These movers shattered our $2000 new cb2 mirror. And broke our tv legs. When we confronted whoever was available (maybe owner, maybe manager) about it after speaking with the mover, he basically said we would be lucky to get $100 resell for our mirror. That again, is new and still just under $2000. He then proceeded to block us after being EXTREMELY rude. Proceed with complete caution. We also called asking to speak with an owner or manager and got hung up on. There's other reviews on sites mentioning how insane the owner is and how he cusses people out. Axis was great! They were easy to schedule with and had constant communication leading up to the move day. The movers were quick and professional. I was very appreciative of how efficient they were. I had 2 stops to make - the place I was moving and a storage unit. They had no problem doing both. They also played tetris and made all my things fit into a tiny storage unit. The owner is often rude. I had two moves with them that went well, so I decided to overlook the attitude and stick with the company for a third move. Extremely unprofessional service from the owner that day. I had my move scheduled for a specific time. I missed a call from an unknown number TWO HOURS prior to that time, while I was finishing up last minute packing. 10-15 ish minutes later, I have a text from the owner saying that they have to cancel last minute, because their first job was finished early and the workers "don't want to wait around." Luckily I quickly called the movers, who "agreed" to still move me as originally planned (?). Very confusing and stressful. read more

Nick, Chris and Nathan did a superb job moving our household goods into Pods today! I booked with Ed two weeks ago and was able to get exactly the time I requested, even on a Sunday afternoon, at an amazing price. The guys were held up by about 30 minutes on their previous job, but Ed let me know in good time, also sending 3 movers so they would get the job done; and Nick the team captain contacted me separately with their ETA which was so helpful. The team were helpful, pleasant, polite, communicative and efficient throughout, proven by the fantastic results: an entire 4-bed home carefully and cleverly loaded into 2 pods in 2 hours!! Jacob and Chris were right on time to unload my 6 x 12 trailer up to my third floor apartment. They were courteous and finished the job in under 2 hours. Needless to say, if I need help in the future I would not hesitate to call these guys. BTW, it also helps if you have your trailer properly packed for loading and unloading. When my previous movers fell through at the 11th hour, I poured through Yelp reviews and came upon Axis Moving (AZ Student Movers). I called Ed who was informative, prompt, understanding and helpful. The quote he gave me was spot on and super affordable for what we were getting. We had a unique situation of only needing loading of all of our things into PODS we had in our driveway and then unloading them the next day at the new house. We're not spring chickens anymore and wanted to remain on speaking terms with our kids and all their friends. The team of 3 guys showed up on time, in good humor, allowed me to walk them through the house for a once-over and then they got to work. They put up with my initial grouchiness. Then we all had a donut and things progressed much more smoothly. The team was respectful and careful with our things, efficient and kind. And they are Tetris PROS!! We really enjoyed our two days spent with these young men. Thanks to Ed and the whole team. I hope we never need you again. Hahahaha. read more

Scheduling the move was very easy online and they returned my messages within a few minutes even late at night. After scheduling the move, they confirmed my appt 2 days before the move. Michael and Erik arrived earlier than scheduled. They worked continuously without a break for the entire six hours it took for the move. They were courteous and made sure all the furniture was put back together correctly. I was also contacted after the move to follow-up and check how the move went. I was able to pay by zelle so you're not giving out your credit card to anyone. Definitely thumbs up. I would recommend them highly. Great job! read more

Axis Moving (or formerly AZ Student Movers) recently helped us relocate (locally, in the Valley) and did a FANTASTIC job. When I initially started to shop around for quotes, I encountered several VERY different approaches to this service. Many were super pushy, or preoccupied with all the things that are NOT included, that will / can cost extra etc. etc. And their hourly rates were higher too! So, not only did Axis have the best "Per Hour" rate, but the initial email exchange with Ed was professional, courteous and not pushy at all. I explained that we have a 2 story, 4 BR home, and we're moving to a 1 story across town. He estimated 5-6 hours with a crew of 3. Sure enough, when moving day came, 3 young guys showed up (even texted me because the are were running 15 minutes late) and then got to work ASAP. These guys moved at an impressive clip, but were careful with all our belongings. When they had questions / concerns, they asked, and when they could offer extra help, they did. It ended up being 2x trips, but it barely went over the 6 hour estimate. I'd recommend this company for any move you have coming up. No gimmicks, not apps to download, on-line quote surveys to fill out or pushy sales guys. Just a good service or a fair cost. read more
