I've found my mechanic!!! Response to my message for service was fast, same day, nearly within the hour. Friendly customer service. Spoke with the mechanic about my issue BUD gave me a VERY reasonable price compared to what I was quoted by 4 other auto shops for the exact same job. BUD also made me aware of what additional issues might be found & their cost once he started the work so there would be no surprises later on. Work was done in the timeframe I was told. Great communication through out the process. When I picked up my vehicle he had all the old parts laid out so I could see exactly what was replaced. He took the time to explain what was done in a way I could understand. He actually fixed a few minor things I didn't even ask about at NO EXTRA charge. I had taken my vehicle to another place that did a 36 point inspection and BUD told me practically to the letter everything that was on the list I had gotten from the inspection without me even asking him to look for any of the items. He explained what might need attention now & other items that could wait. Hands down THE BEST AUTO SERVICE I have had to date! I almost couldn't believe it!! :) A+++ Service! Definitely would recommend! I certainly won't be taking my vehicles anywhere else!! FYI my vehicle is a Lexus SUV. I believe they specialize in Honda/Toyota brand vehicles but I'm sure BUD can fix anything!! read more

Been going to Bud for 10+ years now and I'm going to be sad the day I leave LA because this guy is probably the best worker that'll give it to you straight with no frills and extra bills. He's one of the hardest workers I know and is always courteous and professional. He's been a staple in the Thai community as well and always has the biggest smile even after working 12+ hours a day. If you got car problems, pay this man a visit. read more

Fantastic mechanic. I had to leave my previous mechanic. Now I'm with B&K. Reasonable pricing. $40 for AC recharge (my previous mechanic wanted to charge me $80-90). Bud also properly diagnosed my AC issues. He popped up the hood and told me the hoses were leaking and the compressor was fine. We replaced the hose and now my AC is working just fine. Will be coming back for my auto needs from now on. read more

After losing my mechanic after 8 years due to COVID (out of business), it was very difficult and stressful to find a reliable and honest mechanic. Luckily I was able to find BUD just around the corner from where I live. Bud is a patient, detailed-oriented, knowledgeable mechanic. I am so relieved I was able to find a mechanic not to far from where I live. He definitely goes above and beyond and explains in detail the cost for parts and services. Prices are very fair. Ask for Bud he always exceeds my expectations, my Toyota Sienna engine turned off on the fwy so I had it towed to his shop, I smelled some burning from the engine and assumed it was going to be bad. Bud called me 2 hrs later and said the van was fixed. It turned out to be a bad ignition coil, a dishonest shop could of easily overcharged me with fake problems but not B & K! read more

A little hard to find and lacks parking, but the owner Bud makes up for all the deficiencies. Everyone needs a honest mechanic. This place is more than an hour drive from my house, but is well worth it. I recently changed my timing belt, water cooler, both front brakes for half what I was quoted in Irvine. It feels great when you find a place where you can take all your car needs. Honda, Toyota, Acura, Mercedes, BMW, they can do it all. I would recommend to everyone I know. read more

After I went once to this auto place, I decided that I'm never going anywhere else again. Bud is the nicest guy. He is honest and fair with prices and he really knows what he is talking about when it comes to cars. He fixes things in the time that he says he's going to fix it and he does it with a smile. I have been to Bud twice now for some auto work after being referred to him and both times I have found his service and pricing to be the best in LA. Another thing I I really like is that he shows me all the parts that been replaced and why which is very rare and he is very polite and honest in his work. Bud and crew have done great work on 4 of my bmw's. Very honest business. He even shows me the parts he replaced. Pricing is very affordable. Better than the stealership pricing. Bud truly is an amazing guy and mechanic. I trust him with my car and any repairs that might be needed. His very honest and can always explain what is wrong with your car. There is also another young man that repaired my fallen bumper for me at no charge. But I still gave him a tip for it. I've been here 3 times in the last 5 years and I have no complaints. Bus is an honest and reliable mechanic. I've been going to him for the past few years and have always been satisfied with his work. He is not just skilled, but he takes his job seriously, as he knows what he is doing. In contrast, not like other mechanics that i have been to they have to fiddle with everything, as for him we just tell him what is wrong he does it immediately. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ANYONE. I went in for transmission fluid change earlier in February in my Toyota Camry 2018. I bought OEM Toyota transmission fluid and asked Joe to help do drain and fill.The drain and fill was completed. After that there was a rough driving issues started. I went back to show my car to joe and he drove the car he told me he don't see any issues. I wanted him to check transmission fluid port on if there is low transmission fluid he didn't agree and told me I might be overthinking. I went to different mechanic in April and he checked. I paid $100 to reopen the port for transmission fluid and what we saw was no fluid came out from the primary port. He added 0.5 quarters left. The issues I have had for rough idle and need to have higher RPM on slope went away completely.According to him you have to keep the car running when you drain the fluid and you need to have it at the right temperature he said the drain and fill wasn't done correctly that's why there was still room for fluid. The viscosity of the fluid makes a difference in how much you can fill and drain. He double checked for leakage and there were no leaks either. When I went to joe and asked about don't you have to keep car warm to see if temperature is right? He said you only do it when there is a leak. I don't think Joe knew enough about mechanics of New car. I wasn't overthinking when I went to ask Joe for help and asked to recheck the transmission fluid. I paid $260 for labor only( $160 to Joe and $100 to another mechanic) for same job. It's really absurd. Overall this could have damaged my transmission. I think for future the customer advise should be taken seriously. I know my car well so I know when it's not acting good. I have been driving it from 10 years.

I was not able to go that week, however the following week I was nearby so figured I would just stop by and see if he could service my vehicle, but let him know I needed my car back by a certain time. He called about an hour before I needed it saying they were wrapping up and shared the final price which ended up being a few dollars less than the original estimate. My car (2019 Audi Q5) suddenly lost a lot of power while I was driving home (but still 30 miles away) so I was able to get it back home but had no clue as to why it was kind of doggin' it and I couldn't go more that 50 mph on freeway and between warning lights and the general understanding of how much car repair costs, I figured this could be $300 to $2000. Matt tells me they want to do a "smoke test"... $150 so I'm thinking, OK, smoke test then $1,000 to repair whatever issue they find. Nope. Smoke test showed a part adjacent to the turbocharger was loose so they tightened it up. Who gets out of a car repair shop for $150? Anyway... this isn't a HUGE shop with 8 bay and 12 mechanics but it's your reliable corner mechanic that has nice people, transparent communications and a clean shop. And it's the only place I'm going for the foreseeable future.
