Exceptional service overall!! I called Mitch late December because 1) I wanted to get a second opinion after recently getting an oil change from Hamer Toyota 2) my husband vouch for them as he's been going to Master Tech for many years now. You come in for one thing and you end up getting a laundry list of what's wrong with your car. That's what happened at Hamer Toyota. They said there were 4 things wrong: Worn tires Inverter coolant exchange Brake fluid flush Worn brake pads I just had my engine looked at 6 months ago so I was skeptic about the inverter coolant being an issue. I called Master Tech. I didn't have an appointment but Mitch heard me out and was able to see my car right away. He checked it out the next day early in the morning on New Years Eve. He saw the checklist from Toyota. He called and gave me an assessment over the phone. It turns out that there wasn't anything wrong with the inverter but I needed transmission service. Mitch replaced my front brake pad set and front brake rotors. He did the brake fluid flush and refilled the transmission fluid. My car was ready and good to go by the afternoon! I liked how the invoice clearly states the charge for parts and another column for labor (and why the service was needed). My dad and my brother (both experts in car maintenance) said that the prices were very reasonable. Mitch was courteous, professional, trustworthy and gave great personalized service. Do not bring your car to this repair shop! They up charge on the diagnostic and then they provide the worst advice so that you bring your car back to spend more money. They also up charge on the car parts that are triple the price. After picking up my car from the auto shop, my car broke down less than 20 miles driving it. After I had contacted them about this situation, they did not offer me any solutions but to do more work on the car that is going to cost me more money. SOUK Such a nice guy. My dad takes his land cruiser and h3 here all the time. This is actually my second time being here. I appreciate them very much. Last time I was here, it was to change the band in the engine cause the original one started undoing itself, and it was making a noise. I did not feel safe driving my 2014 Scion tC and they fixed it. I'm here a second time and it's for my back brakes to replace. I bought my own brakes to supply them. HIGHLY recommend coming here instead of the dealer to charge you extra. I was told by an acquaintance to bring my car to this place. The owner who has been there 2 decades supposedly is really knowledgeable and savvy with all kinds of automobiles. I had my car diagnosed for a clicking and was told that isn't really the problem. The problem is something very different and it would cost me $700.00. I brought my car in for one thing (clicking) and it was not resolved. I would have loved to hear " I don't know what that noise is!" instead of you need this other thing for $700.00. By the way, I called around and it is $450.00 cheaper for the "other thing that I need" in 3 places so he is pretty pricey. I am a woman that might have been part of it. Also, I paid over $100.00 just for the diagnostics which really did not address the clicking. Two stars for the friendly voice over the phone and leaving my car locked for later pick up. I am sure you will be able to find a decent mechanic at a much lower rate for a problem that currently exists. ***Update, the bearings were the "other things" and I had them checked by 2 other mechanics in the last week. There is nothing wrong with the bearings. Make sure you get a second and third opinion folks ..that is the lesson here*** Good Luck!!! read more

They made room to fix our car so that we could continue on our trip even though they were backed up with work. They even worked a little bit of overtime just to get us out the door.
