My Ford Focus had a catalytic converter error code and I took it to my usual mechanic. Knowing beforehand what it was, I was given the grim news of a repair job starting at hundreds of dollars. A neighbor of mine recommended Dodge Bros. I brought it in, and met Tony. Within 5 minutes, he explained the situation and basically said- the error code had an error. He cleared it and never came back on again. If Yelp ever had a Gold star rating, this business would deserve all 5. Thanks again Tony! I brought my vehicle in last week for inspection due to a small leak I noticed under the carriage. Luckily, this shop opened early and so I stopped by and Toni assisted me throughout the process. He informed me of what was leaking and told me to bring the car back the next day as he was quite busy that morning already. It was a valve cover gasket that needed to be replaced. I also asked to have the transmission fluid drained and replaced. Costs to repair these items were a little over 1K but do come with warranty (see paper receipt for info) He quoted that it would be ready by the end of the day around 2-3pm. Once I arrived at the shop, my car was ready as quoted. He has a really good team working well together to get customers' cars out in a timely manner. So far, my car is running well, and I will continue to monitor for any oil leaks (crossing my fingers that we nipped the issue) and I had a great experience overall. read more

Triple A recommended this shop, so I called ahead to confirm if I could tow my car here and provide me a quote for a starter. The initial quote was $125, which I assumed was just for the part, expecting the total to be around $250 to $300. I also had a $260 quote from another place, but I chose this shop since it was within the 7-mile free tow limit that Triple A covers. When I arrived, the owner, Tony, was rude and condescending. He claimed he thought I meant the battery, despite me clearly stating it was the starter. He quoted me $400 but begrudgingly accepted the 10% discount promised by triple a after making snide remarks about it. Given I had just paid $500 to get my disabled mom's van out of impound, $400 was a lot, but I still decided to proceed. Tony's attitude was nothing like what I read in other reviews; he clearly didn't care about his customers. He called me at 12:20 to say the car was ready, even though I had dropped it off at 10:30 and confirmed there would be no issues finishing it before they closed at noon. When I told him I lived 30 minutes away, he seemed irritated. When I arrived, he was socializing in his office and forgot to give me my keys. His employees were helpful, but Tony was dismissive and rude. I definitely do not recommend this shop. While his staff was friendly, Tony's attitude left a bad impression. Lesson learned! I do not recommend this place. I promise you guys there are better mechanics out there. He only has a known rep because he knows guys with cool classic cars, The reality is that, this dude is rude as hell. read more

Best of the Best! This is a professional shop that charges reasonable prices and completes the work FAST!. I had a leaking rear main seal which requires the entire engine to be dropped. Tony quoted me less than the 2 other shops I got estimates from. Other places told me I needed to leave the car for several days because it was such a big job. Tony and his crew got it done by 4:30 the same day! Work was perfect and he even diagnosed what was causing a braking vibration and took care of it for way less than I would have had to pay if I had done it as a separate repair. I'm sure these guys do some great work. Be prepared though to take everything out of your car before you bring it in there because even your dash cam will be stolen. The guy who owns the place Tony is part of a car ring where one guy buys the car from a dealership that buys the car from an auction. Then when you buy that car, you have to take it to only him to get it fixed. See what I mean? The guy's name is Marc Thompson and he will tell you that all the work is done at Dodge Brothers so they're the only ones that can work on that car. I did what I was told. I took my car to him, my car that I just paid a ton of money for. It was my choice and my responsibility to buy this used car I fell for the high-pressure sale thing and I just wasn't expecting that every person that touched that car was in cahoots with each other. I've never run into anything like this, but now that I have I feel it is my duty to warn. Every time Dodge Brothers touched my car. I either didn't make it home or made it home in the car wouldn't start again so back I would go to Dodge Brothers because that's what I was told to do and the same story would happen again. Wash. I went with an issue of my front light not coming on on one side of my car and a rattleing noise from underneath that had been bothering me while driving. They quickly checked my lights and wiring and got them working. And then took the car on a test drive and found the rattling issue and fixed it. They're a little far from us here in Reseda but we won't take our cars anywhere else, now. I have a 2004 4Runner and my wife has a 2010 Dodge Caliber. They service both. Prices are right in the ball park when you look it up on autorepair estimates. Yes the prices are fair but it's the extra care they offer. Took my daughter's car here to fix the engine splash cover. Came as a walk-in and Tony and his team were great. They took it off, didn't try to upsell. His tech noticed the front tires were worn (threads showing) and let me know. They're not a tire shop so definitely just looking out for safety. Brought my van for alternator repair. They quoted $550. They billed me $575.50 (including tax and labor). They charged my card more than what he billed me. When I asked why the difference, they said that there is a 3% transaction fee for all credit cards. Even with the transaction fee, they still charged my card more than what's supposed to. I also asked them if they could replace the driver seat control panel. They told me that they ordered the part and will arrive in a week. I called after a week to get an update and told me that the part didn't come yet and will call me when they get it. 3 weeks later, I haven't heard back from them and called to check. They said that they have the part and to bring the van over. I brought the van and it took 3 hours to get the van back. When I checked, they did not replace the panel, instead they put a glue (which did not hold). I told them about the panel and said to bring the van again. The next day, I got there and told me that the panel they got was for the passenger seat. They told me they ordered the correct panel and would call me when they get it. They haven't called. Very disappointed with the service. Never again. read more

I moved to the valley from Alhambra. I had a local mechanic there but had to accept the fact that I need to find a closer mechanic. I desperately needed an oil change so I took my little 2012 nissan Altima to a Nissan dealership. They told me I needed to get my oil gasket seal replaced, and that it would be $500. I decided to come to Dodge Bros and dropped off my car. Long story short, my car doesn't need a an oil gasket seal replacement.
