I used to love this place but I came here tonight and was really disappointed. I'm not sure what her problem was, but the woman who served us was very rude. We were the only people here pretty much the whole time we were here. After we had finished eating we waited about 20 minutes for her to come check on us. She finally did and she already had the receipt in hand while we were still waiting to order dessert. I order dessert and ask her for boxes for the food, as I'm asking her she puts one of the dirty plates on top of a half full plate I was going to take home. Guess not. She brought over our mochi that was frozen solid, and finally brought over the box for the leftovers and literally threw it down on the table and it hit my hand. This is one of my favorite sushi places. The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the service is great whether you're eating in or ordering take out. However, they've charged me $22 for a bottle of Yellow Tail on two separate occasions. The brands aren't listed on their wine menu because they know that no one in their right mind is going to pay more than $6 for a bottle of Yellow Tail. You have great food, you don't need to nickel and dime people for crappy wine. That's shady AF. read more

Pretty standard sushi. The crazy roll was good, I actually haven't heard of this roll before. The place is kinda small.

My husband always talks about this place so I finally went with him, and it was very good !!! I'm very picky with my sushi because I only eat cooked fish.. I found a roll that was great (bomb roll) very fresh and I also love the spicy Kani salad !! My favorite sushi place on SI closed and it was hard for me to find another place.. Sushi dishes are good but inconsistent, Chef or Owner not confident in his own abilities/tastes and changing dishes too much to match various customer needs. Certainly taking customer feedback is good, but you must be the leader of your food, you can't satisfy everyone, but if you use organic and higher quality ingredients, and stay consistent and quality-obsessed, you will make more happy customers than unhappy ones. The renovations were done with very cheap materials, paint not evenly painted on ceilings and walls, sloppy and overall a very poorly renovated place, although new. Now very good attention to detail or quality, perhaps this is just a rush to open quickly to make money money money! read more

I haven't been to the location but this is my go-to delivery place (through Seamless). Normally quick delivery and the food is delicious. I tend to get the same order each time, the gyoza are tasty though the order is small but worth it if I'm eating alone, the sushi rolls are some of the better ones I've eaten. I received a flyer in the mail for a family bargain. when I called and ordered the person who answer the phone did not tell me that the Family bargain is a dinner special. I ordered and the food came very fast. When I looked at the portions it was not enough food for two people and the plate was the same portion as the lunch size. I looked at the menu and was surprised to see that the lunch menu for the same meal was $7 and had more food. If would have ordered two of the lunch it would have been $14. The family bargain was $20. That price would probably been a savings if it was dinner and full price but I ordered at 12pm. I am giving this place one star because of the nasty and unprofessional response I got when I called. I explained what happened and told the woman that I made a mistake and she said " that's your problem not mine". I said I would never eat there again that she was rude and she said I don't care go somewhere else. Edit. I am updating my review to three stars because believe it or not I received a phone call from the owner Marco and he was very apologetic and offered to correct the problem. First time coming here and I was pleasantly surprised. Ordered take out. Got a couple rolls, goyza, Kani salad and they were real good. Main course was chicken pad Thai, shrimp and salmon teriyaki. While I'm a pad Thai guy and I have yet to find a decent pad Thai on Staten Island. This one wasn't so bad, wasn't great, but wasn't bad like other places on the island. Was just there for lunch with my mom, food was pretty good, except the sushi that was not good at all, but the waitress was terrible. Multiple families in bigger groups came after us and all got served first, when the waitress finally came to take our order she didn't even let us finish. Not once did she come to check on us and see how we were doing or if we wanted anything else, we had to wave her down and even then she tried to ignore us. When she finally came back and we tried to ordered drinks she wasn't even listening! We finished telling her what we wanted to drink and she said okay and never came back.At least we weren't billed for the drinks. We are never going back! read more
