My experience here was okay. Not horrible but not amazing. Waited like 15 min to be seated. The waitress did provide really good service, she was really nice and kept checking in. But when I got my food the fries were sort of cold already. Also my boyfriend got fries and chicken tenders & he was upset that his fries were way too soft, not one fry was crispy, they were too undercooked for him. The only reason I didn't give it one star is because I understand they may have limit resources during Covid. I ordered a buffalo chicken pizza. I thought that since the pizza had buffalo, I'd order a different flavor for the wings: Tennessee Hot and *SPICY* Honey BBQ. The pizza had a huge layer of THICK cheese. Although I'm sure there was buffalo sauce, the flavor was completely lost in the cheese. I'm definitely going to be constipated due to that cheese and I only had one slice (they cuz it uneven so it was a big slice). The BBQ wings were NOT spicy. And the cheese ball were not as good as they use to be. I didn't get the cheese until the end because it was all packed in the area my fingers were holding. I use to live near here and when my family wanted to treat ourselves, we'd order from here. It always held a fond memories in my mind. But nothing tastes as good. It's all worse. They should really change the name, because that's the only way they could get three stars from me. The name gives people expectations, had this been a new restaurant with a different name, I wouldn't have compared it to how it use to be. Lastly, I lost my appetite early in the meal. Arrived at 9:45pm and reserved for a party of four. The hostess told me that there was no estimated wait time because one of their workers left. While waiting my friend said he's bringing someone, so I went to change my reservation to a party of five. I was told that there's only two booths that accommodate groups of five or more. Our wait time would be extended or we could try squeezing the five of us into the regular booth. We decided to stick with the regular booth. We waited for an hour to be seated. The food here is a little over priced. 35 wings was $50, but it did come with two sides. We picked fries and onion rings. The BBQ wings were our favorite. 12 inch pizza was about $11. The pizza tasted good and they put a lot of cheese. I was disappointed that nobody came to refill my drink. I understand that they were a staff member short, but it was approaching closing time and costumers we're leaving so they could of gave me a refill. Especially when the drinks are advertised as bottomless. After we were done eating the waitress gave us our check. It took another fifteen minutes for her to pick us the check. I asked her for a refill and she forgot it when she came back with the change. I reminded her and she brought me my drink. Overall food was good service was super slow. we never have a bad experience here! i live in San Bernardino but we don't mind making the drive out here. 10/10 recommend the chile lime bone in wings! If you like buffalo sauce i'd also recommend the This Thing of Ours Pizza! Tonight our server was Sheron and they were great! Super attentive and quick when we asked for things. Food is always great. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Only thing that was blah was the service. At first, we talked to some guy that was so sweet and accommodating and very professional (I wish I remembered his name) if you worked on April 1st around 2:00 pm, thank you we wish you were out server. Instead we got melody. She was ok but when we asked her what kind of beers they had besides what was listed, her exact words were "we have more than what's on there but you have to go look at them inside" (we were outside) I mean, what's the point of tipping a server if they won't even bother to tell you what drinks they have ? I used to work there and I mean come on, it's part of your job. To top it all off, when it came time for the bill, she didn't even want to split it more than 2 ways. Like girl come on. It's slow and you have more than enough Time to split the checks. After all that we still left 20%. This used to be one of my favorite places but after last night I don't know if I'll be coming back for PIZZA anymore. I ordered a pesto pasta & a 16" pepperoni pizza. The pizza had the thinnest dough I've ever came across, had a bunch of seasoning on only 1 slice of pizza , it smelled nasty and to top it off it was cold. At first I thought it was the ranch tht was rancid but no it was the pizza. I dont know how or why we have never tried this place before but I'm so glad we did finally! It didn't take long to get seated. They have a nice menu with a large variety. They showed us the Happy Hour items and pricing. We tried the Lemon Pepper and Korean bbq Hot Wings~they were excellent! Juicy, crispy and sauces were great although Korean Bbq was too hot for my Mamacita. We also split the ceasar salad with shrimp. Shrimp tasted grilled and were plump and perfectly cooked. I love Alondras, l've lived in montebello for 15 years and I still keep coming back for their lime chili wings. Today decided to try something different off the menu as it is a rainy day. I ordered a grilled cheese with bacon and it comes with a tomato soup. Grilled cheese was fine, but the soup was very thick, I honestly believe they just put marinara sauce they use for pasta or cheese balls in a bowl. They need to redo their tomato soup. We were a party of 4 adults & one toddler. We got seated at one table with just 4 chairs inside. The place is so narrow & small. While we waited for another chair or booster seat we got offered to sit outside, we were told it was a bench that had more space on their patio. We agreed thinking it would be better, the patio extension was on the street, no shade for the sun, and super squeaky wobbly table & benches. I think the place is changing it's name, they no longer will be alondras? We always go to alondras in Alhambra so we thought it would be the same thing & nope the menu is different at this location, no bar, no mixed drinks. I was so disappointed thinking it was going to be the exact same as the Alhambra location. Food was ok, waiters could of been on it. We ordered at the same time to avoid delay. We ordered. Two gatorades, an individual sausage pizza and a ny pastrami sandwich with pickles on the side and upgrade the fries to lemon pepper. After a long wait we were given the fries in a bowl. The sausage pizza and a pastrami pizza with pickles on the side. Our already long wait took longer to have the pastrami remade. At the end of it. I was over it. Everything took forever. The refills the correction of our food. And at the end we were still being charged $35 for the pizza we didn't order or eat! And $12 for the bowl of fries that we didn't order. We had never been to this place and will never be going back. First impressions are everything; this place place really failed at it. Service: My waitress was just clueless and non attentive. Our place setting was missing, we didn't have napkins, my fork was dirty, we sat for awhile without getting drinks, and other workers around her were reminding her to check her tables. BUT another gentlemen waiter took very good care of us so 50/50 on service. Food: The wings were slightly overcooked and the X-Hot flavor tasted like Franks Red Hot sauce. The seasoned fries weren't that great and they weren't cheap either. (Biggest let down). The Alfredo chicken pasta was very good the half order was pretty decent size.
