But it was clean and low mileage and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I had to drive down to West Palm Beach for work, and the car ran perfectly. I decided to come back early, and I dropped the car off after hours, which is always easy and they have a key drop off. And the best part is that they call me when they check the car back in and let me know that everything is okay- now THAT'S service! Enterprise Apopka is always a great choice and very convenient!

The manager and comanager are married and when we picked up our rental the comanager extended (VERBALLY) our return time the next day by 7 hours as a courtesy for it taking 45-minutes to initially get our vehicle. When we returned our vehicle at the new time, they said it was never documented and we might as well pay it because if we call corporate, they will back them and we won't get anywhere. True to their words corporate says because it wasn't documented we could not get the overcharges reversed. The manager Edgar and his wife were both called while I was there by the nice staff on hand and Edgar said his wife, the comanager, would never give us that extension so we are wrong. I am a Presidential Level AVIS customer and spend 3K -4K per month on AVIS rentals- NO LONGER. I will be contacting AVIS Corporate asap but not expecting any better results. STAY AWAY FROM AVIS/BUDGET APOPKA. Seems this staff run a racket to get extra fees so they can get bonuses or make their branch look better. Horrible fraudulent customer service is what they offer.

After waiting for 5 minutes for someone to show up to the desk, he looked at our paper like we were lying about the price we were given. He must have thought we wrote those prices down. He said he can't beat that price, we thanked him and went back to Enterprise. He didn't seem to care. I would suggest some better customer service training for this guy. And possibly a chest hair grooming kit.

I have rented probably at least 40 cars from here in the last four years. I never once had an…read moreissue until this past Friday when they gave me a vehicle that clearly was not in good shape. I have video proof of the way it sounded. I didn't want to drive it Friday night for fear of what might be going on with it. I called the Hertz customer service line and they told me to either keep it or drive Saturday to the closet open Hertz...which was and hour and half away with traffic. They said the best I could do is stop at every single Hertz on the way out there to see if any were open. I found one open (it was a Saturday.) They didn't have anything and sent me backwards to a previous one I had already stopped at. Guy said the manager was there and would open the door for me. Cool. Nobody told me there was a $25.00 exchange charge for a bum vehicle they gave me for starters. Thennnn, I didn't drive the vehicle Friday night for fear of making it worse. Thennnn, Saturday I'm driving (with some of the worst anxiety I have ever had!) looking for an open Hertz. And they couldn't comp me a day for my troubles?? I missed out on appointments I had scheduled specifically during the time I had rented a vehicle because I don't have a car. One of the worst experiences of my life and not a single soul from Hertz cared. I miss when Jamal was over here because he would have never let me deal with that. I guess I have to cancel my next reservation and go back to Enterprise. Sucks because I had a good thing at Hertz for a good while.
