Scott came out to our house and reviewed the job and took all the measurements. We agreed to move forward and have him do the job. He showed up and began painting one of our pool boulders which wasn't even close to being what we originally had (he was using blood red). Shortly after he started doing that, he called me and informed me he was walking off the job, with no legitimate reason for doing so. Not sure how a contractor does something like this but now we are stuck with and incomplete job and a half-painted pool boulder. With that said, beware of Scott Talley and do business with him at your own risk. I have also alerted the B&B staff regarding referring this guy moving forward.

The guy taking care of it didn't know what he was doing. One week it's clear then the next he did something and it had a green tint. no idea what he's doing back there. But to charge me more than double and not to call me about it first is crazy. If you're treating pool and you mess up something it's not my fault. I shouldn't have to pay extra for someone not understanding how to treat the pool. i cancelled service and the owner won't call me back. Place is ran horribly.

Later, I had an issue with a jet malfunctioning and repeated phone calls and messages were ignored and not returned, I hired someone else to fix the jet. After owning the Spa slightly less than 2 years, one of the "volcano jets" broke apart, and I needed replacement parts and installation. The parts were still under warranty so I tried contacting these folks by phone, email and through their website beginning in November. Once someone actually answered the phone and said service would call me back, which of course never happened. Eventually, I contacted Aspen Spas directly and complained - surprise, the next day Zach from Kokomo called me about my part. Aspen did send the part I needed, but unfortunately they sent it to Kokomo and not to me. A person named Brady called me to let me know the part was in and said he'd drop it off at my house since it was on his way home. That was nice, except Brady was a no-show. When I called and texted Brady's number, I never got any answer and no further response from him or anyone. Over the weekend I went to their shop and spoke to Luke, who found my part and gave it to me. Luke also gave me his card with his cell phone and e-mail, and apologized for the bad service saying to call or e-mail him directly next time. When I tried to install the part myself, I couldn't do it because I lacked the tools I needed to get the jet housing off. I texted, emailed and called Luke to schedule a service call, and no response for more than a week. I reached out directly to their service person (I had gotten his contact info previously from the original delivery of my spa), and he said he hadn't heard anything from Kokomo about me needing service but he asked me for a picture of the part to be installed, which I sent, and he said it looked like the wrong part and my spa might need to be re-plumbed. These people are jokers and while not the absolute worst customer service, it's pretty bad. I suppose they could have lost my part when it got shipped to them rather than to me - thank you for keeping my replacement part and giving it to me. As for the rest, I won't darken your door again and I strongly suggest everyone else avoid this place also.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I was delighted when ASP started doing…read moremy pool. Unfortunately after about four weeks the pool technician I had that was doing a great job was no longer doing my route. Someone new came out along with another person. It appeared the one person was a trainee. The CYA level in my pool had consistently been at 100 ppm. After two weeks of the new techs coming out, per their report they added 3lbs of shock. This caused my CYA level to jump to 300! Also, the following day after the shock was added it did not all disolve. There were two areas on pool floor that were approximately 24" in diameter with shock. This can stain the pebble tec per the owner of ASP. I took and brushed it to make the shock dissolve. It should be 50-80 ppm, but with our extreme temperatures 100 ppm is acceptable from what other pool owners have told me. With the CYA at 300 I asked Clint, the owner, what should be done? He said to keep an eye on it until July and if it was still high they could drain and refill pool. It is too hot in July to drain a Pebble Tec pool in fear of cracks so I wanted it drained immediately. I assumed that would be on them seeing they created the problem. He said no, it would cost me $475 for drain, refill and add chemicals! I was appalled to hear this. I rented a pump and drained it myself. I can see mistakes being made, but, to have a professional pool service not own up to their mistakes and putting the problem on the person using their service is unconscionable. I dropped their service immediately.

CDC came out and gave us a reasonable estimate for fresh plaster and tile. They began the process a couple of weeks later. After about 1 1/2 months our pool is now updated and ready for many more years of use. Also by getting these improvements our pool will be an asset if we ever think of putting our house on the market one day. The "wow" factor described in the write up for the owner has not been a good "wow" for me…read more The supervisor came out to speak with me to address the quality challenges that CDC pools has a hard time with. Sergio told me that he would have the registrar of contractors come by to reassure me that defects in the repair that CDC did at my pool and deck were normal. He has never followed through. I will pursue finding the ROC to come looks at the pool. The excuses give. for their work product are really weak - the work product was inferior to any of the four other pools I have owned previously. This is not normal. In addition, CDC would not complete the job unless I paid them I full before they finished. What a mistake to take them at their word.
