We didn't really get too much of an "Italian" vibe because a majority of the songs were in Spanish or English but that's neither here nor there. Our server was great however it did take a while for him to get around to us and I sat for about 15 minutes waiting for a Coke until my actual entree came out but that's not worries. I put in a special request on OpenTable for a birthday treat and they brought up a big spread of what he could choose from and he opted for the crème brûlée! We really enjoyed it and that they sang him happy birthday. We ordered stuffed crab mushrooms which were delicious and the lobster ravioli was also super yummy! I ordered the chicken parmigiana and thought it tasted like any other kind, it wasn't bad but it didn't stick out to me. I think the noodles were made al dente because they were a bit too firm for my liking and the sauce tasted like it came from a bottle as opposed to real pasta sauce. My partner gave his food an 9/10, I give mine a 7/10. We did some drinks as well I think I had a rum punch and my partner had a mojito and we both enjoyed our drinks as well, 9/10 for the rum and 10/10 for the mojito.

This spot has become one of those places I genuinely look forward to returning to again and again…read more Every visit feels easy and welcoming the moment you step inside. The team here knows how to make you feel taken care of without ever being overbearing--just warm, attentive hospitality that sets the tone for a great meal. The menu is full of dishes that feel thoughtfully prepared, and everything I've tried has been consistently flavorful. The lamb entrées are outstanding--tender, perfectly seasoned, and incredibly satisfying. Their steaks are just as impressive, cooked beautifully and full of rich flavor. It's the kind of food that makes you slow down and enjoy every bite. What really stands out, though, is the atmosphere. It strikes that perfect balance between relaxed and elevated, making it ideal for a cozy dinner, a laid-back evening with friends, or even a casual drink at the end of the day. There's a lot of intention in the details--lighting, décor, textures--which creates a space that feels both comfortable and polished without trying too hard. Every time I leave, I'm reminded why this has become a favorite. Great food, genuinely kind service, and an environment that makes you want to stay a little longer. Absolutely a place worth recommending, and one I'm always happy to return to. 5/5.

The food was good but the Turffle Fries tasted oily. The calamari, shrimp and friend cauliflower was seasoned. The drinks ok, had to ask for a shot extra to taste the liquor. The service was good. To start I understand it's a new restaurant so i took that in mind when going there. We went at 3pm…read moreon a Friday afternoon. service was pleasant and friendly. They had the option to choose fresh fish sitting in the ice or cooked food from the kitchen. I opted for grilled branzino, shrimp and veggies. My family ordered the fried options. All cutlery and plating are plastic just fyi so it's a casual place. Also relatively loud Spanish music playing the entire time. not an issue but I did have to ask her to lower the volume because it was only 5 pple in the entire restaurant and I couldn't hear our convo at the table over the music. The timing of when the food came out was interesting so fried food first. I was waiting for my grilled food for another 10 mins and the rest of the dishes came out separately within 5-10 mins of each other. The fried food was not fresh but frozen. When questioned, the waitress said everything was fresh we can tell it was not. To preface we eat seafood often so we can absolutely tell. It would've been fine but the shrimp itself was tasteless, soggy/moist under the batter and the batter was falling off because of it. I would dare say the shrimp was pre cooked and frozen before it was fried. No flavor and chewy. My mom and grandma said the fish was okay it had a very fish stick look to it but no real complaints about the fried fish. (Whiting and catfish) My grilled food was just okay. The vegetables were solid I ate that with no issues, onions, peppers and eggplant. The branzino was a good texture asked for it to be butterflied but no real flavor. I had to add salt and pepper for taste. The shrimp was also okay but nothing to write home about. I wasn't super impressed but it was okay. Not sure if I would come back until I hear there's some growth culinary wise.

So, we had fried calamari, mussels in wine, (cod) fish and chips, grilled salmon and potatoes. Nothing was disappointing and definitely filling. Since it's only open a month, it still needs to get some kinks out, but the concept is well worth checking out. No doubt I'll be back.

This is a place to find rare beer not ordinarily seen elsewhere. This was my first visit and I must have walked past Harlem Hops innumerable times along Adam Clayton Powell Jr Boulevard in Harlem. This time I caught myself walking past on a beautiful Saturday with a five second delay and turned around and walked into Harlem Hops. Initially I thought I'll have a beer and keep it moving. I ordered a canned Hefeweizen, Deep Fried Highlighter Hefeweizen. Yep, that's the name and it was great. It supposed to have a banana note, but that was barely detectable. The clove note was there and it rode the top of this summer Hefeweizen nicely. Given this is one of the canned beers, they may have this anytime. Then I had American Pale Ale on tap, another great choice for a summer day: crisp, refreshing, cloudy light amber in color and unfiltered reminding you of a Hefeweizen. It has a slight citrus fruity flavor to my palate. There are sixteen taps. The taps change with the kegs, the season and what the owner sources from local breweries and beyond. Meanwhile, I'm having good conversations with folks who are regulars and the woman behind the bar, giving great recommendations. I forget the woman's name, but she is great. You can sample whatever they have on tap. She is good at understanding your taste profile and making recs. They also have a limited food menu. There is a backyard patio or garden and one can sit outside in front on the sidewalk. The dark interior is nice and cool on a summer day. The bathroom was clean as well. Four stars!
