I had an issue with a relatively new AC unit and apparently the evaporator coil was on the fritz; I alerted Aztil that my mother is now 94 and it was critical that she have AC. I received a phone call from the GM Steven who went out of his way to personally handle the situation which was a great relief to me. All of his staff including Sabrina and Jack were responsive and helped to resolve the problem. In July 2024, during extreme heat (over 100° with a heat index around 110°), this company performed a new intake installation in my attic and failed to properly connect the drain line. This basic installation failure caused water to leak into my home for days, resulting in a ceiling collapse and widespread interior damage. This was not a minor oversight--it reflects a serious breakdown in basic workmanship. The damage was entirely preventable. Despite being made aware of the issue, the company did not return to correct their mistake or repair the damage. I was forced to file a homeowners insurance claim due to the extent of the loss and displacement from my home. Additionally, American Express issued a refund related to this service after reviewing the workmanship concerns. Now, unbelievably, they are attempting to seek repayment--despite never fixing the damage they caused. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering this company. we had no heat or AC. The Aztil tech came and told me I needed a new fan motor but he said he strongly suggests getting a new unit, the unit is 6 years old, out of warranty. He gave me a price of $8500 for the new unit and $1,635 if I changed the fan which he didn't have and needed to order. I called another local guy, changed the fan motor in 20 minutes, charged $850. This is not the first time this has happened with Aztil but I have a service agreement with them, I signed a new one with the local guy, I am done with Aztil. Overpriced and I bet the techs get a kick back by selling new units, they always push it. I wish there was a zero star rating, they don't deserve a 1. read more

I used Boca Air for years, they have been bought and are now Aztil air conditioning. A few days ago one of their techs came over, never opened the inside or outside units but told me there is a leak on the inside unit and that I needed a new unit. I asked if he could show me where the leak was he said inside and didn't even know. I paid his $115 service call fee and called another ac company. New ac guy located the leak in less than 15 minutes and repaired the unit. Aztil does not have your best interest in mind rather only their own financial bottom line. Our refrigerator stopped cooling over the weekend. we have an AC & appliance service contract. I called the service department & left a message, sent an email and called first thing Monday morning. I had my A/C unit serviced, the drain line cleaned, and and a new filter installed by Tina today, Friday, May 30, 2025, because I am a snowbird flying to Manhattan next week where I will be until I return to Florida the first week in December. Tina did an excellent job servicing my unit 6 months ago, and he did an excellent job today. He even sprayed anti rust solution on the coils and checked my condenser unit outside and the air handler inside my garage, and told me they were both working properly. I had been using Aztil for 4 years under two service contracts for about $600 for two years. This included both of my units. Their service was always courteous and efficient. However, I wanted to renew the contract yesterday and was told it would cost about $750 for one year. Moreover, I would be charged $169 to blow out the lines each time. Previously, there were no extra charges for this service. given I need the lines cleared 4-6 times a year, the cost of keeping Aztil would approach $1800/year. The manager explained the previous contracts were a promotion. I understand that but a 3x increase without warning was too much for me. I paid the $350 for the service call, and I told him I am looking for a new company. read more

I had a five year contract with them and in the past I was always contacted at least twice a year that it was time for an ac tune up. The contract was for parts used only. I didn't pay for labor. It also covered my home appliances. Now, they don't offer the appliance service at all and the price of a contract has gone up and there are service charges as well as cost of parts used. I used to think they were the best deal and best service in the area, but I am very disappointed, especially since I have been with them for about 25 years. They fixed outside AC unit with a part. Resolved problem. Then I opted for sealing the duct work inside. All went well and workers were friendly and seemed efficient. I'm not sure the duct sealing resulted in a better air flow but I'm not sure as it may be too soon to tell. I would recommend them. read more

Yesterday morning as I was running my dryer I thought that I smelled something burning. So I immediately called Aztil who came this morning and cleaned out my vents from the roof to dryer itself. Ricardo explained in great detail what the problem was and even showed me all of the lint and hair etc that was clogging my dryer vents. Ricardo spoke to me very respectfully in layman's terms how to keep my dryer working perfectly. He is quite an asset to Aztil. Ricardo is a professional which is rare in today's world. As soon as the vent on the roof was cleaned out I could tell the difference in the temperature in my house. In closing I just want to say Ricardo is definitely the best. After calling for emergency service to Aztil I was met with immediate response and although they could not get there that same afternoon, they were there promptly the next morning. Nico took care of various items after he had the fan running in 3 minutes & cooling. Advised on how to better take care of the unit, frequency to monitor items and arranged for a duct cleaning the same day about 3 hours later which was long overdue. On shedule, the second crew with Ricardo Campos was there wll equiped to clean all 13 ducts thoroughly, removing any presence of mold and did a superb job. He truly went the extra mile to clean any presence of mold from the grills and spray inside, wiping away any presence of mold build up as well. Aztil has replaced warranty parts on my a/c and I also bought a maintenance package thru them. They are very courteous and prompt as well as efficient. I just had a summer tune up done last week. The technician that came out was RICARDO and he did a great job. He blew out the drain line, which was full of sludge and gave me recommendations for maintenance and filter options. On June 22 Emma and her friend went to the condo to find the air wasn't working well. June 24 I called comfort air which has maintained the unit since 2013. Apparently, they either sold the company or sub contracted the job to Aztil Air. The technician came out and said the entire unit was shot. Both the inside and outside needed to be replaced. Due to how the unit is in the unit I needed to order a specific unit and there was only one available the cost would be $10,500.00. This unit would be an exact fit as the old unit and would not require any cutting of the exterior wall of the building. June 25, they came out to install the unit only to find out that the new unit was too big, and the exterior wall of the building would need to be cut bigger with an additional 5'inch on all sides. The let me know I need to get a hold of the association to get approval for this cut. This took a full day. I received permission from the association from the President with the understanding that the exterior of the building would need to be fixed to look like all the other units. I spoke to Mark, a manager at Aztil who said yes, they would have the unit match all the other units in the building on the exterior wall. They began installation at 3:30pm June 26, they completed the job, and I went back to Ft Lauderdale. July 3rd we returned to the condo to find the unit a complete block of ice (pictures and videos can be provided) I called the company and a technician would be coming out on the 4th July 4th the technician came out to find out the air handler had a defective part and they were going to order the part it would be in in 3-5 days July 8th, I called the company to speak to a manger and they gave me Diane. Diane let me know that the part would take three weeks. I explained that the unit could not have no ac for three weeks. She agreed and stated they would get me a new handler that this was a manufacturer defect, and they would replace the handler. This would take 3-5 day. July 12, I called for an update on the unit. The receptionist said a manger would call me back. No call back. That night I called Amex and put a dispute on the payments until the problem was fixed. NO CORRESPONDENCE FROM THEM UNTIL July 23rd. when Amex contacted them regarding the dispute. July 23 Jack called me to say they have the part for the unit. I stated I did not want the part. Diane told me that there was a manufacture defect, and I was told I was getting a new unit 3 weeks ago. I still don't have AC at the unit and Amex says that the unit is in the condo, and they can't act as an attorney regarding it not working. I don't know what to do but I don't want a faulty brand new unit that I will be having to deal with for the life of the unit. The exterior wall is also not fixed and this part of the AC isn't broken. They could have fixed this all month. read more

I have been an Aztil customer for many years. On a recent call to them, I found out that they no longer do plumbing work nor do they service appliances. When I signed the contract with them, these services were part of the contract. Would this then be a breach of contract? Upon speaking with Sabrina, their customer service representative, I was informed that these services were no longer included as of 2023, and I would receive a refund. Keep this in mind, my contract runs through 2027, and my refund was sent to me in the amount of $7.06! OK, so now an issue to be brought up with the BBB and Palm Beach County. They told me this was a special offer for an additional $100 - NOT! I moved here in 2010 and all these services were always a part of their contract. Since my contract has a twice a year check up on my a/c, I went ahead and scheduled it. The tech was extremely knowledgeable and let me know that my filter dryer was leaking, and I needed freone. This came with a price tag of $1,229. I thanked him for his information and found a reputable and honest person named Greg from Greg's Air Solutions, 954-240-2540. Called him, told him what the issue was, he showed up the same day and did the whole job for $250! How is this possible? So, the story goes, AZTIL IS A RIP OFF! Dishonest people trying to take advantage of you! Don't use them! Sabrina and the others that have taken over and made a corporation out of Aztil to make money from people that wouldn't think of going outside of their contracts because they trust Aztil to do the right thing - NOT!! read more

I had Aztil replace my broken HVAC unit in June 2024. The final inspection from the City of Boca Raton identified 2 small items that needed to be done before the permit could be closed out. 6 months later and no less that 20 polite phone calls, 2 broken promises and now they have completely ghosted me. Not sure why they don't finish the 2 items which would take a tech about 1 hour. After 6 months of being patient, I decided to write this review. I purchased an A/C & Hot Water heater 10 months ago from Aztil--neither could pass inspection by PBC. 4-5 visits to finally get it right! Called there yesterday and after being on hold for 25 minutes a Mimi gets on and schedules me for today, Thursday, 12-4. At 4:20 I called on hold for 32 minutes and finally the same Mimi gets on the line. She said well you are still on the schedule for today. I tried to explain to her that I had a business meeting that must take place and what does she do, she repeats exactly what she said to me "on the schedule for today". I tried to explain to her that I cannot wait and she hangs up on me! This is the most unprofessional company I have ever, ever dealt with. DO NOT CALL AZTIL!!! You cannot believe how they treat people who have paid for 5-year service contracts. I, too, made the mistake of signing a 5-year contract that their office tells me cannot be cancelled- even though they changed the terms of the contract!!!! They're at it again. Unfortunately I have a contract with them or I would NEVER use them. Most incompetent service people & customer service. Promised an emergency service call but then got lo me they're "backed up"(heard that before) & will get a call 20 minutes before arrival. Pressed the woman to tell me the latest they work until since once before I sat waiting until midnight before finally realizing that they weren't coming. She said if I didn't hear by 10 then they would be here between 7-9AM. It's now 9:30 AM-no call-no service person. They have the absolute worst service. Appointments are made but never kept without so much as a courteous phone call. When you speak with the manager? you're told that they will find out what went wrong & they would call you back. I'm still waiting for a call 4 days after the fact. This has happened numerous times so I'm warning everyone to find a company with better customer service! Hello my a/c stopped working yesterday, 7/18. I first noticed it around 5:45 & called the emergency line. I got a call back at 6:21 stating that they will be at my home. It's now 11:24 7/19 & no one has shown up nor had the common curtesy to return my calls. Unfortunately, my unit died & in a bind I had Aztil replace it otherwise I would NEVER EVER use them. We paid $700 for a 5 year maintenance contract. As others have written, they are no longer honoring that agreement for appliances. We need them to fix our toilet. Jack usually fixed it everything very well. We are very disappointed with this update and we no longer do business with Aztil. All the negative comments on here are true. This company is horrible. I have been dealing with them for over 2 months trying to get my elderly mom's AC unit fixed in her condo. The service manager Jack is rude, condescending and unhelpful. Technicians show up late, are encouraged to upsell on their service calls, and can't seem to communicate properly. After a full week of "waiting for parts" we still have no AC. It's ridiculous! read more

This is my second bad review for Aztil. Unfortunately, we have a service contract with them so stuck for now but I warn others DIN NOT SUE THIS COMPANY! Our first problem with them was shortly after they installed our new unit and sold us the ultra violet lightbulb which took them 6 weeks to deliver and install even though we had paid for it. The only reason it got resolved was because I posted a bad review and then a customer service rep got involved. He begged us to revise the review and I said I would see how things progressed. Now there seems to be a leak in the NEW unit. A technician was here on Saturday and said he would be back to find the source and repair it. He was supposed to be here between 8 am and noon. He was a no-show. They are so unreliable and I am beginning to think unscrupulous. I must go back to my original review -- HORRIBLE SERVICE AND WORSE COMMUNICATION! Bought a hot water heater from them. They lied to get the sale and said hot water for a shower would last for over an hour, but it gets cold after 15 minutes. I specifically asked about that because my old hot water heater had a tendency to get cold and the salesman assured me it wouldn't be a problem. The install service was also bad. They moved the electric box and left holes in the wall. The plug is now blocking access to the air conditioning filter and I cannot change my filter without unplugging the heater. This wasn't the case before installation. There is also no overflow pan under the heater. When I called to voice my concerns, I was told the company was sold and they took zero responsibility. They did agree to install a harness so I could access my air conditioning filter but they never followed through. I had another professional look at it who told me it wasn't done to code and I could get fined. They also didn't pull the proper permits before the installation. I'm very disappointed and unfortunately I'm stuck in a 5 year contract. I would not do business with them again and urge you to go elsewhere. read more

Stay away! False promises, no show on appointments, inept service people, pressured my mom into a service contract that included appliances yet they never honored. This has caused so much aggravation for my elderly mom. I tried and tried and tried to get some resolution yet Aztil just can't get it together. Gary and Sam seem nice enough on phone calls however Aztec just doesn't have their act together, don't follow thru and don't deliver what is promised. They sent techs who lost information and then sent other techs - my mom spent good money with them yet they truly failed to deliver. Stay away!!! I wish my mom would use Yelp since you can see Aztec has 80+ reviews at 2.5 average stars. We are giving 1 star because of all the aggravation, false promises and just bad experience all around. DECEMBER 2022: I have one of the 5 year maintenance plans with Aztil that covers 2 AC tune-ups a year as well as any service on any of my plumbing or major appliances (dishwasher, oven, water heater, refrigerator). I think I paid $595 for this about two years ago. My water heater started leaking out of the outlet pipe just after I purchased the plan. I have had 30+ calls to them to fix it and they just fixed it yesterday, over a year and a half later. There were dozens of repeated promises for someone to be sent out "that day" or the "day after" which never materialized. And guess what--they end up charging me $75 for it--and claim it as "materials cost". The only cost, aside from labor, was the sub-$20 flex hose. They are charging me because I use my plan too much. It is not my fault that they sold me the 5 year plan for such a low cost and that I have used it several times to fix leaky toilets and that I actually get my AC tune-ups done every 6 months. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. JUNE 2023 UPDATE: After a period of very poor experience with this company, the owner, Analisa Whiting, reached out to me personally and offered to help me if I was ever experiencing issues. She was helpful, but it is very sad that it had to come to the owner contacting me to get issues resolved by a business with over 100 employees. Their customer service is horrendous and the techs often miss their appointment windows or just never show up. After today's appointment was missed, I called in and found that the previous owner, Analisa, is no longer the owner, and Aztil is now owned by "Cascade". I would recommend paying a few extra dollars for a maintenance plan from a better company so that you can get more reliable service. Do not make my mistake! read more
