The matcha einspanner had a strong matcha taste but not too bitter and sweet. Some places would compensate a bitter matcha with a really sweet taste but this place was able to create a drink perfectly in between. The pandan matcha was sweet and complemented the matcha pretty well. This place was really clean, had plenty of parking, outlets, and workers were really nice. This place would be a perfect place to study or get work done! They're open until 11pm which is really nice for people who like getting work done at night :) My only feedback is that the place can get pretty loud with the music so probably bring some noise canceling headphones/earbuds. I was especially excited to find a coffee shop open until 11:00 p.m. Most coffee spots close between 9:00 and 10:00, so I felt lucky when this place popped up on Google. I arrived about an hour before closing, and surprisingly, I was the only customer inside. As soon as I walked in, the young girl working at the counter greeted me warmly. Orders are placed through a tablet, which lets you customize sweetness levels, cream options, and other preferences. Since it was my first visit, I wasn't sure what to expect, so I left everything at the standard settings. Wanting to try both a hot and cold option, I ordered the Phin Einspanner Coffee and the Hot Pistachio Coffee. Both drinks were very flavorful and well-crafted, although a bit sweeter than my personal preference. Next time, I'll definitely order them with less sweetness. They're located in a small plaza with very minimal parking spots if it gets busy. Walking in, your eyes go towards their TV that displays their menu. If you're having a difficult time choosing what drink you want, you can ask the person taking your order for recommendations. Stopped by after lunch for coffee. Charming little roastery. My son immediately pointed out the teddy bear baristas and asked to take a picture with them. The service was super friendly. Yummy Taiyaki and sweet Matcha Einspanner! Went to Blets around 9AM in the morning. Quick and easy to get out of the parking lot. Plenty of parking lot space. I ordered 3 taiyaki flavors (ube, custard and nutella) and the nice sauce that came with it is a must dip! The Matcha einspanner is on the sweeter side so if you don't want it so sweet, it would be safer to request to dial it down. I felt literal tears fall from my eyes as I sipped one of the best coffees I've had in a long time. I found a cup of happiness. I arrived at B'Lets Roastery (South El Monte) on Monday (around 11:53AM). Parking is simple because the lot is wide. However, the nearby parking spots say, "30 Minute Customer Parking Only." Staff (receipt says Ngoc) is extremely friendly, smiley, and welcoming. Ngoc communicated cheerfully and brightly despite the limited English. Ngoc used pre-scripted phrases, but Ngoc maintained her calm and confidence. Ngoc worked very hard. My drink took three minutes and 58 seconds. Good time. As mentioned, I absolutely adored the Ube Cream Coffee ($6.50). It's masterfully balances utility and flavor. This coffee woke me up, but it also made all my stress fade away. I felt my shoulder slump downward in happiness. This coffee is not bitter nor too sweet. Rather, the flavor of fresh ube and coffee blossomed brightly. This drink is fresh and light, and I'd argue that it's a slightly better version of the Da Vien Coffee. B'Lets Roastery (South El Monte) whisked me away on a magical coffee adventure. I noticed that a new cafe opened in 626 so I had to visit. I had the best experience. The staff were super sweet and helped recommend me drinks. All four drinks were amazing. The refreshers were refreshing and you can taste how natural the fruit flavors are. You can adjust the sweetness without compromising its flavor. He said their machine is coming soon. I told him that when I saw the word "roastery", my immediate thought was coffee or latte. My drinks were promptly made. I was surprised at how strong the egg cream was but the Ube was just perfect. The staff noticed my reaction when I drank my beverages & he inquired if he could adjust it to my preference. That was awfully nice. He explained that the egg coffee, much like Vietnamese coffee usually comes with condensed milk, it can be prepared with oat milk but it would simply not capture the essence of Vietnamese coffee. He offered to make the traditional egg cream made with the original milk & it was so good! The whole environment is comfortable & it looks like a nice place to enjoy your beverages, hang out or do some work/study. Parking is free & shared with other businesses in a plaza. The drinks were made fresh and took maybe 5 minutes to come out. The corn coffee was amazing - there was a smooth texture throughout and the corn flavor was very prominent per sip without being too overpowering. The ube cream coffee was also amazing, you definitely taste the ube flavor and it was just the right amount of cream ratio to coffee. That being said, if you love bold Vietnamese coffee, this might be right up your alley. I stopped by close to closing time, and the employee making my drink seemed a little irritated or rushed.
