Despite having 2 emails verifying the rental, one at 4pm prior day, and another at midnight. Had to walk to Enterprise who actually had customer service saved the day. Our flight was delayed, and we called Budget multiple times while traveling to notify them. Despite this, the employee still left and closed the counter, leaving us stranded at the airport with our young children in the middle of the night. We then spent three hours trying to get help on the phone. One representative told us to go pick up a car in Miami or Fort Lauderdale (200+ miles away). Another told us we should have notified them of a flight delay 24 hours in advance... which is obviously impossible. When the next shift employee arrived at 5 AM, he told us he couldn't help us until 6 AM, even though we had already been waiting for hours. Completely unacceptable customer service. Budget left a family with small children stranded overnight at the airport despite multiple calls notifying them of the delay. Rent somewhere else.
