It's a beautiful, clean space and staff is attentive. We ordered 3 bento boxes for 11.95. Food was delicious! I ordered the spicy mango box it wasn't too spicy it had the perfect amount of heat. And sweet. Def recommend to come sit in if you normally take out. They were super attentive tuve with drinks and anything we needed. Kid friendly! The inside is very bright, modern and sleek. They even have a private room, that is opened for dinner. We ordered a variety of things : Spicy Edamame - this had a kick to it. It almost tasted like the pepper that would make sriracha. But it's always fun to put a spin on a classic. Chicken lettuce wrap - didn't love this. It is very proper forward. But that's just a personal preference. The lettuce was very fresh and crisp. Smoked Salmon Sushi - I wish the salmon had a smokier flavor. It was very mild. This is the first place I've been to that refuses to honor their check in offer. First they stated "it's not this restaurant" and then said "yelp will give you the price you order online" When I went to online orders the grub hub app asks for a coupon code which is not provided on check in offer. I have also dined in once before. The service was good and ambience is intimate & colorful. Also, another plus was that my whole order was correct down the the additional sauces I ordered. The place is a disgruntled mess. When you walk in the sushi bar, counter, chairs, register, & behind the cashier have odds and ends all lying over the place. Worth a visit! Avocado Sushi recently opened within my area and my boyfriend and I went to check it out this past weekend. It's small but good and worth a try. The location: This restaurant is located in a smaller plaza with decent parking if you go during earlier afternoon hours. Arena steakhouse is right there and I can see on the weekend nights it getting packed with limited parking for the other stores/restaurants. Just something to know ahead of time. The space: The restaurant is pretty big looking on the outside so I was disappointed at how small the actual inside was. Good for a quick lunch or early dinner but they must fill up fast at night. There are about 9 tables total;about 7 In the main space and 2 more behind a partition. I don't suggest this place for larger parties. There are also seats at the bar. Ambiance: I think they did a great job with the space. It's a bright green and white color scheme. Clean looking and bright. The area I think they could do better was the music. When we went it sounded like they were using their ipod. We heard about 4 Nsync songs mixed with Akon songs back to back. There wasn't much variety and the sound would fade out when they got what seemed to be a txt or email. Slightly tacky. Food: Food was amazing! We got about 6 different vegetarian rolls and they were awesome. More variety than any other place I've been including a delicious banana roll. Yummy! Price is very reasonable. My mom and I both ordered mango tofu and it came out petrified to the point that you couldn't even eat it. For both of us, all they would take was $5 off the bill. I've been here many times and have dealt with a lot - from almost slipping on the wet floor, to get my whole glass of sodas knocked on to me, and slow or incorrect service. The tuna roll was delicious, and not spicy at all. My boyfriend had the chicken teriyaki and fried rice. The fried rice was great. The chicken was good, but nothing to write home about- which is to be expected at a sushi place. We also ordered the money bag appetizer- trust me you NEED to order these. I had a really great experience here last night! The restaurant is small, but extremely comfortable. The service was absolutely top notch and both the server and the runner were very attentive and aimed to provide the best service possible. The Sushi was fresh and reasonably priced. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the fried Gyoza, but I think that is more my preference as I am used to pan seared fried gyoza, and this was deep fried. We don't live on that part of the Island, but I imagine we will be back sometime when we want good sushi. read more

Just lettuce and tomatoes. But the dressing was good and they gave two little containers. The sweet potato roll was OVERFLOWING with sweet potato! It was a little difficult to keep together but I really enjoyed it. I had it with brown rice which is an option for all rolls. The drizzle sweet sauce was great too. California roll was good. I decided to try this new sushi place because it's close to my house and the only sushi restaurant in the area. The food was really great, you could tell that the fish was fresh. Our waitress was great, she didn't make any mistakes and she continuously refilled our water during our meal. I ordered a seaweed salad, a shrimp and avocado roll, and I tried the Yankee roll. First is was lacking bean sprouts, kind of essential to the dish. It was lacking green onion and other necessary ingredients for it to taste like it was chicken pad Thai. Wow!!!! I just got done eating at Avocado Sushi and it was great!! This was my first time here and I was not disappointed. The food was fresh and very well priced. The chef gave me a complimentary avocado ball appetizer and it was delicious. I went with the signature lunch special giving me soup, salad with a basic roll and a special roll! Fantastic! I always try spicy tuna roll wherever I go and it was very good, I ordered the hot girl roll and it was presented very well, fresh and very tasty! BTW, hot tea and water were not extra. This seems small but most places charge so this was a nice surprise. I almost don't want to let the secret out about how good the food and staff was here, but I want to see this place stay here for a long time! I have not ordered from Avocado in quite sometime due to the fact that not only has their quality of food gone down hill, but also their quality of service is horrendous. My coworkers frequently ask me to order food for them and today specifically was the worst interaction I've had with them. The girl answering the phone was beyond rude and disrespectful, she was yelling at me when I requested a roll they "do not have" even though it's advertised on their menu, so I told her no problem and switched the roll. She then proceeded to argue and fight with me throughout the whole order so I told her I would call her back in a few minutes with an accurate order that they "have". When I called back she answered the phone and immediately started being rude to me again telling me "oh, you're the girl that hung up? Next time be nice or we will not serve.", I explained to her that I was being nice to her and that I didn't want to hold her phone lines up so I would call back when I had a proper order, she continued to argue with me so I told her maybe she should practice what she preaches about kindness. I'm shocked people still order from them, the girls answering the phone need to either lose their jobs or be trained in proper phone etiquette. read more
