As a newbie who was totally clueless, I really appreciated how friendly and patient he was while walking me through the basics of bowling balls. At our first appointment, we sat down for a fitting, got my fingers measured, and figured out which ball made the most sense for me. I came back a week later to pick it up and it was a perfect fit. I was looking for a Bowling bowl for a first time player nothing fancy just something simple. I don't wanna get pressured into buying an expensive ball or anything like that and I came upon Ed's shop on yelp, read a couple of the reviews and really liked. He seems very legit, he called me back and I set up an appointment. he only takes clients by appointments and cash only, which is understandable. When I met Ed, he was such a nice guy, made me feel comfortable and took his time and explain about what I need as the first time bowler.. First of all he demands to call. Then he says I can text but then when you do he tells you to call. And when I did move so many things around and call during the window he demands, he wouldn't answer, then told me to call back when he did answer. Not everyone has privilege to call whenever they want. And I have trauma from call center customer service work so every time it took 4-6 hours for anxiety relief meditations. He shouldn't have to know that to respect the basic morality. Also he says he is busy but on the phone he lectures about the same thing over and over and over and shows off. And when you try to ask question with comprehending what he already said, he thinks you are still talking about something way more surface. He says things like he turns people down, but so what? That doesn't mean he can just disrespect and be arrogant. Why would I have to pay money to be humiliated and also basically do hostess work for free for his ego? So I gave up after 3 times of trying to make an appointment. I just hung up because I felt like I have to pull my hair the continued any longer. No matter how good he might be at what he does, the disrespect, patronizing and arrogant harassment are never worth it especially when I'm the customer that has to pay money. How he treated me even just on the phone made me need to go to therapy session out of pocket. How insane and absurd. read more

Ed has a nice pro shop in the back of his house and he runs a very professional business. He measured my friend's fingers and we returned a week later and picked up the ball.
