It's literally located inside of their production facility, where industrial sewists are working hard to create these resilient bags. As an amateur bagmaker myself, I can see the work, thought, and details that are put into each bag. And while their prices are high, the craftsmanship is worth it. They use extremely quality materials, and add extra touches that make these bags perfect for travel. For example, many of the bags have a brightly colored interior so things are easier to find. Thoughtful pockets abound, too - from water bottle pockets to tiny spots to slip your passport or other important documents. I'm excited to report that I finally dove in and bought my first Tom Bihn (a cafe bag for my upcoming vacay) - the hardest part was choosing a color, as there were so many options available. Can't wait to use my new bag, and I'll 100% be back again (or maybe online) to get a companion piece as budget allows. If you're into bags, this is a cool place to visit. Heads up: due to the shop being open to the factory floor, masks are required in this store so be sure to bring one along.

Not only did the staff immediately identify the brand and age of the bag when we brought it in but they were able to repair a tear in the fabric that looked like it might be the end for this piece. Turn around time on the repair was quick, and the quality of the fix is beyond what I ever expected. I couldn't be happier with the job they did, and I'm looking forward to many more trips with this piece of luggage!

When we dropped our bags off, she yelled over and told us that she can't carry the bags herself and we needed to help her bring the bags to the area they store it. Mind you, not once did she inform us of this when we were checking our bags in. It wouldn't have been a problem- just ask for help. Not yell it. When we returned to pick up our bags, I was taking off the paper tags. I put one on the shelf as I proceeded to remove another. She rushed over, grabbed the old tag and said "this is NOT a trash can!" then stormed off, turned around and then yelled "now do you have more trash??" It was absurd. Will never use them again. There are other luggage storage services in the area.

The sales associate behind the counter stood there saying nothing and not moving. My friend and I walked around a bit, it isn't a huge store, and another person came in and left without saying anything or having anything said to him. The sales associate just stood there. I went to a bag and started to look at it and as if a switch had been flipped the sales associate sprung into action. He walked over and offered to show me the bag's features. He walked me through a CC Filson chore jacket and over the years he was a go to in anything Filson related. Jeremiah was also a go to for my winter needs. The knowledge of the craftsmanship and durability is unparalleled. Every staff that I chatted with including at the outlet are passionate and knowledgeable. It's nice to hear that many staff have put their clothing through the wringer and can share the story of the garment aged. Value, is paying for quality. I am friends with the Freeman owners and it made me happy to see the collaboration. I will have to say that the Filson brand is unfailing. It's unfortunate that Eddie Bauer and other outdoor brands just don't match. I wish post pandemic that many of the products weren't outsourced. I get it. Quality wise Filson is one of the best out there if not the best.

However, the staff here really knows the inner workings and little details about the bags that you didn't know you wanted to know. It's great! On top of that, while the service is great, it isn't super salesy. I just felt like I was learning about the bag or luggage I was looking at. Lastly, while there is a security guard up front, he doesn't make customers feel uneasy or uncomfortable looking around, touching things, and shopping. I barely noticed he was there besides the hello and goodbye that were said. There are a few high-end shops around that don't get this balance right, and it's a shame.

Then, the storekeeper came up to me, and said, rather loudly "I don't need kids like you leaving nasty messages on my notepad!" She then asked me to leave the store. I left, and I'll never be back again, and highly recommend avoiding this business. I realize that I fit the description of most teenage troublemakers, but I'm not. We stopped by recently and it's still cool to see such a big location. It has multiple levels and filled to the brim with gear for hiking, running, cycling, and camping. Outside of the store, there's a little trail they've set up for you to test out bikes; not sure if they let you do that with hiking boots, too. Since it's Seattle, you can find more than a few items that feature BigFoot on them. Service is always terrific and I like the fact that they have such a generous return policy in place if you're not satisfied with your purchase (for members on eligible items. it's within 1 year of purchase, even if gently used).
