First of all, I want to say that I love the service here. Everyone is super nice and helpful when I have questions, and they give great recommendations. The drinks are on point. 4 stars are for the taste of the drinks, the nice variety of drinks offered, the friendly staff, and the location. A couple of suggestions for improvement ( reason why I'm holding off on the last star). First, the actual boba balls, though they are the right texture, are completely devoid of flavor. They should use honey boba like other boba places. Second, service is a bit slow when they are busy but right now, I don't mind that much because trust that as they continue and possibly hire more staff, this kink will get worked out. read more

Seen this place a few times but came here today for the first time. I got the Hokkaido milk tea with boba. Very good and has a real milk tea flavor unlike some other places where I can tell they use a cheap mix powder. The service was very fast. The ambiance is nice and laid back also. I usually get the strawberry mango tea with the strawberry popping boba. The food is also good considering they are a drink place. They have food in the right proportions. Best boba place in the area (though that's not saying much...). You can adjust the sweetness of the drinks which is crucial to me because I prefer my drinks to be not very sweet. The boba pearls can be a little inconsistent, sometimes a bit too soft. Sometimes they clog the straw, but overall their tea is very good. The cups are really nice and high quality too. This place is more than a boba place, it's a central meeting place for our local community, and it's incredible. What stood out to me the most was the consistency of service I receive from their young employees. I came with my mom on a very busy day and I was amazed by the ladies behind the counter. Their amazing customer service, their ability to make beverages at a fast pace, and even while the owner was gone, I didn't hear a single word of grumbling from their mouth. Amazing. This was our first time here. I believe this was a sushi restaurant before. I love that sushi place! When you enter you have plenty of seating area to choose from, they also have outdoor seating. Each Drink regular size $5.5 Popcorn was prob $5 Now for the drinks! Both the mango and Taro smoothies were on their house special menu. You have to mix these drinks first. But before you do, take a cute pic-then mix! You're welcome! There's no Tea in these drinks. They both come with a cream base in the middle, can't really taste the flavor of the cream but it made the drinks creamier. The Taro smoothie - which is called their Taro & Hokkaido w/ Caramel slush, was good. I asked to not include the caramel in my drink. At the bottom of the Taro, had some kind of flavor, I can't recall- if it tasted like UBE (which is a purple yam) or something else, whatever it was complemented the texture of the drink. The mango slush tastes like store bought mango, the bottom had a super sweet mango taste, almost jelly like consistency. Boba balls- their boba balls were perfect texture! For the food- I only got their popcorn chicken. I only had one piece of popcorn chicken then took a photo of it. It was a small order. If you've never had Korean popcorn chicken before, you def have to try it here! Its dusted with their garlic powder. It was not garlicky at all! Super Yummy crispy chicken inside and out. Be careful might be too HOT! My only complaint was, I wish they put more per order. I only got 8 or 9 piece I think. I honestly would've paid more for the chicken if there was a good amount. I have to say this is the best boba stop in the area, the price is wonderful and they have so many options. I used to visit A Tea Thing before I discovered this place. They are both great tea shops, but I'm going to be coming here because the price is right. I will not take off a star for it because it is not Azuki we have an issue with, but I have had a few incidents with a certain employee at the store. He is a young Asian teen, he has black parted hair and seems to wear a hoodie most of the time. he has been quite rude and seems to have an attitude and no hospitality skills. He just waits annoyed for you to order, takes forever to complete it, and doesn't say anything else. You say thank you, you get ignored! We come here often, and it is only him we ever really have a problem with. I understand that it is busy, and work is tough for everyone, but as this is a place of business, and we are customers who have worked customer service, we expect a bit more kindness. We always tip, and our last visit made us regret it as we waited 20 minutes for two drinks, while everyone that ordered after us were served first including "regulars" who got their order rushed. When reminded of our drinks, he said "yup I'm making it right now" and finally completed the order. We said thank you, and to our dismay nothing as always, not even a sorry. Disappointing. read more

I ordered the silky mango latte, and it was really good! i really tasted the mango and I typically am not a fan of matcha, but I love the way the matcha here is made. Staff was great. Boba was good. Egg pudding topping is not good -- kind of runny and gross. As a drink topping, you lose it completely (no solid chunks of pudding coming up your boba straw). I also added it as a topping to my matcha waffle, and that's how I saw it was runny. You can add unlimited free toppings to a waffle order, but due to the way the waffle is served (bent into a cup with the toppings in the cup as well), I don't recommend adding ice cream. They will put the ice cream at the bottom of the cup, so the heat from the waffle melts the ice cream and the melted ice cream makes the waffle soggy -- by the time you get to the bottom of the cup, it's a room-temperature soggy mess. The taro "mud" in the Sweet & Creamy Taro Latte is quite sweet, so I wish they could make the taro paste with only fresh taro, no added sugar, and let people customize the drink sweetness and mix the taro in with the drink as they like. All of the fruit teas are made with oolong tea plus fruit-flavored syrup -- so none of these fruit teas can be caffeine free (unless you ask for water instead of oolong tea) or made with zero sweetness (the minimum is 25%). I wish they had actual unsweetened, caffeine-free fruit drinks. read more

Went here with my friend and got a dirty milk tea and the taro with boba. Very tasty the dirty milk tea and taro both had syrup around the cute reusable cups which was very pretty. Taste wise both were delicious and exactly what we both looked for in our flavors, the boba was very soft and squishy you can tell they're making it freshly throughout the whole day.
