnie when we realized our tires has poor grip. When we reached Nashville it was worse! We couldn't see and we almost hit by a big truck because our tires were just spinning. The owner said there was nothing he could do unless we got into a car wreck. When I brought up the law he said he is only responsible to look at the outside of the tires, which even then he could see the tread was low. He then proceeded to tell me to shut up like I was a child. I told him no because this is unsafe and you're implying that we'd have to be laid up in a hospital to make this right. Not only did we bring him back a better car than he rented us because we switched it in Nashville, this bastard only wanted to give us $70 discount, in what could have cost us our lives on the road. When I mentioned calling corporate to tell them about this location, he cussed at me again saying if you call corporate that he'd only give me $20 off. We made a reservation online, received confirmation of said reservation, arrived at the arranged time, and were only then informed that this location simply had no cars available, making the reservation process completely pointless. The employees at this location offered no help outside an 800 number, which was unnecessarily complicated to navigate through. Once we finally spoke to a representative, we were informed that he "couldn't make a car appear", a highly unprofessional comment to make to a distressed customer, and then all he could offer was to transfer our reservation to another location, half an hour away. On our way to that location, thank goodness we called again, we were informed that the new location did NOT, in fact, have any cars available either. It is incredibly unlikely we will ever use this location, or Avis Car Rental, again. read more

The store employees move in slow motion. It should not take 20 mins to return a vehicle. Based on the lack of customer service I received today, I will not be returning. I have never returned a rental vehicle and the employee had to drive the vehicle around the parking lot and stop in the service garage on his way walking back before printing a receipt. Who does that? Obviously, someone who is not respectful of my time. Note: There was no damage to the vehicle. We rented a 2013 Ford Focus from this Avis location to go out of town. On our way back the vehicle showed us to have 19 miles left of fuel when we ran out of gas 1.4 miles away from the gas station. 1:30 a.m. on I-10 it was not a good experience. Cost us $60 for someone to bring us $10 worth of gas. When I returned the car I asked if I could be compensated in some way sense it was not our fault. The car said we still could go 19 miles when it shut off. As I figured the guy at the desk did not believe us and was no help at all. I even offered to rent the car again and run the car down to 19 miles if he would reimburse us after I proved my point. Was pointless in talking to him. We rent a car every 4-6 weeks to go out of town and this is the thanks we get. Ill be more the happy to take my business elsewhere. read more

Be aware! Do not rent a Budget truck from this location. I made my reservation with credit card 24 hours in advance. When my wife and I arrived I was told they did not have a truck for me. My rental was supposed to be at 9:30 am, yet they told me that the earliest truck would be available after 11:00 am. The representative then informed me that a truck was available (there were plenty of trucks on the lot) but it did not have a hand truck dolly, I told me that I would take the truck w/o the dolly. When I declined the insurance, the rep gave me a long form to complete. I told the rep that I had rented Budget trucks before and never had to complete a long form. I sent my wife to my car to get our insurance information since the Budget form was asking questions such as: insurance provider with policy number, weight limitations, maximum liabilities, whether it covered truck rentals, etc, etc. As I started to fill out the form, another rep said something to my rep, and my rep said my truck would not be available until after 11:00 am. I asked what about the truck w/o the dolly. The rep said it too was not available until after 11:00 am. I informed him that this was a bunch of B.S. The other rep started yelling at me to be respectful to his employee. I asked this person to lower his voice that he was being very rude. He said he was the owner and for me to leave his store. I grabbed the form I was filling out and started towards the door. I noticed I had their pen so I turned and tossed it to the counter. I left the establishment, and met my wife who was coming back with our insurance information. I was telling her what had transpired, when the "owner" came out and continued yelling at me. His parting words were F.U.! We got into our car and called Budget Customer Care. The lady who answered our call was very professional, apologized and cancelled our reservation. She promptly send me an email with the cancellation information. We went to the U-Haul location a mile away, and were treated professionally and courteously and did not have to complete any long detailed form for declining the insurance. So be aware! The personnel at Budget Truck at this location are very rude, unprofessional and very disrespectful to their customers. The owner needs anger management and customer service training. I'm giving Avis three stars. Only because of the ordeal we went thru. I wanted to rent a vehicle from Dallas Lovefield Airport. The agent Alex was super nice and informed me because I didn't have major credit card and I had only a debit card that I couldn't rent from the airport. He researched their data base and found an Avis rental place that did accept debit cards. He was super friendly; I prepaid for the rental and receive my confirmation number. The day of pick-up went to the Avis location to find out that they do a credit report if you renting a vehicle using a debit card. I have one delinquent account with Sprint that I am disputing, however because of that , I was denied. No one ever told that they would a credit check. Had it not been for Luis, the agent at the location. He saved day. He is an excellent employee. He came up with another option, even though the Avis customer service couldn't or wouldn't help us out. Long story short if you're using a debit card, they will run a credit check. read more

They were going to charge me $150 fee for 'excessive dirt'! I rented a car to drive from Dallas to Big Bend with my 4-year old son and my dad. Great trip, beautiful part of the country, but involved a LOT of driving. Needless to say, between hiking in the desert and spending between 2 and 8 hours a day in the car, we got dirt and food crumbs in the car. I cannot deny, it NEEDED to be vacuumed. However, vacuuming and a little wipe down of the dash (seriously, it wasn't even dusty) was all that was needed to properly and completely clean the car. I know the low level of effort required for a fact because when I tried to drop the car off with Budget, I was informed I needed to clean it myself or I would have to pay them $150 dollars to clean it. Fortunately, I was in the position (sort of, as I was actually supposed to be at work) that I had time to take my dad to the airport, come back to the rental office, pick up the car, and take it to a car wash where I observed one guy who spent 15 minutes vacuuming and another guy spent about 5 minutes wiping down the dash, console, and windows. Budget was going to charge me $150 for 20 minutes of work! Furthermore, they reserve the 'right' to charge you up to $250 for anything they determine is excessive dirt up to 24 hours after you leave the car, at which point you have no recourse! What if you have to rush to catch a flight and can't clean it before you drop it off? Seems to me, shelling out $50/day to rent a car should net you a little customer service with the vacuum. I also fail to see how dirt, whether mud or food crumbs, that is easily vacuumed is considered 'excessive'. Surely, they're vacuuming these cars before the next person takes it, anyway? I suspect not. Also, I think it is downright criminal to charge $150 for 20 minutes of work. Insulting, really. They kept telling me how they were doing me a favor by letting me go clean the car myself! Seems like a sham so they show up on search engines as the lowest cost, but still get $150 - $250 out of you in the end. read more

In the rush to get to this location, we called and said that we were on the way- literally would be there within minutes from the 6:00 closing time- and when we got there a few minutes before 6:00, the manager was already outside and he would NOT give us the rental. i Rented a truck from avis for $67 a day. I returned it a few minutes after the 24 hour mark - less than 30. upon doing so, I waited a few minutes for the attendant to scan me in, hand me a slip of paper and tell me "you're all set." NEVER ONCE DID SHE TELL ME THEY WERE DOUBLING MY CHARGES BECAUSE IT SHOWED I WAS A MEASLY 30 MINUTES OVER. In reality, it was closer to 25, as I waited for the attendant to take her time before coming over to my vehicle, scanning it and ultimately screwing me, while smiling nicely, without telling me any of this was going on. This company is a joke and you should only rent from them if you want to be screwed. Their corp office doesn't care and was standoffish when I politely brought this issue to their attention. I guess the collection of all stars in their management team has never hearD of customer lifetime value. I'll be disputing this charge and never using this shameful company again. I guess they'd prefer to gip their customers for an extra $60 instead of having customers for life. What a joke - DON'T BUY HERE - YOU WILL GET BURNED BADLY LIKE ME. I called and emailed AVIS corporate. Everado emailed me a few times and gave me a twenty dollar credit. Awful. He should've just gauged me for more money. "I landed at the Airport 1 hour before I needed to rent a car from Budget. I had to wait for a shuttle to take us to the Car Rental place in which I was able to get on the third bus since there was a massive line. By the time I got to the Budget place, there were a few customers there with lights turned off. Customers had formed a line but we did not know what was going on. We waited there for about 15 minutes until another customer called Budget and they were told to go to Avis. We all went to Avis and the lady behind the counter told me that she forgot to put the sign up for us to go to Avis when she closed Budget. She saw us all standing in line at Budget with the lights out and she couldn't even come over to tell us. They didn't even come out to inspect the vehicle and the next morning I noticed a small rusted dent above the drivers side door. I just think it was very unorganized. Very frustrating to have to wait like that. I will think twice before I use Budget again. read more
