I went to Honda of Santa Monica to get a paint job estimate for my front bumper. Jack M. is the onsite estimator for AW Collision. From the get-go, he struck me as very professional and knowledgeable. He gave me an estimate after we discussed the details of what need to get done, and a few days later, I scheduled my drop-off. The dealership provided me a ride back home, although they don't offer pickup for when the car is ready - fair enough. The estimate was 2-3 days for the bumper paint job to get done. I didn't hear from the shop or Jack until late evening on the 3rd day that my car was ready for pickup. I went in first thing in the morning and upon inspecting the paint job, noticed that there were some issues that I was not expecting based on my detailed discussion with Jack. Apparently, the shop had not communicated that the bumper was beyond repair. They did attempt to do a proper job but couldn't because of the poor condition of the bumper to begin with. Jack was very patient and explained it very clearly. It was unfortunate that the shop didn't do a better job at communicating directly to me as the customer or to Jack so he could discuss this with me. Jack handled the whole job very professionally and I couldn't be happier working with him. I am glad that I picked AW Collision, after extensive research of multiple Honda dealerships and their respective affiliated body shops. AW Collision Calabasas was the only silver lining from my car being hit then rental being hit and the disaster of dealing with others' terrible insurance claiming liabilities. Julia, who has dealt with my shenanigans for weeks, is seriously an angel. So sweet, efficient, and very generous with her time. I know my car isn't the only car that has to be serviced for damage, but I felt like she and Joe were committed in providing me beyond excellent service as if I was the only customer. Julia called me to update me at every step, stayed late to deal with my situations willingly, and even fought for me with the insurance as if she was my lawyer fighting for what is just for me. Not only that but she tried her hardest and effectively too to bring the best deals and outcomes for my sake. I felt like she was me or trying to be in my shoes. That defines an awesome customer service. The shop had nothing to gain for all these extra miles she went for. Car shops will get their money despite whose pocket it comes out of, but she and Joe both tried so hard to make sure it came out of the right pocket. I felt so lucky that I ended up getting AW collision's service. Everything at the shop was so efficient time-wise as well. How many car shops will fight with the insurance adjustor for the customer? It wasn't even a big case that brought the shop big money AT ALL. If you don't want a shop with mechanics who'll just fix the car and be done, but instead, workers who make you feel like you can trust and depend on them to do and fight for what's right, this is the place. I'm sure all workers here are very pleasant, but my experience with Julia and Joe were phenomenal. Not to mention the car came back in flawless condition. They not only fixed the part that was hit, but they definitely touched up and cleaned up the entire car without asking for recognition. It is in a much better condition now than before the accident!! I will never do business with them again, i have warned my family and friends to do the same. I took back my rental car after 30 day to them and told them i do not have coverage for rental, the girl ( Sasha) sitting there tells me you do not have to return the car until your car is fixed and she said I send them request for second month and you got approval for 2nd month i asked are you sure because I have 3 more Cars so I don't want to pay for rental car she said Reza why you are worried, if your insurance does not pay for any reason our company will pay for the rental. Therefore I used the car for the second month and now enterprise tells me I'm responsible for the rental money. I went back to the girl and she pretends that she does not know me(wow)and she does not want to admit that she told me to use the car. I Took the issue to the supervisor and he threatens me with their lawyers. Now I have $1.186.52 bill and enterprise sending this bill to collections company. read more

This is the only shop I trust for my Mercedes repairs. These guys are honest, customer centric, and incredibly responsive and transparent with questions and repairs. Kevin and Shawn went above and beyond when Geico refused to pay for necessary repairs when my Mercedes got rear ended. They helped me in every way possible, were available for every phone call and email. Furthermore, they acted with incredible integrity when the Geico insurance adjusters tried to deny charges for necessary repairs. I can't thank this shop enough for getting my car back to me in perfect condition and working with VERY difficult and dishonest Geico adjusters so that my best interest and the safety of my vehicle was always first priority. I have used AW Collision for several repairs on my families vehicles. They are by far the best body shop in the Los Angeles area, especially when it comes to Mercedes Benz. The quality of their work and attention to detail is second to none. When my insurance company wanted to put "Recycled Parts" on my 2018 vehicle they stood their ground with my insurance company and repaired the car properly, with OEM parts. Julia and Paige made sure I was kept up to speed on the progress of my repairs with phone calls, emails and texts. I used their services 5 years ago on my previous Mercedes C250, because they came recommended at the time, by our dealership. I had a horrible experience with them back then. Lots of delays and no calls were provided to me let me know of the changes in time horizon for expected completion. I was recently hit by another car in the front bumper of my current Mercedes GLK. Again, I was recommended their outfit, and I decided to give them another chance. Unfortunately nothing has changed. The work ended up taking more than twice as long as they originally quoted me. And again, their reps promised to call me if there were any changes in the time expected. I did not receive a single call. I had to call them each time there was a delay from the originally promised time. Bottom line- Very slow, and far from perfect customer service. Either they need to hire some more people or quote longer times. GO ANYWHERE ELSE! My next call is to the Mercedes dealership to give them my feedback. read more

AW made the best out of a crap situation. They are the preferred body shop of Lexus Woodland Hills so that's why i chose them. My car was at there shop for 30 days, most of which was due to insurance complications, the insured party that hit me took 2 weeks to accept liability, then i had to go thru my own insurance due to a limitation on their coverage, blah blah blah. Once insurance approved the repair, AW collision took 10 business days to get the repair done right, and my car looks great i couldn't be more pleased with the results. I was having a horrific experience with my own insurance company (GEICO), where they were trying to claim my car's damage was my own doing (despite a police report, witnesses and the fact that I was out of town when someone sideswiped my car + 6 others on my street). My car was towed from the Honda dealership (as my car is a lease) to this place and wow I could not have been more lucky. Shawn called me one morning to tell me he thought Geico was about to screw me over as he saw it happen to a few other cars that were at his shop and boy was he right. Geico put my car under special investigation (basically taking away my rental car and trying to prove that I did the damage to my car) and Shawn and the amazing people there let me store my car there while it was under investigation free of charge AND paid for a new rental car, after I had spent hundreds of dollars on Uber's waiting for Geico to go through their fraudulent bullshit (pardon my language). I seriously would've been completely screwed if not for Shawn, Kevin and the team here. They truly take care of you and have the customers best interests in mind. They are fair, kind, hardworking and even though it's fairly far from where I live, I won't hesitate to have my car brought back here (hopefully not due to any accident next time!) THANK YOU. I brought in my Mercedes S63 in after the bumper was smashed in. AW Collision Of Calabasas was great!! Not did they fix the issue in a speedy timeframe but they also touched up the dings and scratches on the rest of the car for no extra cost. Mike also gave me a bottle of touch-up paint and washed the car so it looks like new! AW Collision is a great place to go, especially if you're depressed about that banged up car you're driving around. It's really hard to find a body shop that you can really trust. Lucky me I found one. They took over the headache for me by getting in touch with my insurance company and taking over the claim process. They had rental car pick me up and I just dropped off the car with them. Other places usually have you do some work but not them. My car was ready in less than a week when usually that amount of work takes about 10 business days. They really are perfectionist; went out of their way and took care of some other work that was not even discussed or part of SOW. Let's just say my car looks better than the first day I got it. Did many unnecessary repairs and kept the car way loner than necessary building up the bill. Only reason it got here was because the dealer had a deal with them and we took the slightly damaged car to Santa Monica Honda where we purchased the car and it was close by when the passenger door was damaged in a comprehensive none accident claim. I came here with my 1 week old Honda Fit, as someone had rear ended me in the freeway, all worried about not being able to properly repair my new car and Jose took care of me!
