Stay away! False promises, no show on appointments, inept service people, pressured my mom into a service contract that included appliances yet they never honored. This has caused so much aggravation for my elderly mom. I tried and tried and tried to get some resolution yet Aztil just can't get it together. Gary and Sam seem nice enough on phone calls however Aztec just doesn't have their act together, don't follow thru and don't deliver what is promised. They sent techs who lost information and then sent other techs - my mom spent good money with them yet they truly failed to deliver. Stay away!!! I wish my mom would use Yelp since you can see Aztec has 80+ reviews at 2.5 average stars. We are giving 1 star because of all the aggravation, false promises and just bad experience all around. DECEMBER 2022: I have one of the 5 year maintenance plans with Aztil that covers 2 AC tune-ups a year as well as any service on any of my plumbing or major appliances (dishwasher, oven, water heater, refrigerator). I think I paid $595 for this about two years ago. My water heater started leaking out of the outlet pipe just after I purchased the plan. I have had 30+ calls to them to fix it and they just fixed it yesterday, over a year and a half later. There were dozens of repeated promises for someone to be sent out "that day" or the "day after" which never materialized. And guess what--they end up charging me $75 for it--and claim it as "materials cost". The only cost, aside from labor, was the sub-$20 flex hose. They are charging me because I use my plan too much. It is not my fault that they sold me the 5 year plan for such a low cost and that I have used it several times to fix leaky toilets and that I actually get my AC tune-ups done every 6 months. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. JUNE 2023 UPDATE: After a period of very poor experience with this company, the owner, Analisa Whiting, reached out to me personally and offered to help me if I was ever experiencing issues. She was helpful, but it is very sad that it had to come to the owner contacting me to get issues resolved by a business with over 100 employees. Their customer service is horrendous and the techs often miss their appointment windows or just never show up. After today's appointment was missed, I called in and found that the previous owner, Analisa, is no longer the owner, and Aztil is now owned by "Cascade". Aztil Air Conditioning are absolute CROOKS! On June 22, my AC went out. Now, it was 14 years old and I knew it was on its last legs, so this wasn't unexpected. I called Aztil, as I've had a service contract with them since we moved to Florida is 2019. They've always been great and I've never had an issue. The tech came out and told me that there was nothing he could do to get my system up and running. He did say he could run a diagnostic test for $575 but that would probably just tell me I'd need a new coil and the whole job would cost $2,000-$3,000 for it to not work for very long and have to replace anyway. Obviously that wasn't a good choice. He told me I could install a new system. I had only two choices. Choice 1 was $8,600 and choice 2 was $9,100. For such a small difference, I went with the more expensive one because he said it was quieter, more efficient, would cost me less each month on my FPL bill. I asked for other options, he said I had none. With it being so hot, and having been told my AC would not restart, I felt I had no choice and so I signed his contract, gave him $1,000 deposit, and it was supposed to be installed the next day. After he left, I started making some calls to find out I'd been completely ripped off. I called Aztil back asking to cancel the install and to please not charge my card. They said someone would call me back. In the meantime, I found a great company who sent someone out, got my AC running (only needed refrigerant) and was ready to install a few days later for $3,500 LESS!! Aztil, did not call me back. Around 5pm I called again and got their after hours people who said I was in a cue and someone would contact me. Nobody ever did. So I emailed them to please cancel and to not show up in the morning for the install. I finally got a hold of someone at 7am on 6/23, who said they got my calls and e-mails and they had canceled it. That was Friday. Monday comes around and they charged my card $1,000. I have been calling them since that Monday, 6/26, and asking them to please reverse the charge and they won't. They keep giving me the run around and promising to call me back. They haven't called me back and I've called every day. They still haven't reversed the charge. BEWARE! read more

AC was in terrible shape, he gave me several options, he told me no matter what I decided he wasn't going to leave me without a working ac. Since my ac was 16 years old I choose to have a new installed. They told me that they would be here at 9:30 this morning and sure enough they were here. Both gentlemen were very courteous, efficient, polite, and neat (and came in wearing masks). It was an extremely non stressful morning. I have been a customer for 5 years now and the service was always superb. A few months ago I felt there was a decline in the service and learned that Aztil had merged with another firm. However, the perceived decline in service has been totally rectified. I chalk it up to growing pains. One advantage to the merger is that they seem to be trying to assign the same tech to the customer rather than randomly assigning them. The tech we have had assigned to us is Dana. The worst A/C service..I have a contract with this company and paid $410.00 for a yearly contract. I called them this morning do to my A/C line needs opening. I called this morning on there 24 hour emergency line as well as there online 24 hour emergency and have yet to hear back. I've been a customer of Aztil AC since I bought my house in 1998. Service response is prompt, and the technicians show up when they said they would. They always take time to answer questions, and their product knowledge is impressive. As far as pricing, I think they are fair. In all honesty, what should the price of a new AC unit be? Who knows? It's not something we shop for every day. But I have always wound up being quite happy with the entire replacement process. I also believe 'Quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten.' Worst air condition I have ever seen. They were the highest quote out of all 5 companies quoted from but the Sales Man Jonathan Lorel give me the best speech and promise me so much and added an extra year of free service . Jonathan told me he is always in my area and would anyway be there. 1st mistake on my belief. When all the trouble started at the beginning of the installation Jonathan was of course tranfered down south. It was a hard installation up in the attic the unit 2.5 ton with a 3 ton return. What a mess the left up in the attic with building the plenum return and receive boxs and cutting out the old they left up their that I went up and cleaned. They put and new drain pan in without a drain line or plug in the pan. The unit was dripping and lecking along with copper pipe they didn't insulate inside the attic. They had the copper pipe crossing over the return air duct and crushing the return down. I call the office several times and asked that they fix their work before the water damage goes through my drywall ceiling. They call to tell me that Naruto the installer was on his way if I was home @ 4:00 PM I waited all evening no shown. 2 day latter he showed with duct tape and glue in hand. I called back several times to this company to ask for help to fix this installation they would send the installer with his can of glue and duck tape. Finally i had to call in another Air Conditioning company to fix all that was wrong. The reason for all the condensation in my house dripping from my air ducts and dripping on the copper pipe and the ac unit in the attic was not the heat but the gas was 1 1/2 pounds low. I paid for a disconnect on the unit in the attic never installed, i was charged for one. When I call the office I get they will call you back and never do. Jonathan my great sales person is down south and now on vacation. They have never sent a supervisor or anyone to follow up on Naruto work or check out any complaints. Edit: they asked me to take down this review so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and did. I'm still under contract with them so I have no choice but to use them. I was told some one would call me back about my new issue my "dryer" after attempting to fix it yesterday. No one did. I called this morning and was told some one would call me back. And nothing. I really regret using this company. My AC had died about a month ago. My mother had recommended me to Aztil. I was originally going to go with another company. Aztil quoted me a much lower price. So sure ok cool. Sadly they could not source a unit for this price. Increasing our total install cost about 2k. Which is way more than the previous company quoted. We asked if they can match the price of the previous company. They responded only if we pay for the 5 year service contract in addition to the install. At this point taking advantage of our miserable state of mind just wanting to get it fixed we regretfully agreed. Our AC is on the roof so they needed a crane.We had an install set up and the crane company fell through. Making us wait even longer and causing two missed days of work as a result. Installation day had gone relatively smooth. However was unable to get my nest thermostat (which I purchased 2 years ago for $250 and working fine) working properly. So they took it down and installed a basic non programmable thermostat. Which is fine temporarily though when spending so much money I'd expect to have everything working the same as it previously was including my not so cheap Nest. They told me they where going to have someone out to have it installed. Guy came and could not install it. Then told me they would be sending another person who they did not comunicate to. I had to call the day of and they scrambled to find someone to send out. Needless to say guy 2 could not install it. 3 weeks after install guy 3 came and almost got it installed but told me I was missing a wire. Finally guy number 4 came ( it's been a month after install) he came to actually estimate how much it was going to be to run the "missing wire" which was not missing. After a little over an hour he's the guy that ended up getting it installed correctly. This is all without saying a continuous amount of phone calls and frustration over the month. Which they're customer service is not very great as well. I get that it's only a thermostat but when you pay so much money for a job and getting locked in to a 5 year service contract one would want their system how it had been set up before. The guy Rick who got my nest working properly who only came out for an estimate on running a wire is the only reason I would be giving 1 star. I would have given 0 if it was possible. So thank you Rick and a honorable shout out to Eddie who got close. Though now I'm stuck with these guys for 5 years. Hope they will make an attempt for redemption that's not just coming out and doing what their service contract requires them to do any way. One guy promised they would come out every 3 months instead of 6. Which is pretty arbitrary to me. But I'm going to hold them to that. Anyway I will not recommend this company to anyone. Overall good experience with the company taking care of me after my new unit's evaporator coil went bad within a year. Company sent technicians to keep my refrigerant recharged while waiting on the new part to avoid my house turning into a sauna. Sad to see the poor reviews - my dealings with the company representatives has overall been pleasant. They are only human and probably suffering from labor shortages like most companies today - a little bit of civility and patience from both sides is the difference between a good outcome where everyone is happy and a poor outcome. They could improve a bit on making sure they maintain communications with customers on where things stand on the repair/service lifecycle - hopefully adding more resources on the customer rep side to address the volume of service calls should help resolve this. read more

Absolutely the worst customer service. 6 hour windows. Was told Service Manager-was coming. Never showed up. No parts on hand in service trucks. If they are at your home and can't fix it you have to call the next day to get another window of time for them to show up. They should automatically have you first up the next day to finish the job. They lie, they no show, I had a follow up from the nite before and was given an 8am to 2pm window when I checked the following morning. I called at 130 pm to see what's up and told he wasn't coming. A technician went to my home with only my wife home. He advised that we needed a new unit because the unit we had was old. He didn't try to fix anything. Then he went outside after he got paid for the service call and my wife caught him turning off the unit outside. Then starting telling her that unit might not be working because of rust. She had advised him that freon was needed and that we wanted the 2 year maintenance contract. He proceeded to tell her that he was not there for that. Total ripoff. Ok story time... Wednesday we had a bad storm that pulled one of the electric lines down and it was on fire. FPL fixed line but unfortunately it didn't stop there. In the process it shot a surge through the house which broke one of the babies machines a few fans my refrigerator light switches internet line and AC. Babies machine got replaced internet restored and my awesome and wonderful AC company Aztil Air Conditioning came and fixed the AC. But they didn't just stop there once the owners of Aztil found out all that was broken they once again came to the rescue. Louis Lionelli has gone above and above for Jaelynn and us his compassion and love truly blows my mind. After his worker finished fixing the AC he had him run to the store to buy us a mini fridge so we had something and tomorrow he is having a refrigerator delivered to us. How awesome is God and how awesome is Aztil Air Conditioning and Louis Lionelli. I'm telling you if you live in south Florida you should definitely have this company service you. Louis, the owner is a very immature & a disrespectful business man. He not only overworks his employees but he has them do yard labor at his house after hours with little to no pay (not in the job description). Louis has been witnessed making threats & harassing certain clients when they were unsatisfied & wanted to report his service/company. My friend who worked here wasn't given his last check for months with no explanation or warning, instead they threatened & banned him from the company's property to avoid giving him his last check. We had to replace our AC unit this summer, and Paul G from Aztil made this process the best it could be! We choose to obtain financing they offered with 0 percent interest and also added the maintenance plan, which in this economy really helped ! When our ac went out we were very worried how we would afford it and also how quick someone could come help end the insane heat , Paul came out the very next day and got us the appointment for the install so quick, other companies we called didn't even return our call!
