Came here Sunday to celebrate my best friend's birthday for the third year in a row -- it's her go-to spot for a birthday Sunday funday brunch. I ordered the hanger steak and it was cooked perfectly. Loved the flavors of the broccoli and chimichurri. My boyfriend had the quinoa salad; he enjoyed it, but the chicken was a bit dry. We had the same server as last year, and he was very nice and personable. I had a few drinks, but the spicy margarita was way too sweet with too much agave. On the plus side, the empanadas, bang bang shrimp, and guacamole were all tasty and fabulous. Minus the sweet margarita and dry chicken, it was still a solid experience with good service and great food overall.

We had a really nice dinner at Avocado Grill. The food was fresh, flavorful, and healthy, with a great variety of options. The adult portions were just right, and the kids' chicken tenders and fries came in surprisingly large portions, which was a plus for our little ones. It's definitely on the pricier side, especially for the portion sizes, but the quality and freshness made up for it. Bottomless Mimosa is $22 for two hours with purchase of any entree. Avocado is really an option on everything and was fresh. Loved the guac. Our sever Dell was excellent and food came out very fast. When we sat down and looked at the menu, we were actually offended lol $9.50 for a side of French fries and $17 for a SIDE of cauliflower & chickpeas? What! We met some friends here so we enjoyed ourselves but I was very taken back by the prices for average food. I ordered the Jerk Mahi Wrap, which was good but the fries I can tell you, are not $9.50 worthy, in any recession. I was pleasantly surprised by the kids meal though. I can really speak for the service because that too was average and [[HIGHLIGHT]]we ended up moving inside because it was miserable outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, wouldn't really recommend unless you have a fat wallet and just want to blow money on an average diner style lunch

I'm in west palm beach for the week and the first time we visited Avocado Grill is was so good and the food was so delicious that we came back a second time! However, the second time the food runner (not our server) spilled our truffle fries all over the table and onto all our other food. It would've been fine if they replaced the food right away or comped us for the mistake but neither happened. We actually had to ask for our food to be replaced and still paid the entire price for the meal. So if we only came that first time I would've given 5 stars because this place is a vibe but I don't think they handled the mistake very well.

We got chips and guac, a dozen oysters, and a few drinks... and walked out over $100 lighter. The food was fine--nothing bad, nothing mind-blowing--but at that price point, I expected to be dazzled. Atmosphere was solid, and my wife loved the decor... so if you're here for the vibes, it delivers. If you're here for value... maybe keep walking (or just get one less drink).

Would definitely come back. Already planning my order for next time. Not flawless, but absolutely worth the visit. Now for the real talk: The indoor space is great, well-designed, and actually comfortable. There's a bar that sets the tone the moment you walk in. Outside seating exists... but let's just say it's not as clean as inside and you'll want to be indoors where they clearly spent the design budget. Fried calamari? Knockout. Perfectly crisp, full of flavor, and borderline addictive. Easily one of the best things we had. The grilled mahi tacos were another win... fresh, well-seasoned, and light without being boring. But the sleeper star? The beef short rib with poached eggs. Rich, savory, perfectly cooked. It had no business being that good but here we are. Now... let's talk about the guacamole. Somehow the one letdown of the meal. Soggy, a little sad, and not what you'd expect from a place doing everything else so well and with "avocado" in their name. Honestly shocked! Didn't get to try the shishito peppers, but I already regret it and they're first on the list for next time. The truffle fries? Order them! That's it. Don't ask questions. Just get them. Service was great... friendly, quick, and knew the menu. Felt like they actually cared, which always makes a difference. Would I come back? Without a doubt. Just skipping the guac and doubling down on the fries and short rib next time. This one's a solid spot and definitely earned a return visit.

I found this restaurant in a whim while scrolling yelp and decided to give it a try for the gulf shrimp wrap I saw pictures of. Unfortunately for me that is no longer a menu item, but I'm here so what the heck. I sat at the bar and the service was very friendly! I ordered the edamame dumplings, avocado salad, and grilled shrimp. As someone who loves edamame and dumplings I had high hopes for this dish and it did not live up to the hype. It lacks texture and flavor and in my opinion should be reworked or removed. As for the avocado salad, it was very tasty no complaints. The shrimp were also good, cooked well, and nice flavor. I did find two drinks that were not deveined well so that was unfortunate but does happen every now and again. During the week they have happy hour with 5 dollar dishes and 2 for 1 drinks. I would come back for the happy hour and the service.

Read some great reviews, but was not expecting it to be THAT good, but happy to say it was. Cauliflower small plate was absolutely incredible! I could have eaten the whole thing myself and then ordered more. Morrocan chicken tinga was amazing. So flavorful and unique and perfect to share if you don't want a whole dish to yourself. But please save room for dessert and get the mango key lime pie. It was absolutely unreal from the filling to the crust to the strawberries and whipped cream on top. If I lived in the area I would go back and try every single thing on the menu. I have a feeling everything would be delicious! read more

Our meal was during lunch on Friday, April 2. The entire time we were at the restaurant, the restaurant host, who was greeting, checking in, and seating every single customer, HAD HIS MASK PULLED DOWN TO HIS CHIN - NEVER COVERING HIS MOUTH OR HIS NOSE. And the VERY few occasions that his mask was covering his mouth (his nose was never covered) he would pull his mask down to speak to people!! I am getting a COVID-19 test later this week, and if I have contracted COVID-19, I am certain that I got it at this restaurant. If the restaurant management cares about its customers, this employee should be let go for endangering the health of the restaurant patrons and breaking the law. read more

The place is ok, the service could be better. It took us a good 5/10 minutes before even getting our water. Took even longer just to even get our coffee and mimosa order (neatly to say our coffee wasn't hot at all). The food was ok, nothing to brag about. read more

Loved the vibe at this spot on a Wednesday during a very busy lunch hour!!! The staff was extremely accommodating and pleasant. My waiter suggested a salad special topped with grilled scallops, corn and white beans. It was fresh and scrumptious! I was famished so I also had the Mushrooms Fricassee which was served over yummy grits and drizzled with truffle oil. The menu choices are really interesting and I can see myself working my way through their menu on future visits!!! read more

Came here for the first time a couple of years ago and returned last Saturday for my last night with the family in West Palm. Great staff, cool vibes in the place, and great food! I got the sweet potato coconut encrusted mahi mahi atop a beautiful arugula salad. Many of the portions here are smaller, but the staff is pretty good at letting you know if they don't think it would be enough food. Healthy, fresh, and unique combinations of dishes! Will be back again! read more

Dined here last night. Ordered the sweet potato/ coconut encrusted Mahi for $27. It came out on a large bed of arugula and a few green beans. As for the fillet? What fillet. A few small strips were buried under nearly a half inch of the overpowering crust. I honestly was stunned. Perhaps they served me this as I didnt order a drink? How could they charge $27 for this! No way. To the management's credit, and the waiter was fine FYI, they brought out an entire second mahi dish. This one was much hotter and the crust was appropriately much thinner and the fish fillet was clearly more reasonable in size. $27 is still too high a price. Honestly, they made the situation right, but the food quality is like chilis or Cheesecake Factory though more expensive. I won't be back, don't bother going. read more

Fantastic lunch menu in the Flagler Waterfront area, just a couple blocks from City Hall. I had the oysters on the half shell and the zucchini blossoms. We had the guacamole for the table, and it was all amazing. The zucchini blossoms were stuffed with feta and biting into it was a flavor bomb, especially with the tomato jam. Another of my party had the crispy fish taco, which I tried and it was so fresh and light, even though it's a fried fish. Others in the party also had the steak wrap, steak taco, and shrimp taco. Everyone raved. The French fries were amazing. The atmosphere is very relaxed and has an outdoor feel, even inside. A great wine and beer selection (though we couldn't partake as it was a work lunch). Waitstaff is very professional and friendly, and food came out quickly. The kitchen area is open air to the seating area, so you can smell the delicious cooking. We'll definitely look forward to our next visit. read more

What's all the Buzz about Avocado Grill. So then I head into this nooked away little hole in the wall with a 2 hour waiting list! What the Hell? For Avocados? While outside I run into who's who in town. Lively hip and fresh. Green everywhere. FaRm to Wall to Table. This place is a gem! "What's going on inside this Emerald Food Destination?" One look at the menu and Im totally hooked. What intersting and delectable fare. Raw Bar and Small Plates with an eclectic fusion of seafood sushi and contemperary haute cuisine. Foie Gras Emulsion over a Sous Vide Duck Sushi roll.....OMG What! Having just come from Jean Georges NYC, I was not expecting anything too exciting in Palm Beach this season. But Clematis is alive and HOT HOT HOT this season. Camelot, Alchemy, Osteria and now Avocado Grill. Chef Julian is no stranger to Palm Beach. He has taken his innovative new cuisine elements from his where4 he made his name in both Pistache and PB on the Island. I have eaten here now three times and I still cant decide what i love best. There's so much! Duck Tacos, Lumpcrab and Avocado Mango spiced Watermelon Salsa, Guanciale (Pork Cheeks) cheddar grits, Oysters on the Raw, Braised Short Rib Stuffed Shells were the bomb! And the Mushroom Fricasee....my mouth still waters at the memory. Naughty NIco Sushi Inside out Sushi roll! Lamb Sliders...Just drop your finger anywhere on this menu and enjoy. Yes I will be here often. Make some room at the community table for me. read more

Arrived to Avocado Grill around 7:30pm on a Thursday night. Initially set at the bar and ordered one watermelon margarita, requested for "skinny." Seemed full of sugar and not as "fresh" as the real fruit advertised! Disappointing. Relocated to outdoor tent seating to order dinner. My boyfriend asked the waiter for his recommendations, he mentioned 5-6 "favorite" items. We ordered all: octopus, beet salad, arugula salad, rock shrimp, stuffed zucchini blossoms, and an empanada. Octopus was completely ruined, cooked with a cured sausage and infused with liquid smoke. Stuffed zucchini was "oozing" with goat cheese and no flavor. Empanada was "so, so." Rock shrimp were smothered with too much heavy sauce and a heavy fried layer. Beet salad was the only palatable plate. Highly disappointed and thoroughly dissatisfied. Would not recommend. The food is delicious and the drinks are creative. I was skeptical about trying their ginger guacamole (as I couldn't imagine enjoying pieces of shaved ginger in my guac) but it was incredible. I now make my own guacamole this way! The grilled avocado with watermelon salad is fantastic and fresh and I also recommend the Japanese eggplant side dish. As for the drinks, I enjoyed the avocado margarita. But, there are plenty of other drinks that don't feature avocados, if you'd prefer. I myself am not gluten free, but there are nearly unlimited options for people who are. All in all an awesome restaurant! read more

I absolutely loved Avocado Grill. The food was delicious-especially the grilled avocado and tacos! Their happy hour deals are awesome. The menu is different and definitely a great spot for "foodies" especially with the continuously rotating menu. The bartender seemed really busy, poor woman was alone tending bar for the whole place so it seemed like it took a bit longer to get drinks, but she was cranking them out and had good recommendations. read more

Avocado Grill was excellent. For a late lunch, two of us shared the guac (with added carrots + cucumbers), empanadas, and the chicken bao buns plus 2 desserts (creme brulee and the avocado mousse). The avocado mousse is a MUST HAVE. If you go, highly recommend to order that - it's amazing. Everything was delicious. Service was great, also. They have a bunch of tables outside or inside dining is also available. Can't wait to go back. read more

Our Easter Sunday brunch here was a disappointment because the music was SO FREAKING LOUD. In addition to the feverish boom-boom-boom beat of disco music, some guy in a bunny themed shirt kept coming around playing a saxophone, which only added to the cacophony. Also, a hostess moved one umbrella off me for someone else, then tried to take my other one until I snapped at her. The tip was automatically added to the bill. I would have tipped 20% anyway because I pity anyone who has to work in Disco Purgatory. The food was okay. The truffle fries were the best part of my burger. The place seems to have an infestation of Instagram models, but you may consider that a plus. In summary, I would have rated this restaurant higher if I was deaf. read more

The ambiance, service and food at Avocado Grill are top notch. David was our server and he was fantastic. We had the steak and eggs special. Not only was it the Best steak and eggs I've ever had- it was the best meal I ate this week. We also had the grilled avocado, grilled mozzarella and fried zucchini blossoms. Everything about this place is great. They had a live reggae band playing too for lunch. Highly recommend Avocado Grill for a great meal!! read more

I used to love this place but they are NOT FOLLOWING COVID GUIDELINES AT ALL. On the weekends it literally was jam packed like a crowded club with no one wearing masks. Looked like you can't even walk through because it was so packed, with everyone standing. It's such a privilege to have restaurants and bars open unlike many other states, you guys can't even follow a capacity limit? So disappointed. read more

This restaurant has been one of my favorite places for years. I was there on 12/22 to pick-up a take order. While standing in the bar waiting for my food, I saw four chefs in the open kitchen. There were ZERO MASKS being worn. Two pulled below the nose. Two below the chin. read more

Kind of pricy for small portions, but food was still great. Small place and choice of dinning inside or outside. There's a stage across the street so you will be able to enjoy some entertainment when dinning outside. read more

I love the tacos here and as the name would imply, there are a lot of dishes that utilize avocados and guacamole. The atmosphere is fun and light. The bar, while I've never drank there, looks like it would be a nice time to have at night with a date. My only complaint is the size of the restaurant. It's a little narrow and crowded. For those patrons who don't enjoy being elbow to elbow with others, it might not be a first rate experience. The food though definitely is. The service has always been great as well. read more

Small Plates at Avocada Grill are Delicious!! We had: Grilled avocados (with watermelon & mango cubes) - very good; Jumbo lump crab & avocado -- ok but missing flavor (when you salt/pepper the dish pops); Guacomole = very good, fresh warm chips served with it; Ginger Guacomole = not so good, but if you have a daring palate you might enjoy this combination; Seared Mozzarella with tomatoes, pesto, argula = awesome...would be better with larger tomatoes IMO; Pan Seared Yellowtail Snapper over amazing thick pasta noodles = tremendous, would have eaten 2x as much as they served, so thankfully they give you the right amount to save you the calories - delicious! We look forward to going back to try more menu items, the food comes out fast and fresh and is so good! read more

We LOVED this spot. Everything was fantastic. The interior is adorably decorated - great for a luxurious lunch. We ordered for the table so here are reviews based on my bites:) The guac was pretty good and served with warm chips. I was visiting from Texas, so i was a tough critic on that one! Next time, I'd love to try the Ginger Guac. The hangar steak entree was fantastic. The seared scallops were a 8/10. The zucchini blossoms...I want to eat those every day. Our drinks were all AHmazing. We all tasted each others and I had FOMO from every sip. I can't find the menu for that to remember their exact names but I personally had the avocado marg and the one that's a moscow mule twist (which was SO good, slightly herb-y and not as sweet as a typical mule). I don't think you can go wrong on a drink here. We loved our trip to West Palm and the Avocado Grill was one of the highlights. I'll be back next time I'm in the area! read more

I live in Michigan and vacation in WPB at least once a year. This year I visited The Avocado Grill for the first time and I'm in love with the lump crab avocado appetizer. A man on the other side of us had two shots of whiskey at $260 a piece. I couldn't believe it! So it's a fun place to people watch as well, and of course just walking through the Breakers Hotel is a kick. I like to think of all its history. If you are rich, it's a nice place for a date. If you aren't rich and want a special evening, I can recommend it. I self parked for free, but if you valet you can get your ticket validated.

We went around 3 PM on a Sunday and had the Smoked Yellowfin Tuna sandwich, Steak Bomb, and Burrata Caprese sandwich. The smoked tuna sandwich was honestly one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Everything we ordered was really good, and the service and overall experience were great. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I made the trip specifically for the Beef Carpaccio sandwich and they were sold out by the time we got there. Totally understand things happen, but it was a little disappointing after driving that far for it. Looks like I'll just have to come back earlier next time. If they had the carpaccio sandwich available, this easily would have been a 5-star review since the sandwich genuinely changed my life!!

If there was a 3.5 star option, that's actually what I'd like to leave. I went here for dinner with the family. The options are quite limited on the dinner menu for vegetarians. My family at least eats chicken, so the only entree option we had was the grilled chicken. We also asked to replace the fish tacos with chicken, so we ordered that as well. We ordered guacamole and the zucchini blossom appetizers. The guacamole was great and so were the zucchini blossoms. I love anything with goat cheese so they were delicious. The grilled chicken was very plain. It's the type of thing you'd eat with something else like pasta, or in a taco, not just by itself. I ordered the garlic green beans as a side which were also not great. The beans felt steamed and not crispy and there was garlic but not much flavor to it. The chicken tacos were delicious. I definitely would order those again. The side we got with those was the chili garlic brocolini which was also delicious. Overall, most of the food was good but the chicken was very plain and I'm not sure it was worth how expensive this place is. However, they were kind to switch out the fish for chicken in the tacos which gave us another option. Not sure if I'd go again for dinner but if their lunch menu is different, I'd definitely consider it. read more

Do NOT ORDER OYSTERS!!!! Avocado grill will serve you with left over oysters instead of what you order- I ordered a dozen of Blue points, instead they brought me what ever kind of WEST coast mix and match they had left . We All know the difference between East and West coast, right!!!?Blue point, being East coast natives is distinctly different from any kind of West coast oyster by appearance and taste. After I mentioned to my server that "I know my oysters, and this is not a Blue point"' , a manager showed up, holding oysters in his HANDS and started to cause scene educating me about their oyster selection, trying to assure me that the dozen I got is indeed Blue Points!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't have the energy for this kind of confrontation and just ask him to replace a few bad pieces I had in my dozen. Miraculously , the replacement pieces were BLUE POINTS!!!!!!!!! Of course my original serving was taken away by then and it was not evidence to compare !!! Avocado Grill was a vibe! We were seated outdoors which was perfect during a nice breezy evening. We started with drinks which were nice and strong and the filling appetizers (forgot to take pictures of appetizers) 1. Guacamole = 10/10 2. Rock shrimp = 7/10 3. Ribs = 5/10 The rock shrimp was basic nothing special and the ribs were ok to me it lacked flavor. The mains were delicious we all enjoyed our meal. The staff was attentive and very nice. What a great find in the Palm Beach area! We were pleasantly surprised with the fantastic food and service of this restaurant. It's a small space and they also have outside seating. The decor is homey and they also have a nice bar area. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Some friends and I were in town for a concert and we were looking for a place to eat dinner. "Incredible place! Despite the rainy weather, we felt the real summer vibe in the atmosphere of this place! Thanks to the friendly waiter Matthew for helping us with the choice of dishes and drinks! Went for brunch. I ordered the salmon hash, which was really good but kinda a small portion for the price. My boyfriend ordered the grill prime burger which he really enjoyed. I didn't take a bite because I don't eat beef, but it looked really really good. He's meal came with a side of fries, and I asked the waiter for a side for my meal. I was kinda shocked to see the fries were $7 when I got my bill! All in all, the food was good, and the restaurant was cute. read more

From the Empanadas to the Curried Cauliflower to start, the meal kicked off with a tasteful bang! Needless to say, I was excited about the entrée! Such a unique and beautiful atmosphere. My waitress was a doll and the food was fresh, healthy, and delicious. I enjoyed walking around downtown after eating here, it's a great way to end the evening after a perfect meal. I got lucky because after I left the restaurant there was live music playing about a block or two away. Fedrick and Diego the two managers of the restaurant are total clowns. There is no seriousness in this place and no need to spend your money on garbage, fake, Mexican food. The avocado is great! Unfortunately the menu does not offer a big of food, which is not understandable. Important to mention: the restaurant does not accept people with service dog, which is a good reason for me to never come back to this place. They would tell you that you can only sit outside with your dog, no matter if it's 110 degrees outside. read more

Ive been here last march and decided not to come again unless they re-train their staff again. The food is absolutely gorgeous! However if its a rush hour dont go mimbling here cause the staff is not well trained to handle the pressure. You can see in their faces that they are too tired to talk and entertain you. read more

Best place in town! I am a local and this is exactly what West Palm needed. Duck tacos and lamb sliders are definite must haves! Had a few other small plates and everything was excellent! I really wanted to try their happy hour but the bar was packed and I didn't want to wait for someone to leave so we ate in the dining hall. Our server was Nikolas. He needs a raise!! He gave the best recommendations and everything he suggested we ordered and it was delicious. He was the one that recommended we share the tomahawk and add a 3oz Japanese wagyu. I've never tasted a piece of meat that melted in my mouth before. That was the only way I could describe the exquisiteness of this cut of meat. I'm not a steak person but I thoroughly enjoyed the A5 and tomahawk. Everything was well seasoned and delicious. The Rockefeller oysters were okay. I've had better so I don't think I'd ordered them again unless it's for happy hour. Our drinks were delicious as well. I ordered the passionate love affair and watermelon breeze (not pictured) and my boyfriend ordered "some like it hot" (pictured). It was a cool presentation because it was delivered with the lime on fire. All drinks were on the sweet side but not overly sweet. Also, they give complimentary corn. The corn was small bud edible. The onion rings, however, were not. They were SO hard that I couldn't bit into them and when I tried to use a fork and knife it ended up just making a mess. We ended up barely making a dent in both the cauliflower and onion rings and when they took our plates we were honest that both dishes were basically inedible. They very kindly removed them from our bill which we appreciated.
