This was an exceptional experience. I ordered two different drinks. Their menu has such depth, I was sad I couldn't get more. As I was looking for a new cafe to work remotely from, I saw Maicha Matcha pop up and of course I have to go as a matcha girly. They have 2 entrances, 1 front and 1 back. Parking is easy by street or with the spacious parking at the back. Upon entering the space was spacious, bright, and lots of tables/seating options. The ac does get a bit cold if you are planning on staying here for awhile so I do recommend bringing a jacket. The WiFi password is on the sign on the same table you order from. On my whole stay here, I had no issues with The WiFi and it was fast.The music they had playing was a mix of different genres. I was overjoyed when I heard E85 playing! I ordered their London fog matcha latte. There is a bit of clumping from not whisking well enough, but it wasn't big enough to affect the drink in any way besides aesthetics. I really enjoyed this drink for the light earl gray flavor and it was perfectly creamy. The earl gray flavor was reminiscent of fruit loops to me. I love how there is no charge for the oat milk. I was also pleasantly surprised by the bigger size of the drink since it was only $7.25. read more

They have their own parking lot in the back but there is street parking available too. Inside was small but clean and there was a decent amount of seating, as well as free wifi! Service was friendly and welcoming. Menu had a good variety of matcha and Hojicha drinks. There are milk substitutions - oat, whole, and almond and they offer sugar and ice adjustments. Got the Double Coconut Matcha ($7.50) and it was matcha with coconut water & coconut cream foam. The coconut cream foam was thick in consistency and creamy. I requested the drink half sweet so it wasn't too sweet and it was pretty good! Make sure to give the drink a good stir prior to drinking! The matcha wasn't too bitter but not as rich as I was expecting. I had high expectations for the matcha since I read they use premium matcha and I saw the barista handwhisking the matcha. However, I thought the matcha was just ok and nothing too memorable. It was nice they gave me a free drink coupon to use on grand opening weekend! The girls in the front were so sweet taking my order. You can tell that they are very passionate about their craft. The cafe its self is very spacious and has cute decor. Parking is in the back and I had no problem getting street parking in the front both times I've been here. Now for the matcha So good! I got the London fog cause I love earl gray and it was very creamy and it has a great matcha flavor. Sometimes I feel like places either put too much matcha and it's so bitter or not enough and it tastes like milk. This was the perfect balance especially with the earl grey cream top. I wasnt thinking and downed the last bit and it made me wired for 3hrs!!! I always enjoy my drink more when the environment is inviting and comfortable. I got the traditional iced coffee which they said was like a Vietnamese coffee and it did not disappoint! Ordered two drinks: Strawberry Matcha Latte and Cold Brew Jasmine Matcha, both with less sweet and no ice. The Strawberry Matcha Latte with less sweet and no ice still tasted around 50% sweetness compared to a typical boba shop because of the strawberry puree. I also noticed some of the other Strawberry Matcha Lattes had freeze-dried strawberries on top, but mine did not. I'm unsure why there was that inconsistency. The Cold Brew Jasmine Matcha was honestly underwhelming. Yes, it is different, but the overall drink tasted pretty sharp with a lot of astringency. My guess is that the matcha and jasmine both contain tannins, causing a slight clash. I do not recommend getting it less sweet because it tasted closer to 10% sweet like you know there is sweetener in it, but you can barely taste it. After I got home, I added maple syrup to see if extra sweetness would help, and in a way it did. The jasmine flavor came out more, but the overall drink still lacked a good balance of vegetal and umami notes because the astringency was overpowering. Other than that, I didn't really care for the jasmine flowers in the drink. They do look nice visually, but they didn't add much to the flavor, and it wasn't pleasant having to constantly remove them from my mouth while drinking. I would still come back to try their other drinks because the menu is pretty unique. Side note to the owner: I was observing the workflow, and in my opinion it would be beneficial to add one more person to the crew. I noticed one crew member constantly running around refilling supplies and washing matcha ware, while also making multiple attempts to start working at the matcha station but never really getting the chance to settle there. I think the wait time could be reduced if another person were added. Another adjustment could be improving the drink ticket system. I noticed that as crew members slid the tickets over to make room on the counter, it became very easy for them to fall to the ground whenever someone walked by or a gust of wind came through. Installing a ticket rail/bar where tickets can slide across would probably help. There should also be a better cup workflow from the first station, where ice and milk are poured, to the matcha station. I noticed cups piling up at the matcha station out of order, which may explain why some drinks were being made out of sequence. It may also be more efficient to pour the cream tops directly at the matcha station instead of turning back around to the bench area. Overall, the workflow would probably benefit from moving more in one direction rather than going back and forth. read more

Beautiful, thoughtfully designed cafe with a bright, minimal interior, but it tends to be a little chilly in there. There are three tables, a window bar seating, and a cute couch corner with very cute decor. The entrance from the front is gorgeous, and there's also a back entrance from the parking area with an accessible ramp. Parking from front might be difficult, I'd recommend parking in the back for easier access. Service was wonderful, very attentive staff and everything moved quickly even during the soft opening. Drinks were a highlight. The matcha is thick, high quality, and hand-whisked to order. The strawberry matcha and jasmine matcha latte were both perfectly balanced--would absolutely order again. The hojicha latte had a strong, toasty flavor, and the London Fog leaned very floral and slightly fruity (almost like Fruity Pebbles milk). They're currently only open on weekdays for soft opening, so come early, lines can get busy, but service stays efficient. Would come again in the future! read more

Got the double Coconut matcha and it was only mediocre even though the description says it's premium. Also, it took literally 3-4 sips and sadly was gone. It was mostly ice and alot of cream on top. I also didn't cringed at the fact the girl making my matcha drink had long bangs and was leaning over my drink to make my matcha. Lastly, there was an odd smell to the place soon as I stepped foot into it. It reminded me of a nursing facility. Disappointed it took away from the ambiance for me. Hands down the best matcha I've had! I ordered the Matcha Latte (with Almond Milk and regular sweetness). Since this was my first visit the barista suggested starting with regular sweetness as they could add additional sweetener (Agave) if needed. They stated their Matcha Lattes with regular sweetener are not overly sweet. The owner was there, she was so kind! The staff were nice and friendly as well!
