The place was empty for awhile until another group came in. I felt like it was really pricey at essentially $35/per person for an hour- over $100 for 3 of us. The venue has a ton of interactive axe throwing challenges to try with your group, so there was never a dull moment. We ended up having a blast and already want to go back. We were definitely a little jealous of the group of girls who booked the rage room and were smashing TVs while we watched. That is officially on our list for next time. I have been axe-throwing before, and it came with an instructor who went over safety, showed you how to throw, and made sure everyone was comfortable before starting. The guy working legit showed us how to use the mouse and keyboard to play the digital games projected on the wood, so we could throw. He also threw one axe and said good luck. It was very odd, and the two guys working sat on another couch and played their own music. Our group made the best of it, but we could have set this up in our backyard; it was not impressive. The axes were perfectly fine, but the boards had more wear than I'd expect, especially for the price ($60 for 2 for an hour). It was near impossible to have enough wood for the axe to stick in near the bullseye. The staff woman working was incredibly nice, super attentive and helpful. She was the true highlight of the facility. Honestly, super fun way to spend a Saturday date night and easy to basically walk in without planning ahead.

There were scattered games, such as Jenga and Connect 4. We ordered the Blue Cactus and Old Fashion. The Blue Cactus was sweet, and if you weren't careful, it'd be easy to quickly drink. The Old Fashion wasn't anything special, just your typical old fashioned. On to axe throwing, the space where you axe throw was well lit, and we appreciated the guy who worked there, coming by to show us how to axe throw since it was our first time! There are chalkboards to keep track of your score. Just remember that the drinks can't be kept in the area where you axe throw, which I wish was better communicated to us. Overall, the Groupon was a great deal. We had some issues scheduling a time, so I had to email a contact there to have a time reserved. We were pretty surprised to see how few people were there on a Friday night, so it was pretty easy to play the different games scattered in the main room. There were also a few cute places for photo-ops.
