No where in my reservation email confirmation does it say to do this. It does not say a disclaimer that your reservations are based on availability Attached is the rental checklist you get once you make a reservation. It does not say call the location to make sure they have a car available. I use the term "reservation " very loosely because although the dictionary defines it as The definition of a reservation is something withheld or the act of withholding something Enterprise defines it as more of a roulette situation.

The guy at the desk in the tallahassee airport informs me they don't have my premium suv there and they can offer me something smaller. I purchased the biggest suv because that's what I needed. So after charging me alot extra they gave me 2 vehicles that were smaller. So 30 minutes into our trip the tire pressure light comes on, I stopped to put air in the tire, it stay inflated until we reached our destination, then goes completely flat. I waited 2.5 hours for a tech to change the tire then, I was told to take the vehicle and exchange it at a place in Orlando. The place I was told to go then tells me they don't have a vehicle to exchange for me. How had no one checked to see that before I was referred there. No I'm stuck 4 hours away from home with a donut tire on my vehicle. After I informed then there was no vehicle at the location they sent me to, then i was told someone would contact me with further instructions. 26 hours later still no contact with further instructions. I dealt with the local branch, the customer service reps, and the roadside assistance department, every single one lied and were very unhelpful. I have nothing good to say about this company. Also looking at other reviews this is typical service for them. This is the worst company with the worst employees. I will never use them again and I will be reporting them to better business bureau.

As this Enterprise location is the closest to me, off I went to get my car for a business trip that starts tomorrow. The first thing we noticed is that the rental facility is far nicer inside than I would have expected. Clean, lots of windows, well lit. Sets a nice tone. And the counter staff were friendly and helpful. They quickly processed my rental paperwork for me and we were walking to take a look at the car in under 10 minutes. When I saw that the car only had manual seat controls, I asked if there was something with electric controls (no, I am not a car-seat-control snob. I have a bad lower back and being able to adjust the seat while driving, especially in a rental, helps make sure I can minimize any lower back pain). The agent quickly looked at the other cars in the lot, saw one with electric controls, and switched my original car for that one. Great customer service! The car was a 2015 and clean (and when the cars were not clean, I saw that the desk agents would run out and take them to the car wash station themselves so that the new renter could quickly be on their way and not have to wait). The only reason I am not making this a 5 star review is because I want to see how the actual rental car is during my trip. I'll post an update when I get back.

After speaking to corporate, they notified her to give me another car and she was really ugly at that point! She would not give me keys until an hour after I got there because I ordered it online through Orbitz and put an hour after my flight got in just in case there were any delays YET she had a car available!! So we sat there and looked at one another. I had informed her that my mother was ill and in the hospital and I had been traveling all day to get there but she did NOT care--she was trying to make a point. So noted ~ I will NEVER use them again and I plan on telling everyone that I know - I got her point!

Did I mention we were 2 states away? We didn't make it before the JAX office closed and had to painfully limp into Tallahassee. It wasn't the additional day I had to pay for that made me angry. It was the agent who sucked her teeth at me and gave me an attitude when I delivered the message that the car needs to undergo maintenance before being rented out again. She sullenly stated that management would call within 24 hrs regarding the issues we experienced. I had to call and reach out the next day ( greater 24 hrs) to find out that corporate had already reviewed the incident and credited the extra day I paid for to get back into town. Summary: The agency itself is decent but I would definitely stay away from this location. The customer service is horrendous!!
