It was okay. They only serve breakfast items until 12. So the description is not exactly accurate. "Brunch" suggest late breakfast is available. I'm guessing they want to attract as many people as possible. I had a portobello burger and sweet potato fries. The meal was good and reasonably priced. Staff was ok, the host with red hair was the only one who smiled and she seemed genuinely nice but the waitresses made me feel uncomfortable with lack of hospitality. read more

Great spot for breakfast. I like the self serve coffee. Never have to wait for the second cup. Specials are creative. Nice thick slices of Rye Toast. Waitstaff are always friendly. Get their early or you will be waiting for a table. read more

Reading the reviews I can't believe you are describing the same place I went to last night. Place was empty for dinner service was horrible, saw our waitress once to take our order. The burger came with cherry tomatoes left over from a salad on it lettuce that was shaved and brown. Burger tasted like a Walmart frozen patty, id I ever eat one of those... so not the place I remember going on a regular basis... Staff are there to serve not socialize. Cooking a burger should not take a half hour with an empty restaurant... my final thought waitress never came with bill. I had to go find some to pay.. read more

Best burgers in Westerly hands down!!! I love the TK burger but also love the Oak burger as well. The Oak sauce is incredible--get some on the side for your fries! The fries are delicious and there are plenty of options for seasonings. Service is always friendly. Can be a bit of a wait for food at times but always feel well-taken care of and staff is friendly. Breakfast is also decent. Definitely a must-try! read more

Not much has changed other than the location for B&B. The new location offers more seating & a larger bar. If you're looking for the same awesome burgers from Oak Street they have you covered. I just grabbed a TK burger at the bar & washed it down with a Goose Island IPA. They have 4 taps now but nothing "craft" which is disappointing but I just found out they've been serving milkshakes! I was informed that the oak chips are "out of season" but their new fries were pretty damn solid. They weren't too thin cut but were crispy & I was given more than even I could eat. I'll definitely be back for more burgers & breakfast too. read more

We stopped by for lunch and were blown away. The owner and staff were extremely helpful and the food is delicious! Great dock side vibe; we enjoyed the patio. Things we can recommend (but want to eventually try it all): The DK Burger (an off-menu gem!) The Popper (one of the sexiest burgers ever created!) The Onion Rings (A M A Z I N G) the chili (we had a cup and it was perfect) Soups and Salads are fresh and really good! Try the clam chowder! (They have a Manhattan style I believe it's called? Tomato base). They also have some homemade hot sauces that pack the perfect amount of heat. They accommodated with all of our special orders, too. Great price for such EXCELLENT food! We've been loyal.to this establishment for many years. Within the last year evertime we've ordered its been fair. Tonight was aweful. We ordered from a menu we took from the restaurant a few months ago to refresh the one we've had for awhile. Ordered the TK burger, Bellporto burger, sm steak & the Bar B Cuban. We picked up our order came home & the Bellaporto is now a mushroom, spinach & blue cheese on a bun....no burger for the same price. The Bar B Cuban was suppose to have "Swiss, creamy cucumber slaw" which did not have either. I called regarding both and was told the Bellaporto is now on the Not Burgers menu even though when I called I specified the Bellaporto Burger. Im assuming I was sent to the manager owner who said theqq1 same without apologizing as she's rude as $?#? So I never had the chance to say anything about to Bar B Cuban. No worries. The food and service are consistently great and so far we have not had a disappointing visit, although I do wish it wasn't so popular for wait time purposes! The restaurant is located on the river near a small marina just outside of downtown Westerly making it just quiet enough to enjoy but conveniently located. The menu, both breakfast and lunch, are extensive but not so much that they don't do everything very well. We've had the omelettes, burgers, and in between with no disappointments including bringing some very picky eaters with us. They have a mix of large tables and small so it is good for groups and definitely good for families. I know they have wine and beer with some local brews on tap, not sure but possibly a full bar. You won't be disappointed with coming here, just allot a little extra time for typically busy time periods. read more

Fear not fans of Oak Street B & B. They are not gone. They have moved to Margin Street off of Beach Street. Just a little closer to town. The menu has stayed pretty much the same with a few changes. Oak Chips are now seasonal. (Aren't you glad they didn't change the name to Dock Chips? That just sounds....wrong.) There are french fries and onion rings available to fill the void. A couple of new sandwiches and a FULL LIQUOR LICENSE! The same place, only better. Loads of parking and the restaurant itself is beautiful. Highest recommendation! read more

I have only ever came here for brunch. Unique variety of alcoholic breakfast drinks. Not impressed with the food though. Extremely small portions with high prices. Got steak and eggs, the steak was maybe 4x4in. Everyone in our group that got hashbrowns said they tasted frozen & had absolutely no seasoning on them at all. The pancakes were just plain sad. I could make better ones from a box. They were dry and flavorless and thick. Plenty of better places to grab breakfast/brunch and not pay as much as this place charges. read more

When we arrived, there were only a couple parties seated, but by the time we were mid-way through our meal / leaving, the place was packed. Our server helped us with understanding some of the items on the menu and also warned us about some of the iteme they didn't have, like pepperoni, mushrooms, and donuts. With that in mind, we ordered risotto balls to start and the pesto egg and cheese sandwich (baked fresh eggs, pesto, cheddar cheese, lemon aioli, brioche roll) and Dijon and lemon chicken salad sandwich (slow roasted chicken thighs, lemon aioli, herbs, local greens, pickles, and side of fries) for the main meals. The Yaupon iced tea caught our attention since it has indigenous tea with rotating fruit fusion so we ordered one just to try it. The risotto balls came out a little sooner than the other items. We loved the crispy outside, but not a huge fan of the inside since it was mostly risotto with not enough cheese or something to glue it all together. The sauce tasted like a fancy marinara - it was tart, lightly sweet, but a tad acidic and herby too. In our minds, we imagined our main plates looking differently, but I think it was mostly because we didn't do a good job of reading the menu. The pesto sandwich was good. The eggs reminded us a lot of a quiche-spongey and light. It did not have a strong pesto flavor. The roll seemed homemade; it was good and airy. The Dijon lemon chicken salad sandwich was okay. The chicken thighs chunks were tender, and I could definitely taste the pickles, lemon, and Dijon. I think it needed more salt or even something sweet to balance out the acidic flavors. The bread was well toasted. The fries were delicious with the right amount of salt, crispiness, and variety. The iced tea was not our favorite as it tasted overly sweet which might've removed any fruit flavor. The staff was very attentive, they have lots of tables and high chairs to choose from, and lots of natural sun coming through the large windows.
