Food was good. Service was excellent!!! Myself and two friends had lunch here on Sunday. Coming around 2 pm was perfect as it wasn't busy at all. Large crowd came just as we were wrapping up. Restaurant is nicely decorated in authentic Mexican designs. We enjoyed their homemade chips and salsa while having our beverages and waiting for our food. I didn't have any alcoholic drinks so I can't comment on them but the selections on the menu sounded delicious. The chips were light with a nice crunch just the way I like it. My friends commented the spicy and mild salsa were flavorful. I ordered the Steak and Shrimp Fajita which came out sizzling hot and tasty - seasoned well. I substituted rice for fries and a traditional salad - no guacamole or pico de gallo. My friend's Pineapple Fajita was not only cool looking but also tasty from the few bites I tried. Our other friend enjoyed his steak tacos. Overall it was a great experience. I unfortunately forgot our server's name who was extremely nice. She was familiar with the menu and gave me perfect recommendations along with making substitutions. We all appreciated her timeliness with checking on us and offering refills. My boyfriend and I went here on a Friday night before the movies. Location: The restaurant is small inside but inside of a plaza with more shops and restaurants. When its packed you will sit close together. Parking: It's in a plaza so there is plenty of parking Service: The service was good, we waited for about 7 minutes for seating, and after we ordered and waited 10-15 minutes for food. We did not have to make reservations. Our server was nice, but due to being busy -- we only saw her a couple of times which was fine because it was date night Ambience/Crowd: Casual family atmosphere Food/Drink: 4/10 for food -- I had a chimichanga and beans with rice and my bf had chicken nachos, there was no flavor. This is a hidden gem. The customer service was outstanding. I made a reservation for 30 people and they were able to accommodate us with no delay in service. It is a small establishment but that does stop the warm atmosphere. Our group order several different items off the menu and not one person had a complaint. The food came out hot and fast. This is definitely an authentic Mexican restaurant. We were passing by a few days ago, and decided to dine here. My family and I love Mexican food. Our waitress was really attentive and friendly. I forgot her name, but she wears glasses and petite. We started off with drinks, than our appetizer, and entree. I only wanted the shrimp chowder. It was plentiful and delicious. My family loved their dinner as well. We took lots of leftovers home, and will dine in, here again soon. read more

Located in Fayetteville (across from the hospital). I went in the middle of the day on a Wednesday so there was no wait. Server was pretty fast, friendly. Pros: -The Texas House Special was very good. It's a heavy dish, but guac & pico were great complements to help lighten it. -Chips were light and the salsa was refreshing. Cons: -Server disappeared when it was time for me to leave. -Several bottles of purée were open at the bar that I assume should be covered when not in use. -Most of the chips were broken. On more than one occasion she has ordered and it has come with sour cream and flour tortillas, or other mixups, even after making notes online in two different locations on the TO GO order. I noticed this place as I was just curious driving through the shopping center to see what they all had. Came in today with my family and I have to say...it was really quaint. Nice little restaurant, small Bar and patio but super cozy. The weather was nice and no one was on the patio so my family and I decided to take the patio. They were a bit slow (5-7 minutes) to come to my table for a drink order and to bring menus but our server "Shirley" was absolutely wonderful. I order the pork tacos and the pork was under seasoned and a bit dry which tells me it wasn't made soon. Seemed to be pulled pork that was made days ago. But the onions, sauce and cillantro were great! My husband and girls ordered the Texas fajitas for two and let me tell ya....the shrimp were amazing, peppers and onions were good and the meat was ok (i.e. chicken and steak). I was hoping for the meat to be a little more seasoned or cooked with some butter. Anywhoo....Chips were wonderful. Queso is a must! So good. And I had the strawberry Margarita with a sugar rim. I normally enjoy the food from El Reposo but of course I always order the same thing the Carne Asada Taco's very delicious. I decided to try something different today and was very disappointed!!! I ordered a chicken Chile Rellano, Burrito, and Taco combo. OMG it was the worst, the ground meat was rushed and was in clumps, the tortilla was like mush because of all the watery sauce that was dumped over my burrito and Chile Rellano! It was all one big pile of watery sauce with mushy tortilla, everything was just mushy I tried to eat it but could not finish it was disgusting!!! I wish I could show a picture!!! We had seen this place several times when we were having dinner at the Village Cafe next door. We finally decided to try it out. You can enter on either side of the building; you don't have to park on the side facing Hwy 54. The inside is bright and airy. I wouldn't necessarily have guessed that from outside. The menu has a decent array of options. For combos, rather than using the semi-standard set of Mexican Restaurant numbers, they just let you choose 1, 2, or 3 main items (along with rice & beans) and charge accordingly. I opted for this and the food was fine. My wife got a 3 taco platter, and liked it. Service was good; our waiter was attentive. Overall, if I lived closer to the restaurant I might go more frequently. As it is, there are a few similar places closer to us. read more

Use to love this place. Unfortunately, have seen the quality of cleanliness decrease over the years. The last 2 visits the women restroom was absolutely filthy (You know what they say if the restroom is filthy, everything else is filthy). Last time the final straw was seeing the kitchen cook some out of the ladies room without washing her hands, literally straight out of the stall back to the kitchen. When I reported to management, I was told she didn't wash her hands in the bathroom because there is a sink in the kitchen. Typically this has been my Go To spot for Mexican food and I visit every Cinco de Mayo with my girlfriends and we have a blast. We are always participating in events like bull rides, etc. Unfortunately this Cinco de Mayo I was dining alone as girlfriends had prior engagements. My issue is with the overall lack of inclusiveness I was made to feel from the DJ/host who pretty much is in charge of the celebration. Several times I observed him passing out the many nice tee shirts and hats that are freebies for the diners and he refused me on several pass bys either ignoring me or stating things like "I don't see you drinking". Well I had just sat down at a table and was ordering when that was said. I watched him give to many tables around me despite me waving my hand. After my meal and drink was finished he decides to ask me did I want a plastic necklace? At that point I replied no I don't want anything This is terrible Customer Service! first of all I am already trying to enjoy a celebration as a Lonewolf and the hostess sat me in the center of the floor at a four person table, which was a bad strategy to begin with. Secondly, the host should have seen how uncomfortable that might have been for someone dining alone, and at least try to include them in the celebration which he did not. He took tequila shots to several of the tables around me, but never offered me one. I bought my own. As a person whose job should be to make everyone's experience a joyful one this DJ/host failed miserably. My last comment is the food was tasteless this visit and the frozen drink machine was not making the drinks as they should be and this was only a few hours after they opened. I thoroughly enjoyed my waitress, who took it upon herself to show concern for me. However, because of my overall experience, I will not be returning to this establishment in the future there are too many other Mexican restaurants out there, who would love to have my business. read more

Ate here on advice from a friend saying their Pollo Relleno was the best Mexican dish they ever had. My wife and I both got it and we pretty much agreed with our friend. We both asked how we could come here and ever try anything else after eating that. Big piece of flattened grilled chicken filled with chorizo, spinach, mushrooms, and squash folded over and topped with cheese dip.
