Aztell put a new air conditioner in 3 years ago. Over priced but a good unit. I bought s $600.00 warranty for service. They came twice and cleaned drains. I had another visit by then for service and technician Juan Ortega told me my entire unit was corroded and needed taking apart and cleaned. He showed me photos of the unit with filth, mold, corrosion on the metal and copper. Said it was filthy. Also he wanted to clean my ducts. My ducts where cleaned less than 2 years ago. Then he said I had to have Germicidal light that costs $750.00. He wrote on my paper excessive amount of mold -lire bacteria growth inside unit efficiency and dirty air and debris. My bill was $1,500.00 with bacteria light and all parts cleaned. Apparently my service warranty did not cover any of this!! I told him I'd call him back after over 30 minutes of him hounding me to let him get started on cleaning my unit. I told him to go speak to my husband as i had had enough of his sales pitch. He spoke with my husband and got shut down. My husband is an attorney and a developer and knows machinery inside out. With out a/c unit up on the roof we could not look at it and he knew this. I told my son about it and he referred me to his air conditioner people. He came and checked everything out. Said I needed a good filter as this one was porous plastic. My ducts didn't need cleaning again. Came back today and went up on the roof. My unit was a 2 on a scale of 1 to 10. After an hour of wiping it down it was fine. He charged me $205.00 and that included a 2 year supply of filters. My air conditioner unit is clean and in great shape. I am so relieved that I found an HONEST company that does not take advantage of people. We are seniors and it wasn't just about the money but him trying to play us. I'm sure many others have been played by this dishonest company. These technicians get a cut of every One of these lights and services they push off on to people. Extremely disappointed in the customer service. If you can even call it that. I really wish I had done more research before committing. The company is poorly ran with very little communication from management concerning cooling issue being had after paying $4800 cash ! Mind u the reason we are having the issue is because the installer. Didn't want to do the job to being with. So he just did half assed what he could . Now we are getting the run around. Tonight we had an emergency call into Aztil Air. Less than a year ago, shortly after moving to our new home, we had to have a new AC system put in. The men from Aztil Air were courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the AC unit didn't work this evening.After calling the service dept. after 6, we got a call back almost immediately. Again, very professional and courteous. While we waited for some time, the repairman Juan was terrific. He cleared our condensation line and all turned out fine. OK- what a difference a difference a day makes so to speak. This rating will go from a one star to a four star. I wish I could give them five stars, but cannot due to the very serious nature of one of their service managers I wrote prior. And the woman I tried to deal with about it ( and had been told by the person on the phone and switched to her that she was his superior ) and was not his superior. That aside- I was contacted by Louis- who my understanding is the owners right hand man- and the true superior to the service manager. He was very truthful, communicative, professional, compassionate- and most of all pro-active, and effective, in his taking control of the whole situation to make sure after days of various problems and no A/C- that he was going to make sure I was taken care of. And he succeeded with very motivated and ambitious applications to each step of the problem all day into night. Alot of servicemen sent- each one having and adding their own particular knowledge and experiences- eventually put together- for a good outcome - to a complex multi-faceted problem. And I make note-one of the problems wasn't even their business domain- but once they figured it out- they went in and eradicated it anyway to make certain I would have A/C. Which I thankfully do. I have had an Aztil service agreement now for a few years. Best investment one can make in this troublesome times. AC kept going off, my little voice instructed me to change the thermostat batteries (I knew the unit overall was in good working order). As soon, as I changed the double AA batteries, it began working again. Batteries kept draining. Call this morning and by 11AM tech Rob S, was at my door masked, professional and cordial. I explained the scenario. Rob removed the Thermostat cover and shorted out the wires to the fan. The unit came right. He suggested that I needed a new thermostat. He offered me two options: A) I can purchase one and install myself or b) purchase from Aztil (with a 5 year warranty). I choose to have Rob install it. I have a so called "service contract" with Aztil. They claim, in addition to maintaining the A/C, to cover appliances, plumbing, etc. Caveat emptor! Recently I had a leaking faucet. I had to call 4X & get different broken promises before they scheduled a visit. Then they didn't show up! Today after several more attempts to get them, they showed up, late. The rep took one look at the sink & said: "We don't do this , get a plumber!" When they come for the AC, you can bet they'll find some item outside the contract for an additional fee. When I first signed up with a maintenance contract a few years ago, they were good now they are the worst. It takes four weeks to get an appointment for preventative maintenance. I had somebody come this past Tuesday to do the preventative maintenance after he was done, I went out, came home, got a notification on my phone that the thermostat was no longer connected to the Wi-Fi. I proceeded to go check the thermostat only to find it not properly connected to the wall mount, I reconnected it only to find it was not working at all after checking the circuit breakers all the electrical I could not get the air condition system to work. I called the following morning after not being able to sleep because the house was too damn hot. Nobody showed up until 3 o'clock in the afternoon during which time I went to Home Depot purchase another thermostat just in case of the guy screwed it up, I continue doing some research myself to see what might be wrong. I found the drip pan to be full of water. So this leads me to believe the gentleman that did the service did not blow out the drain lines as soon as I got the wet vac, vacuumed out all the water, the thermostat came on, the second technician shows up around 3 o'clock in the afternoon blows out the lines. I explain to him what happened, but the first guy did not do his job. He assured me somebody from the office would call and apologize for my for my inconvenience here. It is now Friday, and nobody has called me yet. They went from being a good company with good service to a lousy company with lousy service and it takes weeks to get an appointment. THE WORST UNSCRUPULOUS AND DISHONEST company. 2 years ago, I left a review for this company about the poor washer machine repair service and the poor customer service I received. Since I have a contract, I "had" to call them again since my AC would not cool below 80 degrees. Before calling them, in my own checkup, I noticed a "thick fluorescent greenish liquid" coming out of what I thought was a nut located on the part (Fan/condenser?) located outside of the house. My A/C is in the attic. Since I had already a bad experience with this company, I asked a friend to check the "weird liquid" that was leaking from that "nut". My friend confirmed that freon was coming out of the suction valve (I think that's what he said). He then told me that "my company" would need a machine/vacuum that would collect the freon and store it and after replacing the valve, they would just put the freon back on. So this is what brings me to what happened today (06/16/23). I called Aztil. When I called and gave my address, the 1st thing I was told: if you don't remove the review, we won't be able to do service. It's obvious they had a note in my file about the review I did 2 years ago. I found it very unprofessional, however, I told the person that my call was not related to that review. They asked me again if I would delete the bad review. Desperate for my AC to be fixed (temp today was close to 100), I said that if they would take care of my AC, I would. They sent Antonio who came to my house the same day. I told Antonio that the AC would not go below 80 degrees. He said that he would have to do a leak check on the entire AC ($$$). I told Antonio exactly what I had seen and that my friend who is a refrigeration technician confirmed where the leak was and that it was not necessary to check for more leaks. When I show him the part and the leak stain, He said "Ok, I see. I'll come tomorrow with the machine/vaccumm, replace the valve and put the freon back. However, he told me that he needed to put 3 pounds of freon and that would cost me $90 a pound. I agreed and went inside my house. A couple of minutes later, he came in and told me that his service manager needed to talk to me, that he couldn't do the service. I called Aztil and the service manager took the call. He refused to identified himself, and immediately said "oh Mrs (my last name) no, you did it wrong! You had someone who worked your AC and who knows what that person did, you should have called us first. We won't fix it now". I tried to explain that the person confirmed (visually) what the problem was, so that Aztil knew and would not have to do a full leak check. I told him that I had a contract. I asked him to have his technician confirm that the AC had not been serviced or altered but he wouldn't listen to me. The manager came back to say they won't fix it. I mentioned again about my contract and that if they denied service, I would do another review. He hung up on me. The technician was in front of me and witnessed it. I called again & another person picked up the call. When I said my name, he started yelling at me saying that since I threatened to do another bad review, to not call them again and he hung up on me. As that person was literally screaming, Antonio could hear the yelling and said "that must be Jack". Antonio was very apologetic and he expressed how embarrassed he was by how they treated me. I called Aztil again and Peter answered the phone. When he asked if I was (my name) and I said yes, he just told me not to call them again and hung up. I called again, and the person who was yelling at me earlier answered this time. He started yelling at me again, not allowing me to talk. I asked him not to yell at me and not to disconnect the call again, that I only needed their names and to refund the rest of the unused contract. The person just screamed "It will be prorated and we'll mail you a check!" and hung up. To be honest, better! ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE, POOR, HORRIBLE TREATMENT TO THEIR CUSTOMERS! Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM AZTIL! They charge for services you don't need! read more

2 weeks ago they came out for my bad thermostat. I have had to call 5 times, it is under warranty, I have given them the serial number, I have talked to the manufacturer and I am still waiting. I have NEVER gotten a return call, I regrettably have a service contract and get absolutely no service. Meanwhile my air conditioner runs when it's not suppose to and doesn't when it should. One excuse was the distributer didn't call them back. It was 8 days and they didn't think to call them again. Great lack of service. read more

Be careful in dealing with this company. We had an emergency with our central AC, called them to evaluate what the problem was. A nice man came; however, he painted the worst picture. Told us the fan motor was broken, along with a drain pipe. That to replace the fan motor alone would cost $1,200. However, he said, the unit overall was very old and should be replaced. Gave us an estimate of $4,500. Cost for the visit: $115. We decided to get a second estimate, and followed through on a referral to another company who came promptly. Yes, the fan motor needed to be replaced and we were given an estimate of $600. We decided to get it done. Actual charge $582 and we were NOT charged for the visit. Run as fast as you can!!! Never sign up for a service contract with this company; they charge you the "free"labor with overpriced parts. When I had A/C problems they gave me instead of 20% discount as stated in the contract their service contract a 500% surcharge on parts. When I called them because my fridge was not working the technician gave me an estimate for over 570.00 USD in parts (evaporator fan, condenser fan, 2 control board parts) and recommended me to buy a new fridge. I called another company for a second opinion. They figured out that the fan blades had fallen off the fan motor module. No charge for parts at all and my fridge is working perfectly fine again. Aztil AC This is a very difficult company to deal with; customer service is very poor. One wonders how they got so big. I had to replace the AC ductwork in the attic. Paul the salesman was very pleasant. I explained to him I had 2 units, a 3 ton and 5 ton. The 3 ton supplied 3 rooms. He concurred. Job started on Saturday; lots of mess with insulation falling from vents. Was told they had finished the 3 rooms supplied by 3 ton. Problem was wrong 3 rooms. Was supposed to return on Monday but was no show. During this whole process spoke to Mark, Eric, Sam, LG, Semantha and Michael. Seems like the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing. I asked to speak to Gayle Lionetti, the owner. Was told abruptly, Unavailable multiple times. Was told her daughter would call me but never did. Crew returned and I showed them they hooked the 3 ton units ducts to wrong rooms. I don't know how they could have done that. It all had to be redone. One of the techs had an accident and put his leg through the ceiling which was repaired. They screwed around with that. First they sent Juan from J1 Drywall and then said they got someone better, Jose who never showed. Juan came back and fixed it. Finally, Gary Kelman, the service manager called. Very nice guy; the only person other than the salesman Paul that was pleasant to deal with. I gave them a credit card for the deposit when the work was started. Then, upon completion they charged that credit card without my authorization not knowing if I wanted to use that card. I have never seen that done before. In summary, a terrible experience dealing with this company. I would rate them 0 stars but you cannot submit without selecting a star. read more

aztil ac company, came to my house on january 4, 2022 to install a new air condition and a new air handler, the old air handler, was leaking only for a day prior, in two difference spot, when the techinican enter the house both spot was wet,but none was never crack on the ceiling, the very spot where the tecnician install handler, was where they crack the ceiling, but the other wet spot was never crack,we notice the ceiling was crack and push though a little, when we called the aztil and explain what was happing the hung the phone and i tried to call multiply time before they called back, then aztil told me to fix it myself with some spackle that i should go out and buy, we called back and they came out and took pictures, and than they said they will have a manger call me to fix the crack in a week, but never did, we called in two week, and they promised again to have a manager call back but no manager never did, they also left pices of the old air handler, in the attic which they promised to come and get it but never did, as american, even a couple of dollars, it hard sometimes to comeby, but when u put your faith and trust in an ac company that you spend every dollar you have, and in returned that ac company turn around and stab you, it not only affect your hearth but ur family as well read more

Called them to say my unit was leaking water. They came out to say you need a new unit. I have done every maintenance on this unit from new motor to new blue light to new coils. Now he said I'm low on Freon but no guarantee so just go for a new unit. I told him I'll be checking out prices and he said if you buy from someone else my warranty will be voided our even though I have 3 years left on all my appliances. Too many bad reviews and yes I'm going to file with the BBB also. I was having trouble with my A/C thermostat. It was not working properly. I changed the batteries 6 times and I could barely see the numbers. I call them at 9 am Monday, they were here before noon. The thermostat needed to be replaced. The technician Navarro was great. Very friendly and he let me check all the batteries I used with his battery meter. This is in Lake Worth, Florida, not California. After 7 different technicians looked at my six year old a/c, my unit was still not working and I and my husband, as seniors, were left sweltering in 90+ degree weather for days. I was told I needed a new condenser motor and fan, which Aztil put in and for which they charged me $695.  It still did not work. They said I now needed a compressor.  I needed to call a different company to get a second opinion and get the a/c working promptly, for health reasons. The company told me that Aztil put in the wrong motor.  I called and they insisted that motor was just as good.  I called Rheem Manufacturing directly and the a/c customer service guy confirmed that the motor they put in was not as efficient and could cause problems in the future.  He said they should have replaced the motor with the same one (albeit new) as they took out. The people at Aztil went on the offensive, both rude and loud.  I wrote a strongly worded email to the owner that outlined everything.  Suddenly I got a call saying they would replace it and, oh yeah, they only meant it to be temporary to begin with. Please note that I am a senior, living in a 55+ community, with a one story villa and the a/c condenser on the top of the roof.  Aztil also accepted full pay for what they now termed a "temporary motor". I would never have known the wrong motor was put in had it not been for the other company. Aztil cancelled my contract because someone else worked on the u-nit. I requested a prorated refund for the unused 17 months, which they denied.  I also requested a 20% refund for the preferred customer discount I was supposed to get according to the contract, and not reflected on the invoice. They denied that too, even with all the aggravation and stress they caused, not to mention untrustworthiness. I would NEVER let them touch anything in my home ever again. read more

I was charged $80 for a tune up and the tech came in a personal vehicle, spent about 10 minutes at my house, advised I did not need any gas but I needed a my coil cleaned but it could not be done until next week, so we contacted another company and they removed the coil to clean it and advised us that the coil is damaged causing the gas to leak out and become low. After the coil was replaced and the system was recharged (all by a different company) we contacted Aztil and after many times we had to call back and days and days of waiting for return calls and tracking down the employee we were advised to speak to, he told us we would be getting an $80 refund check in the mail. We waited around and finally 2 weeks went by so we called them again, we talked to a few different people, they were all rude, belittling and unprofessional. They lied and said they never said we were getting a refund and they will take us to court before giving us our $80 refund. We were completely ripped off by Aztil and I do not recommend anyone to allow them to steal their money. read more

This year, Aztil was recommended to us by another condo owner in our development. They called us back and got us on the schedule quickly. Their quote was fair (actually less than we paid last yr). They showed up within the 2 hr window they scheduled. Best of all, Dave and Jose were amazing ! Efficient, tidy, put everything back like they weren't even here. I have a contract with Aztil. I am supposed to pay for parts and labor is free. I have a problem with my GE oven. They said the part was almost $100. I called GE and they said the part was $50. I called Aztil and they said it was $100. They are getting $50 for labor that is supposed to be free. I said I would get the part and they could put it in. They refused! This is a scam! They do ok for a/c issues and come fairly quickly for that. However, I also paid extra for appliance protection and they are really bad with that. I had a refrigerator problem. After 7 days of waiting, a man showed up at 6pm for a 1pm appointment. Just diagnosed the problem, no fix. Ok. Got a call 2 days later, saying someone would be over in 5 days to fix it. Again, after waiting home all day, finally at 7pm a man shows up to NOT fix anything, but to diagnose again. He said no one told him to bring the parts. So.....waited another week, and was promised an early morning appointment. Once again, man didnt show until 7pm. He did fix it, replacing a hose.... charged me $135 which was supposed to be just the cost of the hose... that's impossible, but they wouldn't show and bill they got that shows their cost. Whole event was very aggravating and shows a complete lack of understanding when it comes to basic customer service. If looking for a vendor for ac or appliances, do yourself a big favor and find a smaller, more customer oriented company, one that actually cares and forget Aztil read more

DO NOT USE! They took advantage of my grandmother. Came out and said the unit needed to be replaced. Immediately called another company who has been in business over 20 years. The freon had been either purposely lowered or the technician chose to ignore it but decided to come to the conclusion that it had to be replaced, which of course costs thousands. DO not do a service contract with them. If there is a small repair they won't do it. Instead they will tell you it requires a much larger fix that costs hundreds. Will be reporting them to BBB.
