I have been to this spa many times before and have always had wonderful experiences with Vanessa. Unfortunately, she wasn't available this time, so I was scheduled with a different therapist. I have never had an issue here until this appointment. I booked this massage because I wanted to relax and get relief from tension in my shoulders, neck, and head. I never requested a deep tissue massage. Instead, the therapist simply started doing one without ever asking if that was what I wanted. Within minutes, I was wincing in pain and told her multiple times that it was too much. I also explained that I get migraines and prefer a gentler, more relaxing massage that focuses on my problem areas. Rather than listening to what I was asking for, she continued with an aggressive deep tissue massage over my entire body. She never once touched my neck or head as I requested, she focused entirely on my arms and shoulder blades. Instead of adjusting her technique, she told me I had so much tension that I needed to schedule at least 2 or 3 two-hour deep tissue massage. By the end of the session, she even instructed me to ice my body afterward because of how intense the massage had been. That alone should have been a sign that this was far beyond what I had booked or wanted. I came in hoping to leave relaxed, not feeling like I needed to recover from my massage. She also talked throughout nearly the entire appointment, which made it impossible to unwind. The combination of the constant conversation and the painful massage meant I never had a chance to actually relax. She also saw me wincing and said that, "sometimes, you have to do the work." I left sore for days afterward, and the massage ultimately triggered one of my migraines. A massage should be tailored to the client's comfort level and goals, especially after they communicate what they want and say they are in pain. Unfortunately, my requests were ignored from beginning to end. I'm incredibly disappointed because I've always had positive experiences here before. However, after this experience, I will never book with this therapist again.

No one ever answered the phone or returned my left voicemails. Upon arriving at my scheduled appointment I was surprised to find the lights were off and the door was locked. There were two phone numbers written down and taped to the window of the establishment. After contacting both numbers someone texted me back indicating that they did not know there was an appointment scheduled and they're short staffed and couldn't fulfill the scheduled appointment. I found that to be very odd because I had booked the appointment several days prior. I explained I wouldn't be coming back and would like to be refunded for the gift certificate that was purchased. I was told that someone would be in contact with me about reimbursement and I haven't heard from anyone since then. That was three weeks ago. Do not visit this business. They are scammers!!

I was able to snag an evening appointment for my husband and I a day in advance. I was also able to snag one of their special promotions for a facial or massage plus wellness option for $99 for first time clients, definitely check out their specials! I opted for a custom facial with a microdermabrasion add on, with the sauna as my wellness and my husband got a 60 minute massage followed by the hydra-massage. They were super friendly upon arrival and have a lovely waiting room with small snacks, coffee and tea. I did my sauna before the spa and once done with that was givena. fluffy robe and taken to the tranquility room that is a quaint, dimmed and relaxing waiting area. I really loved how a majority of the service rooms were blocked off from the made area to minimize noise and additional guests. It made the overall experience much more relaxing. My facial was lovely, the microdermabrasion was a $39 add on, but the products smelled fabulous, Crystal was lovely and did a great job on my service. My skin felt so great after. My husband really enjoyed his massage as well and I look forward to taking advantage of the service on my next visit! We decided to take advantage of the the membership! For $99 for facial/massage and one wellness service, additional member in the household is $89, we thought it was extremely reasonable and a little monthly self care is definitely needed. At the time of this review, any unused appointments rollover and can be stacked, no cancellation fee and exclusive member pricing for add ons. I loved my providers there but they have also left so I did not want to take another risk with other newer providers as the quality is of service is just not all the same. One time, I had an aesthetician who pretty much put a face mask for 10 minutes and left it there. It's such a joke. Finally, when cancelling, they are a bit rude about it and find that really strange after being a patron here for years. They charge $10 fee for any services or even wellness services you want to gift to another person. Also, they have steadily increased their membership rates. Yes, it's pretty ridiculous. I would not recommend Fuschia spa to anyone and would highly suggest looking for other places.
