I tried this place out today and would like to say that I am extremely pleased with their Service! I've tried 2 other places in the last 2 months off S. Tryon that I didn't have great experiences with from a nail quality perspective. I was able to book an Appt the day before. My wait time was minimal and while awaiting the Tech I scheduled with who was Kim, one of her colleagues was able to get me started to take my existing SNS powder dip color off. Their variety of Gel and SNS colors is overwhelming in a great way, so much to choose from. All the staff was very pleasant and the music playing overhead was upbeat. I had a request for a shape change from slightly square-ish to almond and Kim did it just to my liking! She also recommended a little glitter accent for the holidays and it came out great. This place books up fast from the people calling trying to get in on the same day with a specific Nail Tech, so I definitely recommend making an appointment. They use Vagaro scheduling on their website which is extremely user friendly. I will be a return customer!

Clumpy, uneven color. Just awful! I'll never go back.

I haven't written a bad review in years, but here I am! First off I made my appointment at 1 in the afternoon and only two women were working. I had to wait a while and actually started to look at other salons which looking back I wish I had gone to another salon. I came with a Gel-X set on my hands and wanted them off and a gel manicure. Simple right? At this place - NO! Firstly one girl swear I had acrylic I said no it's Gel-X and I know the difference. I've been getting it for years. So after waiting for some time one girl began working on me. I had to tell her to cut the Gel-X down instead of filing so much, like acrylic. Then I asked to soak me instead of her trying to file my nails down so much it hurt. After I spoke about this she walked away and exchanged words with the other woman working. I didn't bother to learn any names as I didn't tip (I always do) and knew I was never coming back here. The second woman took over my gel "manicure" which looked awful as the end result. I mean the color was all lumpy and uneven because she DIDN'T buff my nails. Which she claimed isn't part of the manicure. I've gotten so many manicures in the past and buffing the nail was done EVERY SINGLE TIME. I was annoyed at this point because what do you think makes the color apply smoothly?!?! So she buffed them AFTER I complained and my nails still look trash. I'm taking this off ASAP. I mean both women were just completely incompetent. Don't go here. I paid $32, wasted 2 hours of my time and I'll never return. No pros about this place. Only cons.

I found this place bc it was up the street. My first visit for pedi was a NO bc they had a older lady who couldn't hear or understand me what a terrible choice to make her work. The nail tech was kind but my nails became unhealthy. Also, this place does not clean and that how infection start. Ewwww

When I saw the Yelp reviews for Arysley nail bar, I knew I had to try it for the beach wedding I'm in this weekend. I was NOT disappointed. My nail tech took her TIME, paid great attention to detail, & even worked a bit past closing. I could not be more pleased with the final results and will definitely be going back here again. 10/10 would recommend!

I have been on a search for an amazing nail shop for what seems like forever. This is it, y'all. Seriously. This is it! It's convenient to my house. The staff are pleasant, talented and punctual. The prices are incredibly reasonable. The hours are great. They have beverages (water, white and red wine). There are multiple televisions. I can't say enough good things! The first time I came in, I made an appointment with Ny. When I tell you that she did an amazing job, I am not kidding. I left on cloud 9. She worked on me for maybe an hour and a half at the most and my nails looked fantastic. I couldn't stop staring at them! (The first pic is before they were all the way cleaned up. I was so excited, I took it early. lol) The second time, I bruised one of my nails and I had to make a quick appointment to be seen because it was so painful! I had a limited time window because of some prior engagements, so I checked online and saw that Kim was available, so I booked with her this time. She got me totally together on the Christmas tip! Freehand designs, sparkles and snowflakes? Yes, please! (The second pic? Gaaaaaah. Can you feel the holiday spirit right now? Can you feel it?) I am telling you, I am so glad I took the advice from my younger cousin and gave this place a shot. I love it so much. Highly recommend it.

I have been extremely pleased with my services at ANB. I schedule appointments and the tech is available for me, they have a huge selection for SNS & gel, and the environment is friendly & upbeat. I have never been to a nail shop that my SNS not only lasted longer than 2 weeks, but my natural nails are still strong and healthy (Thanks Ny!) I recommend this place to anyone that wants quality services. 2-13-19 Although I have enjoyed this place for over a year, they have become outrageous with prices. I was charged for nail polish color. I was confused because I assumed that POLISH was included with a fill-in. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. They are getting over on people. I recommend that they increase their prices instead of charging for the services that should be included.

We were in town recently for a Birthday celebration and had an appointment to check out Ayrsley Nail Bar. We arrived on time at noon but our manicures did not start until 12:30. Our party getting manicures did get to sit together but it was very cramped. Personally my experience was the best out of the three which I was thankful for, shout out to Kim. One of my friends got a tiny cut on the finger, blame the hang nail we were told, and the other friend got a mediocre paint job. Out of all 3 of us, the nail filing experience was just okay. Would I come back here again? No, not for the price. I did think that it was a very trendy place though.

I called and was told to come on in. I Walked in and was greeted immediately. Plenty of SNS dip colors to choose from. Several designs and Kim explained the costs and made suggestions as well. I was spoken to during my visit. The TV had closed captioning so I was able to keep up with what was going on. My questions were answered as far as additional services in a timely & friendly manner. Wine. Soft drinks. Bottled water. Complimentary with your service. Follow up appointment time was suggested. Love my nails.

Let me start off with this place was awesome! They had Great customer service. When I couldn't figure out what color I wanted they went out of their way to go through a couple with me and was very patient with me. I chose SNS and the shape coffin. They are very natural looking and perfect in shape. Kim was amazing, and so was the gentleman at the front that answered my phone calls. I will be coming back!

Ombré SNS manicure... way more trouble than it was worth and started peeling a week later :(

I love to get pampered just like any other gal, and Ayrsley is my favorite place even though they don't do the best job with my fingernails. The inside is cozy and nicely decorated. They are clean and always use liners in their pedicure baths. They offer you free refreshments, wine, beer, soda, water which is a nice bonus while waiting and getting mani/pedis. Every time I get a pedicure here, it's amazing. My favorite part is the massage and they always spend extra time massaging. So pedis and free alcohol are my favorite parts. I'm very picky about how my fingernails look, and usually I have to fix the shape a little. But the real negative is the gel and SNS always seem to peel really early on. When you're paying $50 for SNS, it needs to last longer than a week.

One of the best nail salons in Charlotte and one of the best I've ever been to. I'm sad I found this salon right before I moved to Atlanta but I always squeeze in an appointment when I come back to visit my Mom. It's like a tradition now. I always get a pedicure and a SNS manicure on my natural nails. My mom LOVES the hot stone pedicure.

I was impressed at how my nails came out, however, I was turned off by the lack of transparency they have. Just a heads up there is a $10 extra charge for cuticle clipping (it's considered a manicure) and if there is any lifting of the nails from previous acrylic then it's an extra $5... In total I ended up paying $33 instead of the $18 for a fill-in. Ny did an amazing job on my gel manicure today. She took her time and went above and beyond of what I asked. Everyone there was super sweet, the lady who did my toes did an amazing job as well, $26 for a pedicure, you can't beat that!! Be sure to call and make a reservation they get pretty busy. The place is cute. From the reviews I can tell it's busy on the regular. Having made my apt last min before an event I have tmrw I understand maybe I didn't get put with the best technician available.... with that being said..... she didn't do horrible..... but I have high expectations because I've been having my nails done consistently every other week (literally) for 5 years. I take pride in having my nails look fresh and perfect every day.... if it weren't for my last nail lady of 2 years moving away (*tears*) I would be set, no worries, just perfect nails. Looks like I'm back to square one trying to find a perfectionist technician like my last beloved tech... The girl today, whose name I won't disclose... she did okay, I tried to fix the shape with the file, which I think irritated her ‍ .....and even with my help they just aren't the best..... so hopefully next time I can get an apt with the best technician in the salon, so it can save frustration for me and someone a bit subpar *** update: the past 2 appointments I've made I've had to wait 10-15 mins past my appointment time. The situation being in the time before my appointment the technician gets put on a walk in.... if there isn't adequate time to get a walk in done prior to a set appointment time... the technician should not take the walk in and make the appointment wait.... or at least call me and tell me so I'm not sitting here wasting time I could be doing something else **** read more

I travel a ton and mostly get my nails done while I'm on the road. So this is the 12349 place I've been in to get serviced. Hands down one of the best experiences. When you walk in, you're greeted! I don't know about y'all, but I often walk out of nail salons because I'm not greeted... So greeted with a smile was huge! They actually talked to me and didn't solely talk to e/o in a language I don't understand. The conversations were good, their heart pure, and they have wine.... the overall ambiance was just the bomb! My gel nails look amazing and toes do too. I'm relaxed as they took their time with massages, Etc....I highly recommend this place if you're looking for quality service that's quick and with a smile! I've never felt this awesome leaving a nail salon. I'll travel back to Charlotte just to get my nails done!! ASK FOR LANA (a beast with the feet) AND/OR NY (total pioneer with the gel manis) !! This is my second review for this establishment. I went 2 years ago and I received excellent service and the finished result was wonderful. Since I'm seeking a new permanent nail bar I decided to give them another try. A person by the name of Jenny did my nails. Although the pedicure was decent my gel looks like clumps of polish on my nails. The filing shape is crooked and I'm still trying to remove excess polish from my skin. I would've complained at the time of service but the cuticle oil gave an illusion of a well polished nail. Upon careful inspection when I got home I'm highly disappointed. I'm not sure if she's just starting out or if she was so caught up conversing with her colleague about her trip in June that she just wasn't able to properly execute. Either way I'm stuck with this mess on my nails. read more

This might have been the coolest most urban modern nail salon I have ever been too. All the people there speak perfect English and are really friendly and keep you quite entertained. The woman who did my nails was Nini. She was FANTASTIC. I had never met someone so into the costumers like she was. After talking to her I felt like I had known her my whole life. Make an appointment before hand because that place is rockin and you never know how long you need to wait for amazing nails. I have been to many nail places before, mainly for my acrylics. This place hands down had the best acrylic yet. They were so sturdy and tough not one nail fell off. 10/10 would recommend. Thanks Nini! read more

I usually don't enjoy nail bars as I think they rush you in and out, but Arsley Nail bar is an exception. The facility has always been clean and the staff is very friendly. I've had gel powder, gel manicure and the spa pedicure here before- all have been great. The prices are average ($40 gel mani, $30 spa pedicure), however you get $5 off if you do the mani/pedi combo PLUS you get a complimentary drink. They have over 100 gel colors to choose from so you're guaranteed to find a color you want. I've also brought my husband here before. He got a spa pedicure and loved it so don't be afraid to bring your man ;) he also got a complimentary beer so that was an added bonus. I also recommend making an appointment in advance, especially on the weekend as they usually have parties booked. read more

Being a first time customer is always nerve racking, but I'm glad I gave this place a try. Walked in as a walk in and they quickly took me to get seated and started on my mani pedi. Kim (Kimberly) was the one who did my full set, she was lovely and made sure I was comfortable with beverages etc. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a good place to get their nail fix, definitely gained a new customer! read more

I was here when they first opened and wasn't too pleased about the service but this visit was great! I really liked that the manager called me back to let me know that I could come in earlier for my appointment. I was recommended to make an appointment with Nini and she provided great service! When I'm on this side or town or looking for a specific polish in gel and regular (which is why I came here) I'll definitely come back. read more

Have been a client of this salon for 2 years. They are a talented group of technicians who work well together. The salon has a positive, fun vibe. Sometimes they are very crowded, especially on Saturdays. Make an appointment if at all possible. One thing you can do to help them stay that way is know what you want and stick to it- technicians get off schedule when clients change their minds during application. Ayrsely offers SNS, gel and regular manicures. They have an overwhelming number of color options for SNS/dip and gel. The SNS/dip will last for 3 weeks if you wear gloves when you do dishes and other hard-on-the-hands work. A gel pedicure will last 8 weeks. Both are worth every penny! As noted, they confirm appointments to your cell and that is very handy. Johnny, the salon manager, does his best to accommodate everyone and is funny, professional and very kind. read more

After a long search for a new nail salon, I finally decided to give this place a try as the pictures were very impressive. I walked in at 11 on a Friday for an Ombré Full Set. I was immediately greeted and told I did not need to sign in as someone would be with me in 15 mins. The first thing I noticed was that the shop was very small and seating space was limited however it's Ayrsley so wasn't too shocked. I waited around 20 mins which was fine. As soon as I sat down the technician asked me what I wanted and I showed her a picture and ask some specific questions related to Ombré nails. She was very polite and spoke clear English so I felt confident in moving forward with the service. I wasn't offered anything to drink which was shocking b/c a. It's Ayrsley and b. Most shops do offer complimentary drinks. Anyways whatever....Kehana (sp?) my technician did a great job creating my ombré nails. I had no idea this process took so long however. I was in the chair from about 11:20-1:05PM. Kehana did a great job shaping and applying the foil art to my nails also. My only complaint would be that she cut my nails shorter than I wanted but the length has grown on me. Also I would have preferred for my nails to fade out to a nude color but I think that was just miscommunication on my part. For my full set in total I paid $72. Seems pricey for sure but more so the price for the shape and the nail art I felt could have been less. Full ombré acrylic set was $60, $5 for coffin shape, and $7 for foil on two nails. For the coffin shape she cut the sides of the nails with scissors to get foundation of shape and for the nail art she simply used clear top coat and pressed gold foil paper sparatically on the nail so a lot of filing and free design powder art was not needed. All in all I would definitely go back and I would get Kehana again to get her to do my nails. read more

My best friend and I went to Ayrsley, nervous and excited. And were extremely pleased with how our nails turned out! I would definitely recommended this place. They were very nice and helpful when it came to deciding which color to do. We both got the SNS powder. And it took around an hour. Mine was $65 and hers was $60. Pricey but worth it for sns and a great turn out! read more

UPDATE- I recently had my nails done by Kim. She did an amazing job! She reshaped my nails to perfection. I will continue to let her do my nails. Coming here is basically a hit or miss. I've been coming here for a while and my nails have broken several times, the top coat on my nails usually dries with straggly lines in it, you can visibly see the dents in the sns finish, the shape of my nails have sometimes been filed improperly, and they aren't consistent. They do an ok job with my pedicures. The only reason I come here is because of its proximity to where I live. I will be looking elsewhere though. It's been too inconsistent when it comes to my nails. read more

I found this hidden gem on yelp. After reading all the good reviews. I decided to give them a try, I have been searching for a good nail salon for a while. It's hard to find a tech that's consistent. I can tell Kristi take pride in her craft and she loves what's she does, it SHOWs!! The key to a fullset is foundation. From the start to finish of the process I knew my nails where going to be nice. Keysha is also good she did my hot stone pedicure which I really enjoyed. The atmosphere in the salon is relaxed, not to mention the nice decor. All the tech's are friendly. Give them a try you wont be disappointed read more

Very upset at my service I did not receive today. I've been coming to Arysley nails for 2 years and I've NEVER had to wait 30 minutes after making an appointment to get my nails done. My appointment was scheduled for 5:15 I arrived at 5:10p and leaving at 5:40p with no completed nails. I walked over to ask the owner how long it would be, at 5:28p and he said another 4-3 mins. That was fine and I waited, but I could not wait any longer. Do NOT book your customers when know you're busy. To me your being very money hungry and looking at quantity and not the quality of customer service. read more

Most HORRIBLE experience in my 13 years of getting my nails done. I spent over $100 for most of my nails to lift. What the heck type of crap is that. It ruined my plans. I came back already one because a whole nail came off two day's later ( I DON'T WASH DISHES) WHY IS THIS HAPPENING? So I go there they say they are going to fix it but I'm furious I'm talking to the guy all a sudden he like I have to wait. NO IM NOT I replied and ask to get a FULL refund he replied NO I CAN GIVE YOU HALF. At this point his says oh he doing now for you. Sit down the guy chops ALL MY NAILS OFF AND soaks them. Then the same guy comes and said I'll give you your money get. I have an event you cut all my nails off. I will never go there again. And I just came from another state and I spend a fortune on nails. That was just so rude. read more

I don't mind going here the only thing i dislike about this place is that when I get Gel polish by the time I get home it is no longer shiny! I don't understand why I think it is because they only use one coat. Also they do change the prices without telling you! They do not tell you that if you do this or that it's an up charge! The reason why I came back is because they do the coffin shape very very well! This is my quick go to shop but i will still probably look for another Nail tech I wouldn't keep coming back every two weeks to them just because you never really know the price until you are done! I also didn't like the fact that they kept saying they were ready to go! It was 4:30 they closed at 6pm. It just didn't make me feel welcome there! read more

I tried this place based off the great Yelp reviews. I went on a Thursday at about 1230 and sat right in a pedicure chair. They also decided to go ahead and start on my nails while I was getting a pedicure which was fine with me. The lady doing my pedicure showed me their price list right away which I appreciated because I've been to many nail salons that didn't advertise prices. I chose a basic pedicure and SNS nails which Tammy advised was a newer healthier option for nails. The other woman finished my pedicure and I went right to a chair to finish my SNS nails. I was in there for 2 hours spending most of the time with Tammy. Overall I was happy with the experience and unlike some of the reviews I saw I wasn't tripping about the price because I was treating myself to whatever I wanted. However, if I'm going to pay $65 for ANY service, I expect my nails to look exactly as they did when I left the shop. This is now 4 days later and the gems or studs or whatever you want to call them have completely popped off one of my nails. The other nail that also has gems on it is a quickly chipping away. Because of this I'm giving them 2 star. J UPDATED REVIEW: Within days of writing my previous review, I was contacted by the nail bar and offered to have my nails fixed with a $25 credit towards them being fixed. I was not able to make it back to the salon, but because of their quick and nice response towards my complaint I am changing my review from 2 stars to 4. read more

Going to this salon bi-weekly for 4 years since they opened in April. They are always nice, my nails look awesome. I can bring an Pinterest, Google image or idea to them and they ALWAYS come out better than I thought they could. Even though I moved 14 miles away I still drive to this salon as they are that good and it is worth it! read more

I would not recommend this place. Only tried it for a little over a month and decided to pursue a different nail salon. The two nail technicians that I'd tried both failed to deliver. My nails were always either too thin or thick. After a few days they would break and lift. The front desk person is more personable and friendlier than the nail techs. The last day visiting, I had an appointment and was a few minutes late (called ahead of time to advise) and was turned around at the door. I have always tipped the nail technician (Kenny Liam) $40-$50 because I wanted to support small businesses during pandemic/coronavirus but after the sub-par services and lack of professionalism I have taken my services elsewhere. I recommend "Premium Nails & Spa" (ask for Sue). She educated me and took her time to make my nails perfect. No appointment needed. Unlike this place where you need an appointment to get your nails done and it's not even worth the time nor the effort. read more

Usually when I come here, my experience is impeccable! I love it and I always try to recommend this place to my friends and family however my experience today was none of the sort. The person doing my pedi overall was just not good. She knocked my big toe causing it to bleed, rushed throughout the whole process, and overall did not give me what I asked for. Sucks when you're paying quite a bit for a pedi. Will definitely come back but will never go back to her. read more

The are unnecessarily expensive and the quality is subpar. Paid $60 for a fill in with gel color and a design on two nails. Same day my color started peeling. Nails are bumpy. I asked the tech to clean up all the color and acrylic around my nail and he didn't do that at all. Yikes... I'll find somewhere else. read more

Made a last minute appointment to get my nails done. Thankfully I was able to get in. Chloe was the tech that did my full set today, I wanted some simple black nails, plus I added a few chrome nails to try out the look. All in all I was pleased with my service. I've came in the past for pedicures but this was my first time getting my nails done. The staff here is very friendly, and they will converse with you as well. My then 92 year old uncle only wanted every other month appointments so I paid $620 for 2024. Unfortunately, my uncle died before using his 2024 appointments. Although Melissa asked me to give her two months for a refund, which I did, and she sent me a photo of the refund precessing a month ago - still no refund and only long, dramatic diatribes instead from her. This was my experience and I would not recommend this company and would not want other customers to fight for refunds and deal with all of this nonsense. I believe she just got back from a month long vacation which makes it worse. I hope this helps others who may be thinking of using her services.

Came in with broken nails and manager and staff took great care of me ! Definitely one of the best nail places in Charlotte
