If you are a fan of bland over priced non traditional Mexican food with rude service then this is the place for you. I can not believe that everything I ordered was so horrible, not to mention the fact that they served my children raw chicken tenders. When I brought it to the managers attention he gave me an attitude and told me that the chef was new and everyone makes mistakes. Thank God I cut up my children's food or they would have eaten the raw chicken with uncooked batter. If all that wasn't bad enough they overcharged my credit card and can you believe the cashier then tells me to call my bank and dispute it instead of fixing it for me then and there. One of my favorite Mexican spots! They have something for everyone. I am a vegetarian and love the mushroom enchiladas and the taquitos de papas. My husband loves the carnitas! My son was very happy that he asked for the picture. The man and my son did this cool hand shake my son thought he was very cool. Have been wanting to try this restaurant for some time. Decided to stop in this evening after running some preholiday errands and order something to go. Was greeted by an expressionless girl with long brown hair who seemed bothered by having to work. After reviewing the menu we informed her that we were ready to order and she looked at us with an attitude and told us to wait 5 mins. Tried to ignore her rudeness and decided to inquire about dining in. She was again annoyed nearly rolling her eyes and said that we had to wait 30 mins. Who hires someone like that? We went for a late diner on a week day. The only reason I am rating this restaurant 2 stars is because of the warm ambience it has and the one server that was nice enough to attempt and fix the horrible entree that was served. We ordered a couple of items and our order was wrong. When asked we ordered crunchy tacos, she said well this is grilled crunchy! I wasn't sure if I should get mad or laugh at her response?! Second entree was not eatable!! It smelled as if it was picked out of a trash! Served bloody raw! Returned both and gave them a chance to correct it. I honestly did not expect a lot from this restaurant but I was blown away by their lunch specials and margaritas. My fiancé and I dined in on a weekday noon. It was busy at the lunch hour and most of the tables were taken. Although it was busy, we were well taken care of by our waitress. She checked in on us and made sure our needs were met. We were drawn to the restaurant because of the prices of the lunch special. There are various dishes for less than $10. Because of the price, I did not expect much but it did not disappoint. It was very delicious and portions were generous. We decided to do the combo plate in which you could choose from tamale, crispy taco, enchilada, and chile relleno. We both got enchilada and chile relleno and loved it. We also ordered house margaritas which was amazing. It offered a good buzz with just one serving. They also serve complementary chips and dip. Horrible service. Do not recommend Azul Tequila. Went there this week to grab lunch. There was no host/hostess at the front to greet and take your name and number of ppl in my party. After waiting in line with 8-10 other ppl I left after 15-mins of not being approached or attended. The wait staff would just look at the people in-line and ignore us. Great service, great food, great prices and overall a great restaurant. We sat at the bar and my only complaint was that there was a big pillar blocking the big tv from where we were sitting but the smaller tv's were fine. The food was all brought out quickly and it was delicious! They have big portions, but leftovers are always good for lunch the next day. I also had the mango margarita and it was really good! Very noisey. We could not even hear our table guests talk. It took a very long time for us to be able to put in our order. They got my margarita order incorrect they did not refill our other guests soft drinks it took a long time for the food to come out and two of our orders were wrong so I just have to say it was okay but not enough for me to want to go back. read more
