Honda of Santa Monica uses this shop for all their repairs, and when I needed a new rear bumper they referred me to the AW rep, Jack Manougian, in the dealership's service dept. Jack was great and very attentive and informative during the entire process. He fed me up to the minute info on my repair status and stayed late when the tow truck was delayed in returning my car so I could still pick it up instead of having to wait the next day. He even gave me his cell number so I could catch him at any time if I needed to. Bumper looked phenomenal when it was done. The repair took 4 business days. Pedro Rivera and the team at this body shop thoroughly understand my car, they reliably communicated with me through the whole repair process and they did a tremendous job repairing my car within time constraints. I am very pleased with their work. Moreover, I am very grateful they advocated for me to make sure the responsible party took care of my repairs and car rental for the duration my car was at the shop. It took that party's insurance adjustor nine days after I called to file a claim to return my call and it took her firm 11 days to dispatch an appraiser to sign off on the work. Both times I spoke with the adjustor, she was incredibly unprofessional and uniformed about her firm's coverage. When I recapped these conversations for Pedro, he immediately intervened and assumed responsibility for dialoguing with that adjustor. He then made sure the appraiser accurately represented the extent of the damage in his report to his firm. Thank goodness the damage was not serious enough to compromise my car's safety or viability, but the total cost for the necessary repairs and car rental was quite expensive. When I picked up my repaired car a few days later and nervously asked Pedro if I owed him anything, he assured me he'd seen to it the responsible party's insurance company had paid for everything in full. Brought my car in on a case of a hit and run. Took it straight to where I bought it which was mb of calabasas and was sent to David of AW there. He was extremely professional and gave a step by step on what to expect. The adjuster gave an eta of a month for the damage. I took my accord for an estimate as the other driver requested before going to insurance.The guy that came out with the paperwork, told me that they could not do a paint job on my vehicle because it was a custom paint. I told him that it was not a custom paint, that he could do paint it according to the paint's code, which is located by the driver door. He responded, he was not interested on painting my vehicle. I feel that since the moment he saw me as a young hispanic, he taught, I did not have money to pay and completely ignore me after that (I'm an Architect by the way). So I took my vehicle to Auto Stiegler Body Collision Repair on Reseda where they immediately took over. After I finally got my car back from them the moldings on the car started fall off, so I took the car to a certified mechanic for an inspection and they told me that the car was not repaired correctly. Joel is the man!! He's always easy to reach and has always been there at the hardest times. I drive for lyft and one time I got into an accident - luckily Joel was there because he made the wait so much easier. It was my only source of income, I was stressed out. Any time I asked for an update... boom! An update was sent, by him or by someone else. Any time I need a favor, he says " hey, can you come in this morning?" .... I'm like, "of course!!" Even if he couldn't see me, I wouldn't want be judgmental or opinionated because the man is so sweet and welcoming when you see him. ATLEAST I can feel secure knowing this man takes care of business, and WOULD if he had time. Life gets in the way sometimes, totally understandable. Out of all the 10x I've gone to visit, I truthfully can't recall a day he said no. Worst comes to worst your car is in the shop over night. Ask for Joel, trust that he'll take care of you. So I guess I'm kind of late for writing this review, but it's better to be late than never write it .my sister took my 2015 c class to Calabasas Mercedes to get service done ,AW Collision representative was there at the same time and looked at my car that was damaged a month ago ,while my car was parked and got hit by a hit and run driver ,I know I needed a new quarter panel and bumper ,he wrote an estimate and I decided to go with the estimate and give my car to aw collision to get my car fixed .right after I dropped my car to dealer ,the GM joseph called me and told me they need my car for about 10 days and he was really helpful ,I told him about the other bumper as well and he promised to give me a really good deal that I can afford and fix all at the same time .Every other day got an update about the car and he explained how the process going and ensured me my baby will look awesome .the front office emailed me some pictures and made sure I'm comfortable with the process of the repair .got my car back after 8 days and I couldn't believe it, car looks AMAZING ,they even detailed my car and waxed it.they are like family now .thank you so much .
