Now let's talk about how I came to know of Pin Point Bowling Concepts (PPBC) located inside Bowlero Montebello... I recently started bowling at the Alhambra Valley Bowl. I wanted to either get a new bowling ball or have my 30+ year old bowling ball refitted. I inquired with Joe who works there if he knows of any good bowling pro shop. He recommended Roger who is the owner of PPBC. Thank you Joe for the great recommend! I arrived here an hour before closing time on a weekday. Parking was easy. They are located to the right of the arcade. Just walk through the small hallway and open the door. Btw, you cannot enter the shop from the outside even though there is a door there. Please enter shop from inside the bowling alley. Shop was cozy, comfortable, clean, and organized. Upon entry, Roger and Jairo gave me a wonderful and warm welcome. Both were super friendly and nice. Thank you! Roger is very knowledgeable. He is an expert in anything bowling from A to Z. He said my bowling ball is still in good condition and since I'm only bowling socially at this time, I should just get it refitted. He took the time and patience to explain why a refit was necessary after so many years. He also shared with me some tips on cleaning and fixing my bowling shoes. Thank you Roger for your insightful expertise and super helpful tips! He got my measurements for span and pitch that day. Price to refit was very reasonable. My bowling ball was ready for pick-up in 3 days. On pick-up day, my eyes widened with sparkle when I saw my shiny bowling ball as if it was brand new. Cool! Roger made sure my thumb inserts fit perfectly not too tight and not too loose. My thumb hole was slightly loose so he added some tape. I've never bowled with tape in my thumb hole so it was something new to try. I also bought a cute shirt and shoe covers to support PPBC. I really enjoyed the staff's attitude and the field itself (maybe the field had way too many…read morecorners? it was hard to move anywhere at times) Staff had a good attitude when it came to safety. But safety lacked a lot when it came to BB weight and rechrono. There was clearly a guy using a Black TM Hi Capa with overweight BBs and higher FPS I know this because none of the other shots from any other players gave me any bleeding injuries other than that one guy and another HPA guy. For the HPA guy, it's clear that he turned up his FPS after some time since he also gave me bleeders. There were also some people shooting through and running through the Red Dead Zone and the ref didn't even catch that until I pointed it out. There should really be 2 refs on the field at one time. It feels like BB weight should be pointed out on the websites rules and stricter regulations should be taken against tinkering with your gun after getting chrono, especially for HPA systems. EDIT response to owner: Some places will zip tie the valve/adjustment knobs such that players wouldn't be able to adjust the pressure of the HPA after chrono. The player in question was using a pistol that looked very similar to a paintball gun, except without the feeding tray on top. The gun had an HPA tank attached to the bottom and could be used like a stock. As mentioned in the main part of my review, my and my friends only ever had bruises that bled when shot by this one HPA player and the player with the Hi Capa.

TLDR: They served us a drink that they didn't charge us for, to catch us sharing the drink…read more(everyone above age) and then proceeded to kick us out without giving us our wings. My girlfriend wanted a drink but forgot her ID in the car so we had our friend use her ID for the drink (gf is 25 btw). The waitress was sus about it and had the security watch us when we got the drink. Mind you, they didn't charge the drink but brought it to us to catch us? And my friend also had ordered wings that were charged. Then manager jeff walks up to say "GOTCHA". Kicked us out 30min before the end of our time and refused to refund or give us the wings we paid for. What if we had been underage? Manager jeff would have given us a drink we were never charged for. Why is he handing out drinks as traps? WE WANT OUR WINGS!
