A dead fly inside my sandwich
    Rachel T.

I stopped in here because I thought it would fast. I order a bacon chicken sandwich to go. An eternity later, they call my name. Then tell me oops, this isn't your order - it's messed up. Sat there for twenty more minutes and eventually got up to ask where my food was. They had forgotten it behind the wall and never called my name. I eat half of my sandwich then unearth a DEAD FLY in it. Just about threw up. How does this happen?? Disgraceful.

    Sunnyside Harvest Bowl with chicken
    Jessica S.

Good size portions! I was full after eating the Harvest bowl with chicken (extra). The ratio of the chicken to quinoa and kale was weak though. I paid an extra $2.50 for maybe half a chicken breast amount. I ended up with a ton of extra quinoa at the bottom. Lunch can be very crowded so I ordered ahead of time and was able to grab it quickly.

    Build Your Own Burger

Pre-ordered "build your own combo". Had to wait for 20 minutes for the order to be ready. Veggie Burger: Brioche Bun, Mayo, lettuce, tomato, Red onion, pickles and cheddar. This tasted great, mayo was given separately (wish i got some more), and there was no tomato. Still, the burger tasted great. Fries: Were not fresh, and were a little soggy. Spindrift Sparkling Water (Lemon): Nothing to not like about it. Since I liked the burger a lot, I don't mind going again.

    Classic burger

. The orders there are no diversions like grilled onions or double meat. The person who takes orders doesn't no menu, and seen others complaining about there order as we were waiting for ours Food was surprisingly decent although the initial problems ordering. , 3 stars for the food and minus 2 for ordering., the person ordering should know the food.

Avocado Toast with bacon and egg.
    Victoria R.

I was only in Boston for a short time, but I came here twice. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and then the avocado toast with bacon and egg. All delicious. I loved that the sweet potato fries were oven baked (my inner dietitian rejoiced), the serving sizes were not too large or small, and the service was friendly and prompt. Not to mention the fresh and clean ingredients, this fact truly shines through in the food quality.

Toasted Almond & Ginger with no sauce and olive oil on the side
    Iris T.

I was looking for a healthy lunch and saw this place and decided to give it a try. I'm vegetarian but I don't eat onions or garlic. I explained it to the guy and he handed me this legit book of ingredients for b.good that listed out pretty much everything. I went through it and discovered that pretty much 98% of their sauces were off limits and some other prepared ingredients so I ended up modifying my order. Out of the choices, I chose the vegan Asian grain bowl because the rest had the aforementioned ingredients and it would pretty much change the entire thing. No sauce, olive oil on the side. I was tempted to add in the sweet potato fries which ate safe, but I didn't want to overdo it. The bowl was substantial. I also sprinkled a bit of salt over it and though not used to eating enoki mushrooms raw, it wasn't bad. I finished a little over half and then took the rest home to finish. I imagine it would be tastier with an actual sauce/dressing, especially when I was paying $10 for it. In the end, it was an okay experience with decent and healthy food - just not a lot of options. They did get a steady stream of customers while I was there so something must be done right. The tables weren't too clean though but they have decent restrooms that you need a key to use. Staff was pretty friendly and helpful for the most part.

Spicy avocado and lime. Next time ill ask for no cheese. My mistake. Its quite delicious!

Not quite sure who.Jim.is whi checked in.12 mins ago saying it was dirty here and employees were standing around. Its very clean.here and its after the lunch rush. I looked at his photo to try and find him but he probably checked in as he was walking by. Putz! They do a great job here. The service can be slow between.12 and 1:30 but thats because they are busy.

Classic egg bowl. Cut up the egg before I remembered to photograph this masterpiece. So delicious!

I was in the other day to try out the new breakfast menu. I ordered the classic egg bowl and there was a promotion so I got an acai bowl for free. There's usually a long line here so I came around 10:30 and it was empty. The egg bowl was delicious. It tasted fresh and there was thick pieces of bacon in it. I was too full to eat the acai bowl so I saved it for lunch. It kept really well in the fridge, even the banana, and I enjoyed it. It's not super filling so I needed something else, but it would be perfect for breakfast. Looking forward to trying the other bowls in the future!

While we were on a walking tour of Boston, we got hungry and started keeping an eye out for places we could eat at when the tour was over with. We passed B.Good and saw the Beyond Burger sign in the window. BINGO! That's our place, being a vegan and a vegetarian and knowing how good Beyond products are. We went back after the tour and got our burgers. Very, very good! Better than we make them at home. A great tasting bun, tasty B.Good sauce, totally recommend it. The place was clean, the staff were wearing masks, they were socially distancing the customers, even the bathrooms were nice. The burgers totally hit the spot and rubbed it out!

A friend emailed me a code for a free cup of homemade chili that B. Good had sent to him to share with a friend. Thanks friend! The cool thing was that if I redeemed it prior to the end of their business day on Friday March 1st, not only did I get a free cup of chilli, but they'd donate an additional cup of chilli to a homeless person at one of six homeless shelters the following week. Nice! So I went to redeem the code and added in an order of their sweet potato fries $2.89 (hand-cut every day from Carolina Sweets), and walked over to wait for my name to be called. I thought service was pretty good - when I inquired as to dipping sauces for my sweet potato fries - do you have honey mustard? - I wasn't just directed to the options along the counter (ketchup, mayo, mustard, as well as the bottled stuff such as malt vinegar, and at least two hot sauce options including the Asian rooster type brand. Rather I was given the sauce that is usually served with Cousin Oliver (the burger) as something to try. Sure, I didn't end up caring for it much, and went back to traditional ketchup, but still, I appreciated the effort. The sweet potato fries themselves, by the way, were the wimpy soft sort. But at least they did retain that sweet spud flavor I was looking for. The odd thing was, given that they advertise their fries as hand cut, there were many little pieces among the somewhat longer fries. Those were more difficult to slather with the ketchup on the way to my mouth. Described as a homemade 4-bean chili (cheddar, sour cream, scallions), I was pleasantly surprised to find kernels of corn bobbing here and there. The portion was good, the chili had a bit of a heat to it. Chock full of beans, it was pretty thick. Napkin holders were placed intermittently along the counter that I sat myself at by the window, but if you should want to grab some plasticware or to bust your metal tray after you're done, the only spot seemed to be along the wall furthest from the door by the soda fountain - yes, so weave your way in that way, and back again toward the exit. The odd room flow made it tough to succeed at making a quick getaway. Free Wi-Fi available - just ask for the password. *** 6/2013 *** Same friend, another freebie code share. This time for the STRAWBERRY GOAT CHEESE SALAD $7.59 (baby spinach, strawberries, goat cheese, caramelized onions, candied walnuts, balsamic vinaigrette). I added an order of their current Seasonal Veggies $3.59 (grilled zucchini w/ basil, balsamic & parm). And good thing I did. The salad was a decent portion, yet I needed the side to feel satiated. The salad was fresh and tasty. The zucchini was tasty as well, freshly prepared for me, and tender without being overcooked, but the portion seemed a bit skimpy for the price. On this trip, I realized that there is a second spot to drop off your trash just a few yards from the cashiers. *** 7/2013 *** Same story as the last - this time with the blueberry shake. It had some interesting sweet lumps in it that I liked, but it turns out I'm not one much for blueberries in a shake form. Additionally I ordered the crisp veggies $3.59 which were indeed crisp (at least the broccolini rabe, since tomatoes and the meaty mushrooms aren't expected to be crisp once cooked). A good portion, and tasty. A bit of a service ding was that I noticed my shake all ready to the left of the cashier, while my veggies sat sogging up in a box on the right, being nudged one step closer to the cashier at a time as the preceding burgers were wrapped and distributed. It took them a bit before they realized that my entire order was ready and waiting.

    The fine vegetables they provide!

These days, everywhere you go, places are charging around $20 for a burger. More often than not, they disappoint at that price point. And some don't even come with fries for that price! But that's where we are. I ordered the Capital Burger for $23. It was arguably the best burger I've had in my life. Like a French onion soup infused burger. The taste was delectable, the quality top notch, and cooked to perfection. And yes, it came with fries. Finally, a burger worth the hefty price places charge nowadays. Wife had the Ribeye Steak Sandwich which was flavorful and plentiful, as we brought half home for lunch the next day. And surprisingly, the wine list is VERY reasonably priced. Again, if you eat out often, you know the prices for a glass of wine have risen beyond ridiculous the last couple of years. So appreciate this place for not price gouging.

Great meal to end the upper US marathon vacation!!…read more We had no idea where we may end up eating but the trusty Yelp app led us to another victory dance!! Yay for Yelp!! We had just cruised the nearby mall center thingy and were hungry on our last night in Boston. We saw the sites and did the things. Boston is a one of a kind place for sure. This was the choice. It was a great choice! Beautifully decorated and oh so chill inside. We have a thing that we do at places with great appetizers. We just order a bunch of those and feast. That's what we did here! We started with some raw oysters. They were very nice indeed. Island Creek Oysters from Duxbury MA. is where they came from. We love the little local Junts a lot and had them all over the northeast while we were there. We also had Crab Rangoon Dip. Very good, lots of fresh lump crabmeat, with a house chili crisp, scallions, and wonton chips. Loved it! They we had some fantastic mussels to close the deal! The flavor was amazing! I wish I could have them every single day! We also had a bowl of BPH Clam Chowder. CC is one of my favorite things and this place did not disappoint in any way! Delicious!! The server was great. She took great care and made our last night in Boston an unforgettable experience. If you are near, you should go right now! Why aren't you there yet? '26 - 108
