AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE DONT GO! we rented a car and just had to pick it up before they closed at 6pm after we left work. we were stuck in traffic and called 2 times to make sure theyd be there at 6. They said they would but wouldnt stay a minute longer( already bad service, and rude on phone) and then when we arrived right at 6pm, the doors were already locked and the employee was in his car to leave, clearly not waitiing until 6, he saw us and sped off in to a curb just to avoud us. They lied multiple times and then left work early. To top it off he fled his job instead of helping a customer. just awful human behavior. dont go. read more

Absolutely horrible, please read in advance before "booking" a rental. We're on vacation and reserved a convertible for the week. Huge mistake doing it online. A few days go by and we get a phone call saying it's no longer available. I'm sorry how is a car that we were able to reserve no longer available? Would it have not been on the website if it wasn't available? Are they giving away cars that have already been reserved? No answers. Whats even worse is that they called DAY OF VACATION. Instead of enjoying a peaceful vacation we are now trying to scramble for the car that we wanted. No help from the employees at all, book at your own risk. read more

I reserved online cargo van from this address 2804 S Eads st Arlington, VA 22202 on DEC 30, 2024 at 10: 30AM, when I show up I handed my driver license and my DEBIT card for payment, the agent said that he need a credit card for payment, i said i don't use credit card , then he said sorry we can't rent you the van .... then after a few hours they call me and said are you still need the van. I said no because you don't want to rent it for me and now i already went to U-HAUL and rent a van . in conclusion this CREDIT card doesn't make no sense for me i gave them one star because in their website they should put a RED NOTE CAR RENTAL FOR CREDIT CARD HOLDER ONLY , so i don't have to reserve online then drive all the way to the location then get refused. or they shouldn't let you reserved online at all. read more

Chandler and his two amazing staff members on duty last Friday, July 26th (1pm) were EXEMPLARY in a difficult situation! They were in the midst of a rental car shortage thanks to the Microsoft outage that caused many flights to be canceled. Add to that a sudden recall on minivans which took hundreds of them out of the fleet. The phone was constantly ringing and the waiting room was full of people finding their same-day reservations wouldn't be happening (there were no cars to give) and those of us with earlier reservations were dealing with delays, yet these three staff members remained unwaveringly friendly, smiling and professional the entire time I was there witnessing the car shortage crisis unfold. You'd never have known there was a crisis at all to watch and listen to these three work! Nothing but love and respect for this location and this crew!!! read more

Don't hesitate to rent from Enterprise at Regency! But get an advance reservation, AND check back every couple weeks to see if the price has gone down. All car company rates fluctuate with availability, etc. Ours went down almost $100 on a subsequent check. As far as the experience at the car rental desk, it could not have been better! They saw my husband was tall and might not fit in the small SUV we rented, so he gave us a free upgrade, THEN gave us an additional discount for being AAA members! The car was spotless. We've picked up many cars from other companies that were still wet and weren't really clean. Not at Enterprise Regency! We felt guilty bringing it back so filled with dirt from our travels through the Everglades National Park. Highly recommend renting with the employees at location. They truly try to cater to everyone's needs. We plan on becoming regular customers from here on out. read more

This review is specifically about Eric. It might seem odd given I had to exchange a vehicle because there was a smoke smell, and I had to wait half a day for any vehicle to replace it. With the current rental environment of not enough cars, and the high level of reservations, Eric did an OUTSTANDING job of keeping me calm, and left me feeling as if I was being taken care of. I was happy to take a car versus a SUV. Eric was great at showing me how to use it as the controls were different, and was engaging and helpful. read more

DO NOT make the mistake of renting from Enterprise if you can avoid it. Try Budget/Avis, Hertz, anything. My personal vehicle was hit and deemed a total loss so I had to be in a rental from them until the new car that I ordered arrived. During the time I had their car I would randomly receive rude, aggressive calls threatening me regarding returning my vehicle. Multiple times I had to explain to different people that I was still waiting for my new car to be delivered (paying customer w zero desire to keep their Kia). Initially I explained the situation to Cynthia, the manager where I got my car. She said it was fine and that I could extend until my new car came in...to let her know when it did. This must not have been communicated or wasn't regarded because a month later, ten days before I was to return their car and pick up my new personal vehicle, I got an extraordinarily rude, unprofessional call from Jessica Coffey, the area manager while I was at work in the hospital on a 12-hr shift and due back the following day. She said I had to return the car at 9am the following day (despite my having to work 7a-7p) or would be reported for theft. Mind you they had never stopped charging my credit card on file so I was still paying. She was unwilling to listen to what I was telling her; she had apparently made up her mind that I for whatever reason wasn't going to return the car. If someone this rude, unprofessional, and incompetent is the area manager it speaks volumes about how bad Enterprise has gotten over the years. After this experience I will Never rent from Enterprise again. To the automated response below from Enterprise: You have my detailed account. Service done right from the first phone call to the last handshake!! This location provides superb service! Chris was my initial contact and went above average. I was dropping off a car, but somehow had to get to the location of my car...in the middle of the work day. I called that morning and asked if someone would be able to assist me. I provided the address and upon my arrival, Chris was ready to drive me to the location. He asked about my overall experience, provided details about their car buying service and made me feel at ease (after the terrible experience at the other location). Let's back up a little... As soon as I walked into Enterprise I was greeted with friendly, professional words and smiles. Everyone looked the part (professional attire) and the location was very clean and organized. They have a variety of cars available and Chris apologized for the less than good past experience. No, he didn't have to but a customers experience at one location clouds their perspective of other locations. He gets it! I was transported to my desired location (about 5 minutes away) and couldn't have been happier! read more

Awful. Horrible. I literally lost my job because my car was being held at coggin Ford and they didn't know what was wrong with it. I was told by Ford that I could get a car "at their discounted rate" and it would be waiting on me. I took uber and they said they would have one for me the next morning to call first thing. Called and spoke to Rayne who informed me they didn't have ANY cars available to call back later they might be able to get me one. At this point my employer didn't believe me and I was let go. Not only did Ford screw me, they passed me right on to Enterprise so they could finish me off. Ive lost about $800 and my job. All over a $21 part. read more

Terrible customer service. I bought roadside assistance protection. Coming home late Friday night we picked up a screw in our tire. Tire deflated to 10 psi...I contacted "roadside assistance" Found a convenience store close to the interstate at 12am. Enterprise's roadside phone service then proceeded to tell me the only solution was for me me to change the tire...which I would have gladly done IF THE VEHICLE HAD A SPARE TIRE...IT DID NOT! So Enterprise told me to rent a room in Byron...and we would have except THERE WERE NO VACANCIES ANYWHERE IN THE AREA...the tire is now COMPLETELY FLAT...so our choices were to sleep in a van with my 3 children and wife, wait for Enterprise to open at 9am the next day...I choose fix their vehicle myself...found a tire plug kit at the convenience store and repaired the tire... Enterprise broke the terms of the contract...and still charged me full price...both managers were rude... when i relayed this experience to the manager on Saturday morning...she told me and I quote, "Sir I had nothing to do with this. LAST NIGHT AT 12am I WAS IN MY BED ASLEEP..." I told her must be nice because i was in a parking lot REPAIRING THE VEHICLE YOU RENTED TO ME...Never do business with this company. Terrible, rude, slow, and unprofessional service. Despite me being a customer for over 15 years, asked me a lot of unnecessary questions when answers should be in their system. Untrained employee was doing a very slow manual data entry when a long line of customers was waiting. So I made a reservation to rent a car yesterday for pickup today. My time was 3pm I got there at 2:30 I was looked at 3 times once by 2 guys talking and once from the girl at front desk name Rayne. 3 people walked in after me and was greeted, helped, got their cars and was gone. There was also a guy who hadn't even had a reservation they got him a car and he was on his way. Now its 3:20 still not helped. Rayne then says she going to lunch while there is a customer (ME) still waiting to be helped. Then finally someone helps me 3:40. We look over a car etc. Then he asks about payment and that's fine their policy I know never been a problem before but the kicker is he wanted a utility bill which I had on me already. But the problem is the 3 white guys who all paid with a Wells Fargo Debit cards WAS NOT ASKED FOR A UTILITY BILL. Then the guy who was helping me said it was a problem because I have a balance on the bill which is the bill for this month that's NOT EVEN DUE YET. Meanwhile he says well hold tight while I finagle something together so we can get you this car. And would you believe his ass NEVER CAME back. And totally forgot about a customer he left in ENTERPRISE car. I will NEVER go back there EVER. ENTERPRISE yall will be fine there are a lot of people who will continue to rent from you guys but yall can kiss my ass. Waiting almost 2 hours for nothing. read more

I would never recommend Enterprise to anyone! I was in a car accident and needed to rent a car. My first concern was to get to work the next day(A Friday) and have an emergency vehicle at the house over the weekend as the damage to my car was awaiting evaluation, not to joy ride or vacation with. I saw that Enterprise had a weekend deal so I went with that. I could tell it was going to be shady as soon as I the woman that helped me tried to impose their insurance coverage on me. She asked me repeatedly to sign up for it, even after I advised I would maybe put less than a hundred miles on it the whole weekend(I returned it on Monday after only about 38 miles added) and that it would just be parked in my garage the rest of the time. She then called my insurance and wrote down my collision deductible($500) and said if I got a scratch or dent bigger than what was on some reference card she showed me that they would go after my insurance for $500. This was a scare tactic because my COMPREHENSIVE deductible which she didn't even write down was actually much lower. This shady tactic was the reason why on that Monday I went with Budge Rent-A-Car for the rest of the 3 weeks that I needed a rental. The people at Enterprise on that Monday seemed much nicer than who I dealt with, but I already had a bad taste in my mouth. So roughly a month later on 01/19 I get a letter from Enterprise saying they're charging me $12 for an admin fee and that University of North Florida cited the rental for a parking violation on "12/04/2015 @ 12:00 AM" which is how it read on the letter which I still have. First off, I never go to UNF for any reason and I didn't pick up the car from Enterprise until "12/04/2015 @ 10:52 AM" as the card states. Since it was after business hours on the 19th, I called Enterprise to appeal this on the morning of the 20th. The service rep had no idea what she was doing and put me on hold for a long period of time to put JOHN a supervisor on the phone. As I explained to him that this citation was made by whoever had the car before me, he just told me that he doesn't know who had the car before me. This was an extreme oversight! He kept trying to pawn the blame off on UNF and said that they were the ones coming after me directly.... Again, this is only because Enterprise gave them my information rather than the real culprit!! He continued to blame it on me and didn't assist me AT ALL!! I continued feel wrongfully accused! He gave me the number to UNF though. I call UNF and they told me the exact time that Citation #15C18867 was written and they emailed it to me "Issue Time 8:21 AM" was the time. Proving that I didn't even rent the car yet, but Enterprise chose not to do their research before accusing me of being the one that parked there. I resubmitted an appeal online this time rather than calling so that I could paste time info, the email, and direct contact information of the UNF reps. This is what I received from Enterprise: ____________________________________________ "Dear Ronald, Thank you for your email. My name is Tamika, and I will be happy to assist! I do understand that you're wanting to dispute the validity of the violation received on your end. Based on the information I was able to review on my end, it does appear that the issuing agency directly is holding you responsible for the cost of the actual violation and we've only charged you for the administrative fee for this violation. Based on the information you've provided, I have, however, as a one time courtesy, went ahead and submitted a refund to have this $12.00 fee refunded back to your credit card on file. This refund will be processed within 21 business days. To ensure that this violation is removed from the system entirely on your end, you will want to reach out to the issuing agency directly to have the violation dismissed. I have attached a copy of your final rental receipt to this email for your records. This document should further assist you with disputing the accuracy of the violation with the issuing agency directly. The times of your rental period are listed on this document. In the meantime, if you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to email me back. Kind Regards, Tamika Citations Customer Service" ________________________________________________ This is complete BS because they still don't get that ENTERPRISE IS THE REASON they were trying to hold me responsible, because they didn't bother making a simple phone call to get the facts. To this day(01/27/16) I have not received an apology for the false accusations, for the hours that I had to spend clearing up their mess, or for the shear ignorance on Enterprise's part. Staff was very helpful and friendly. My rental was very last min. I called in around 8:00 am and went in to pick up the vehicle at 9:00 am the same day. Micah was so professional, he and the whole staff were dressed very nice. I rented the Mazda MX-5 for four days. ( FUN CAR!!!) The car was almost new and very clean and well maintained. Micah made sure I knew how everything in the car operated before I pulled off the lot, and provided his card in case I ran into any questions. They made the whole process very easy and convenient.
