AWSOM Wings is my favorite wing spot to go to. Their wings are always so fresh and they have never gotten my order wrong! As some may know this is key if you're a wings lover like I am (having your order perfect each and every single time ) the last time I came what I ordered was a perfect combination for my cravings but today I couldn't remember exactly what all I got... I wanted to recreate that moment so when I called, I spoke to a nice young lady named Alonna who was able to pull up my past orders with just my phone number. I thought it was crazy AWSOM because I never knew they were capable of doing so. Alonna helped me get my perfect order which consists of 16 wings (half atomic/half spicy bbq, with two sides of atomic, extra wet, a large blue cheese, and a side Caesar salad for good measure lol) and yessss I love the atomic because as a wing lover you can only imagine at this point of eating hot wings for years what my palate can handle anywho head to Whittier for some AWSOM wings and ask for Alonna she was super sweet and helpful !!! read more

Came by tonight to get takeout dinner and try Alondra's for the first time. Waited about 10 minutes standing infront of the receiving stand until someone talked to us. We went to the cashier to order takeout and the cashier assisted someone else first even though we were there first because they were only picking up. That took another 15 minutes. Finally got to order, got our order in about 25 minutes, and went home. The fact that it took us 50 minutes just to take something out was pretty ridiculous, but it happens. When we got home, which was a 10 minute drive, the fries were already soggy. The jalapeno poppers were stale. The mild chicken wings were really plain. The onion rings were okay. The honey bbq wings were okay. The only forgivable thing we ordered was the philly cheesesteak. And they only gave us 1 ranch for everything ordered. Sorry, Buffalo Wild Wings, I have betrayed you. If I could give AWSOM Wings more than 5 stars, I totally would! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the warmest smile from Alanna, the hostess. On this day 04/19/2020, I ordered pizza and wings then called back for additional pizza and wings because family was hungry and wanted a taste of something good as is Alondra's. The staff, which was comprised of maybe four or five employees due to covid, was exceptional. They got the order right the first time and the homie JOE was helpful and friendly, shout out to the cooks and anyone else involved in the operation. Pick up went without a glitch. I have been a huge fan of Alondra hot wings for years! We used to love going there for the delicious wings, pizza and the deep fried twinkies. The last time i went though unfortunately changed my mind completely! Their wait was very lengthy but we decided to continue waiting because we love the food so much. Once we were seated we waited another while for our orders to be taken, long story short they took long for our food to come out, the service was bad, our order was messed up. Plain and simple. I never got to the food but customer service is the worst there. Waited almost an hour before i decided to get up and leave. Last time I visited a couple of years ago they had some really good maple flavored wings that are no longer on the menu, which is a damn shame. But all in all, great food and service! While there is plenty of seating and I often see people dining in, I usually take my food to go. The service has always been pretty straightforward. Most of the employees taking orders tend to be serious and not overly chatty. It hasn't always been the friendliest service, but honestly, I don't come here for conversation, I come for the food. The chicken teriyaki plate is my go-to order, and you really can't go wrong with it, especially if you add avocado. The portions are solid, the food is consistently good, and everything tastes fresh. Overall, this is a great local spot when you're craving teriyaki. Nothing overly fancy, just dependable food that keeps me coming back year after year.

I could smell the delicious chicken and teriyaki smell from outside. For me I wanted to try the Teriyaki Chicken snd Tofu with brown rice. My teriyaki bowl ended up being like 20+ dollars so I kinda feel it's a bit expensive. They have different sizes so I ended up getting the biggest one. I see a lot of people just ordering the largest one too. So the basic bowl is just rice and chicken or a protein. If you wanted to add veggies, it's a charge. Most teriyaki places would charge like 1-2 dollars to add veggies. I was charged like 5 dollars ish for veggies. I'm not sure if that's because I ordered a large bowl. The food did taste good, the veggies tasted fresh, the teriyaki chicken had a real good char flavor to it and the sauce is good. I wish they had real sauce containers for their teriyaki sauce because they give you it in a sriracha bottle which looks old and a bit dirty. It's not a full service sit down restaurant so there isn't much of a service. You go up to the counter and you pick up the food yourself. Any napkins or utensils you have to ask them for it. None of that stuff is on the table. You also have to bus your own tray. Overall, it's a bit on the pricey side but it taste good. Their teriyaki sauce is really good and it's not too sweet or salty. Would recommend trying it out.

Ive seen this place passing by all the time but boy do I regret never eating here, the service is…read morevery nice and quick, no joke I got my food in a few minutes and it was nice and hot, the fries were well seasoned and I absolutely scarfed down my burger. I WILL be going again, the inside area is very clean and nice with lots of condiments for your meal. I cant say enough good things about this place!
