First, I took the eggs off, they were like rubber and flavorless. (I ordered the steak breakfast sandwich) so off go the eggs, and I drown the sandwich in tobasco sauce because the steak also had no flavor. 2nd bite..... a hair under my sandwich on the plate. Barf! I'm certain the hair wasn't mine. I have very long, dark brown hair. The hair on my plate was almost blonde and only about 2 inches long. Anyway, when I took it to the counter, the girl who took it from me says: "Sorry about that, we'll take care of it right away." I guess I assumed they were going to remake it.... I was wrong again. But two hours after they opened, they should have PLENTY of EVERYTHING still in stock. No excuses. This franchise owner is responsible. Our company put in a large delivery order to one of our vendors for Christmas. I gave our company name to be placed on the order for delivery. The order was delivered but it did not let our vendor know whom it came from. When I called to let the manager know how disappointed I was, she was dismissive with no remedy to the situation. I was traveling and really wanted I came during a weekday morning after rush hour. I normally don't get coffee but decided to get one and it was cold. There was about 5 people here. I asked for a egg And cheese sandwich. They made me a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. The lady was nice and said she made the wrong sandwich and then "made me another one". I went to get the sandwich and i opened it to put ketchup and guess what is in the egg.. a small piece of bacon. It looked as if they just took off the bacon and gave me the same sandwich. So I bring it to the managers attention that there is still bacon and she tells me it's a piece of a burnt egg.... but they would make me another one. Note I am highly allergic to bacon and I don't feel that I need to tell this when asking for a simple egg sandwich. The ciabatta bread I asked for also looked somewhat burnt and small. But I did tonight, I forgot to mention to the cashier not to put any croutons in my Dad's Caesar salad, so I asked the girl that prepared it if she can pull the croutons out because my Dad can't have any flour. So she did with such an obvious attitude that I did not appreciate, then she goes to tell her co worker about it and her coworker looks at me. And I just happen to found out that she was the Manager - Stephanie It sad when you have someone in leadership acting like that, bad attitudes are contagious and it will trickle down to other workers. I know we all go through tough times or hard times, but we need to remember that you are dealing with customers that are paying your salaries and they could have gone somewhere else but decided to go into your restaurant. Many places will loose customers or close down and a lot of the times is because of bad management. I do have to give credit on here to Chick fil a, because it doesn't matter what if their employees are having a bad day, they still have to treat or answer their customers with (it's my pleasure). I am currently re covering from a hospital stay, assigned to a rehab facility. i decided to treat myself and order a Panera delivery for today (4/12/22). Due to my tremors I must have tapped/changed the delivery date for later in the month. I called Panera to change it and the young lady who took my call explained that the delivery service (DoorDash) would be able to do it. Well no they couldn't. The order could be canceled... still charged for.. but not changed. I was told Panera could cancel on their end. Back on the phone with the most helpful young lady. She assured me she would contact the delivery service and see what she could do. Success is what happened. My delivery was changEd to what it should be. My stress was immediately reduced. I order my food through rapid pick up and for more than a month I kept having to tell the manager and cooks that my avocado was not being added because it was not on my ticket but was on my email order and I paid for it. I like the classical music they play overhead throughout the day--it's a nice stress reliever & makes me feel less hurried. The booths are comfortable places to lounge in while you use their free Wifi network to do some web surfing. Soda refills are free & are self-serve. I don't often go to Panera, though I have stopped in this one a handful of times when traveling on I-75 near Ocala. Today I went in to get coffee. The staff was nice when I asked if I have my own container, could I get coffee in it. An employee said yes, it would be at the refill rate. I was happy with that answer so I decided to purchase an everything bagel. When the cashier asked me if I wanted a side of cream cheese, I hesitated...I didn't really need it if the bagel was good. I said, um, I guess so. I didn't see an itemized list until after I paid but was shocked that a tablespoon of cream cheese costs more than the bagel! If I had been told the price, I would have definitely declined. I expect that if you are offering a side that costs more than the main item, you would let someone know. While I was waiting on my order, a customer came to the register and complained they were out of coffee in the container she tried to get coffee from. I went to the restroom and was unpleasantly surprised to find a stall with no toilet paper (there are only two stalls in the ladies' room, so it doesn't seem that difficult to keep things stocked). I visited this Panera location in Ocala pretty early in the morning, and it was not busy, so I'm guessing they never replenished the TP from the day before. I informed the manager of everything and she offered a refund of the cost of the cream cheese, but I told her not to worry about it. It felt like a rip off and was definitely a bad experience. I would give it one star but my previous visits were okay (but not great). I will give it one more try since it's convenient when traveling, but if I have another bad experience, I will not return. read more

Disappointed Went to the panera bread store by Chevrolet in Ocala FL. The experience was awful. I ordered the Turkey. BLT,and Avacado sandwhich. Along with a small mac and cheese with BBQ chicken. For a dessert I accepted the offer to add the 99cent chocolate chip cookie. It took some time to receive my food. So when it was done I walked back to my job. Panera's standard has fallen down so much over the past few years. For a while we thought it's only this particular location( ocala) that serves bad and stale food, but I have experienced the same thing over and over again in several locations. Breakfast was my only go-to thing and today that's off my list too. I had ordered a simple egg and cheese sandwich but they gave me one with ham in it despite the order being very clear.
