Was really hoping to love this spot, but had an awful experience that has left me not wanting to return. I ordered a matcha latte, but was given a tiramisu latte. I kindly let them know I ordered something different and wasn't able to have the tiramisu drink. I said that I can't have anything with coffee in it due to caffeine. (I'm fine with matcha, but can't tolerate coffee based lattes / espresso/ etc). I was told I "should be fine with the caffeine". After reiterating what I said, they told me that they'd double check to see how much caffeine was in it. I had to once again remind them that I had ordered something different entirely (matcha) and they finally agreed to remake it. As I waited, I glanced at the receipt to double check the order was placed correctly and it was. Once I received the matcha, it had several large clumps of powder and it was made with water instead of what I ordered and paid an up charge for (almond milk). I'm not one to leave reviews, but the service and drink were truly a miss. I did provide this feedback directly to the business but did not hear back. read more

Was looking for a new place to work from and stumbled upon this spot. Aware Coffee is located inside of a small plaza with plenty of parking. I arrived around 8am and ordered the Cookie Butter Latte w/oatmilk. It wasn't busy inside at all. I worked there until about 11am, and it started picking up more around that time. The staff are all very friendly and there are so many drink and food options to choose from and a few vegan/non dairy options which I appreciated. It's very spacious on the inside and is the perfect place to work/study. They also have free WiFi which is an added bonus. I will definitely be back when I want to work out the house, and to try some of their food options. read more

I've been coming here for years and usually enjoy the service, but today was very disappointing. This was the first time I received such poor service. I asked the person at the counter about a donut, and he responded in a condescending tone: "It's pistachio, and it's written there." I let it slide and ordered the pistachio donut along with the flan donut, but it turned out not to be pistachio at all -- it was chocolate. That's beside the point, though. When he placed the box by the card reader, he dropped it so carelessly that the flan topping toppled over. As I tried to fix it, he kept rushing me by saying, "Click now to proceed." I told him to wait because I was fixing the box he had just mishandled. He never apologized -- he just stood there watching me struggle to fix and close the box myself without offering any help. I'm usually a generous tipper (18% or more, regardless of the service), but this time I didn't feel the service deserved it. I really hope this was just a one-off experience, because it left a bad impression. read more

My hubby surprised me and or baby with some delicious mochi donuts from here with a strawberry matcha latte for me. They were all ten out of ten for me. My baby loved the pistachio donut so did I! My fave also was the strawberry shortcake donut also and the pumpkin cheesecake i inhaled lol. Definitely stopping here again if we're ever visiting north Las Vegas in th morning time for sure. The restaurant is bright and open. Relatively clean with a chill vibe. Service was kind and patient. Exciting menu without being overwhelming. The sweets look especially tantalizing. Pricing is moderate. The matcha tastes refreshingly earthy and clean. The berry matcha latte is a delight for matcha and non-matcha drinkers alike. My husband doesnt do coffee or matcha and absolutely gushed over it. The Class Act sandwich is packed with food and flavor. We shared it and it was plenty. The berry matcha here is so good and the donuts were tasty as well. It does get very busy and they do sometimes sell out so if you have you heart set on something specific come earlier. They have good food and coffee but I actually don't know if I will visit again. I did not have a good experience with them during the Yelp event last year either.. What I mean is the food is good but the service is still not ok.. The servers were acting like they did not want to work, honestly. They prepared a coffee and put it on the counter, with no name call or the name of the coffee.... after 10 minutes, my boyfriend asked, and they said we don't know, and they asked each other what is inside the cup.... seriously? At the end, they said, "Oh, it might be the honey lavender." Same with my sandwich, the server walked out, swinging the bag and saying what the order is. Luckily, the box is tight and small enough to not mess up with the food. And one more thing, I hope they inform the customer what ingredients the store is missing... it is really not ok informing it after 15 minutes wait time. read more

I went at like 9:30 the ambiance is okay, very generic. The tiramisu iced latte with foam was mediocre at best but the foam saved it so if that's all you like I recommend the drink. My matcha wasn't great but wasn't bad either. We got a pistachio croissant, being the morning and all I expected it to taste fresh and not hard and crusty but I was mistaken. I think for the price you could find somewhere much better. 20 bucks for all of that is just not worth it but in this day in age 10 is the new 20 for some so if that's your cheap go for it. I was craving Aware's delicious mochi donuts so dropped by. I got the hot chocolate, gingerbread and snickerdoodle. The snickerdoodle: unless you SERIOUSLY enjoy cinnamon, I don't recommend it. It had way too much. It needed more of a vanilla or cookie flavor. I didn't enjoy it much. The hot chocolate: it was kind of a let down, it did not taste like hot chocolate. Just chocolate with some mini marshmallows on top. But was better than snickerdoodle. I saved the best for last. The gingerbread was definitely my favorite! It was perfectly flavored to give you the classic gingerbread taste. I do love Aware for their donuts. Everything is great, from their coffee to donuts, even the food is awesome! read more

Pretty Good! Location: Aware coffee is located in a plaza with other businesses. Parking: There is a shared lot for parking with plenty of spaces available. We were able to get a close parking spot on a Saturday morning. Ambiance/Decor: It was very basic. It felt like I was at a pop up coffee shop in a building that may have just been rented for the day. If the vibe is set to be minimalistic, they nailed it. I feel that it is missing the opportunity for branding on both the cups and the shop as whole. Coffee: The coffee was AMAZING! I had the cookie butter latté and I really enjoyed it. Service: Although the barista was super busy with no additional help and we had to wait quite a bit before our order was taken, the service was as good as it could be. Our barista was very friendly and apologized for our wait. Overall: Overall, the coffee was definitely good enough for me to go again. It just feels to me like it needs a more inviting "coffee shop" vibe and they definitely need to have more baristas working on a busy Saturday morning. Maybe warm the place up a bit so it can feel like a cozy coffee shop and definitely more branding needs to be added. It's quite difficult to get great content with there not really being a place to take cute aesthetic photos/videos. We live within walking distance of this Aware location and don't go enough! The Baristas are very professional and highly trained. The coffee and sweets are excellent, plus the atmosphere has a cool vibe. My wife loved the Smoothie! My New Year's resolution will be weekly visits. read more

Yelp Review 2023 #194: This coffee shop has been around for a few years. On Ann and 215 - across the street from Trader Joe's and all the other businesses. They have sandwiches, hot/ iced coffee, iced/ hot tea, milk tea with toppings like boba (available after 10am). But what I appreciate the most is when I stopped in around 9:45am and I wanted a milk tea with boba and they went above and beyond and made it happen! I was ready for a backup plan but I ended up not needing one. I like their Mochi doughnuts. I never got the chance to try their Thai tea Mochi doughnuts - not sure if it's seasonal/ a weekly flavor or what but I know I would've liked it. I've tried their Vietnamese coffee Mochi doughnut, and their matcha Mochi doughnut. Their fluffy, light, slightly chewy and not overly sweet. They have a few chairs and tables. They have Wi-Fi so, it's easy to understand why lots of people hang out here to study. read more

Would not recommend the drinks here. For what they charge u, it all tastes pretty watered down. Not sure what they use for matcha but it's almost reminiscent of earwax. No amount of sugar can fix that. Would rather have starbucks' diabetes mess than that. Haven't tried the food but my friend said she got a small, sad, soggy sandwich for, again, an insane price. Returned for a visit today and was so happy with everything. I got the summer drink Passion Fruit Mint Spritzer and it was so refreshing. It had a ton of fresh mint and was absolutely perfect for a hot summer day! I got the But Make It Balsamic, which is one of my favorite things to get. It has such a generous portion of avocado and it's balanced with tomatoes, caramelized onions and balsamic of course. Delicious each and every time. I enjoyed an absolute stunner with the iced Mint Mocha Latte. You're taking a gamble with mint syrups bc at some coffee shops they're downright gross. As soon as I took my first sip, I happily exclaimed "oh, this is the best mint flavor!" Came here around 10AM on a Monday. It was nice to see the lobby full of people. So my family & I ate outside at the patio area. From what I could tell the inside was nice & clean, very modern cafe style. Our bill was $22 & we ordered the avocado toast, berry matcha latte & the dirt mochi donut. Sadly only the mochi donut was good & the side salad with lemon honey ginger dressing. I thought the berry matcha latte was watery. The bread under the avocado was over toasted that it was crunchy & tough to eat. The avocado spread itself was bland too. Not oppose to coming back & maybe trying sometime else. Came by this morning for a Yelp event but this was not my first visit. My last few encounters were mediocre, not due to the service or quality in coffee but because I did not know how to order coffee. I have since developed my palate, not entirely a coffee connoisseur but I have learned how to order coffee. I ordered a regular hot bourbon vanilla breve, my wife ordered a season drink and we topped off our ordered with a spiced apple mochi donut. We enjoyed the mochi donut, the chewy texture is the best! I really liked my coffee, it was not as sweet but too much sweetness pulls from the "coffee" taste.. which I sometimes prefer because I'm addicted to sugar. read more

Got a flat white that had spoiled milk and was possibly the worst drink I've ever had. The almond croissant was just bad. Seemed old and stale. The brioche chocolate donut was too sweet for me and couldn't enjoy. On top of everything being underwhelming and disappointing I got extremely sick.
