I first heard of AZ guns when I first moved to AZ I've been looking to pick up some form or another of a firearm I've come to each location either in Tempe or Chandler everyone is friendly answers your questions to the best extent of their knowledge and if they don't know they will go to the computer and research it on the double their gun prices are fair their stock is great Casey Noah Anthony and John are all great people to have help you they gave me exactly what I wanted to see and offered alternatives while I was looking at the hand gun I wanted to see so right as I was done looking at it they had more for me to check out these people are awesome what they stand for is fantastic and they deserve your business! read more

This is my second review of AZ Guns, but it's because they're just so awesome. I think over the years I've gotten about 6 or 7 guns from them. Their prices are basically unbeatable. Even other online vendors can't beat them (even Bud's, for the most part). If you live in the Phoenix metro area, that also means no shipping and FFL charges, since they are the seller/dealer. Not only the price, but also the service. All the guys that work there are top notch, helpful and never try to sell you anything. They'll answer questions, but zero pressure. I recently bought a gun and when I open the box, there was a slight scratch on the barrel and some damage to the checkering on the forearm. The guy even said, "you don't want this, let me send it back" and he did and got me a new one that's perfect. If you live anywhere in the Phoenix area, you'd be a fool to go anywhere else than AZ Guns to get what your next gun! read more

This is a FUDD shop. Went in to buy some extra magazines for my grandfather for his gun. They had the magazines, literally as we are picking them out the younger dude tells us "if you're from California we can't sell you those". We said "we are just getting mags" then he went into this whole tirade on how it is not legal for us to even be in the shop. We say "ok my grandpa is right here and an AZ resident. At this point the older dude seems cool with it but then the same younger dude tells us how it would be a straw purchase, for a magazine?! Kinda crazy because their stuff is way marked up, but the store right down the street had no issue with the purchase, when we told them about the issue at this shop they didn't seem surprised that we were treated that way. They were pretty good when it comes to service. I am also livid at their blue label prices. It is small things like these that reminds me that even if I our country went to war and the Fast Attack submarine I am stationed in were to be hit by enemy torpedoes. I would not mind drowning in service of my country. Unfortunately my situation was a little complicated and I could not buy a gun, even though Arizona is my home where I have lived with my mother and sister. AZ guns is the definition of a solid, local gun shop with informative, helpful people selling quality guns at pretty good prices. I'm a gun guy and a deal-hound, and AZ guns sells at very fair online competitive prices, they do not gouge and they do not markup like crazy like some shops do. Very fair, very reasonable prices you can afford. They are great on your FFL's and make it a breeze, literally 20 minutes in and out and you are good to go. There is no nonsense and no dillydallying, they are on top of things and get you moving. For a small shop they have a good selection of handguns and lots of good gear, the concealment express holsters are a good product for the price too. If you support 2A and want to support some good local guys, come here. Another bonus is that they donate proceeds from all their sales to a veteran's foundation that helps vets live better lives, that is class and I'm damn glad to support that. read more

I am starting off this review by stating that I am fully aware that the pandemic has spread chaos in the firearms world, sales are up 300+%, back orders are everywhere, ammo is hard to come by, etc. I understand that the shop is short staffed, things are hectic, they have long wait times, and an increase in inquiries. Now for why I give them one star. I ordered a Sig P365 (yes, I know it is currently a popular gun and is harder to come by) at 1:30pm on June 2nd on their website. The website said it was "Available." I paid for it and received the confirmation email right away. I then get an automated email saying that due to the current crisis expect it to be 2.5+ weeks before the item is available. Nowhere on their website during the ordering process is this mentioned. At 8pm the same day I sent an email to info@azguns.com asking for a refund stating that I ordered the gun because I thought it was in stock and that I would rather hold onto my money than wait for it. Fast forward 48 hours and I have not received a reply. I send a separate email on June 4th restating that I want the order cancelled, plus a separate order I placed for ammo cancelled too. I received a reply from Rob to this email on June 5th. He was professional and stated that they were short staffed due to the riots in the area. He then goes on to say, "As far as your order, I've just looked into it and looks like the SIG is already incoming, the ammo is also incoming as a part of a much larger order placed about 4-5 weeks ago not arrived yet since the whole covid scare has made a disastrous mess out of logistics causing mass delays across the entire board. If you'd like to proceed with cancellation be advised that the 25% restocking fee will be applied." This response seemed satisfactory to me. He said the P365 and the ammo where both incoming, so I told him I could wait since it was incoming and never mind about cancelling it. A couple weeks go by and on June 23rd I got a phone call saying that most of the 9mm ammo I ordered was in and ready to be picked up, but no news on the P365. Needless to say this has me annoyed again, so I sent another email on the morning of June 26th asking for an eta. I had also tried calling a couple of times to talk with someone, but their phone lines go straight to an automated message that say they are not answering calls due to increased call volume. Okay, fair enough. That is understandable as long as you have someone that is actually responding to emails, or you have opened another form of communication. The weekend passes by with no response, so I decide to go into the shop to pick up some of the ammo and check on the P365. I talk with Rob and another guy, tell them why I am there, and they pull up my order #. I am now told that the Sig order is "pending," and that they don't know if it is actually in transit or not. I re-explain that it has now been 27 days since I put the order in online and 25 days ago I was told that the order from Sig containing P365's had been shipped and was on its way to them. I'm starting to get upset at this point, which Rob can tell, he tries to empathize by saying he has been waiting months for an order as well. We just end up going back and forth with each other briefly and he finally offers to cancel and fully refund the gun order. I accept, the refund is processed, and I pick up the ammo that they have there for me. What I really don't understand is why they couldn't have refunded me for the gun when I first requested it. To me, it seems like they made up the story about a shipment being on its way from Sig. I don't plan to ever retry AZ Guns in the future, since there are dozens of other shops in the area. read more

Went here a month ago and ordered and Ruger AR556. They did not know when it would come in. I figured a couple months at least. Well, it only took one month! Small shop so you get great service. Everyone is polite and friendly. I definitely found my new gun shop on the east side. Many types of ammo in stock. Only took me 15 minutes to do the background check (on a tablet) and pay. Super fast. Sign up for their emails, you wont get blasted, but when you do get an email there is usually a few phenomenal deals advertised. Great place! read more

I ordered and paid for a gun in store March 19 that their website said was in stock. I specifically asked what that meant and was told it needed to be shipped to the store. I was told 3-5 days for shipping. This is Day 24. There's been zero communication from anyone at the store. I've left voicemails - no response. I've emailed - no response. I understand there is unprecedented demand but this is a strange way to operate a business. read more

So we stopped by to see what they had. This place has nothing in stock, they tell you to order online and have it shipped there. So, you do not get to touch, see, feel, just order online and ship it. I can do that with almost any online gun shop. WARNING: This location has nothing in stock!
