Have been waiting to try this restaurant for sometime now. We are back in the Prescott area and wanted to have a nice date night. This is a very cute warm and quaint Restaurant. I love the open kitchen concept. They have a small Menu, but change it weekly! We started off with the goat cheese mousse appetizer, which was to die for! My husband loved it so much he decided to have a second order of that and the Roasted Peach Salad for his dinner! I had the Lamb Chops. They were so so good! They were so thick I could actually only eat one of them after eating the goat cheese appetizer. I was able to bring two of them home which will be great for another meal.!! Yay for me!! Service was excellent by Lizzie! We wanted to take a little time and have a drink before we ordered and there was no pressure to hurry. The restaurant only has six tables and four chairs at like a bar/counter. I would highly suggest making reservations. I believe they're only open Thursday through Sunday, so plan ahead. Judy & I recently tried Atmesfir in Prescott and enjoyed the warm and friendly staff. My jumbo shrimp was spot-on, and Judy's halibut was fantastic. But what stole the show was the lighting of an appetizer... It was like a flambé on steroids, and that alone was worth the price of admission, so to speak. Although I'm thinking it could be an occupational hazard to the servers eyebrows. Seriously, there were plenty of ooh's and aah's and I'm pretty sure I heard what sounded like Cortney's knees knocking when she lit it up! I can't believe we've never come here, it's been on my radar for a few years but I finally went in and made a reservation for Sat night. What a great restaraunt! Cozy and quaint, the nice man that took our reservation was very professional. I love how you can see the kitchen and the chef and cooks, very cool. Service was great, we were out at the little table by the window which was fine but the nice man who took our reservation offered us a roomier table when another party left, that made me happy. Anyways, the salad was great, I wish I would have taken a picture of the menu as it rotates often I believe. The steak was one of the best I have had in a long time! The chef prepared it to perfection ( and I do well done ), and it was cooked exactly well done but in a way that didn't dry the steak out. It's the best steak since I last went to Steak 44. The fingerling potatoes and broccolini was so so so so good. I wish they could keep this dish as a standard. I don't like mushrooms and didn't have to ask for no mushrooms which was great. Expect to not be rushed, and take your time and enjoy. Can't wait to go back!! Chef Paul is very good at what he does. Oh, amazing desert. read more

What a cool spot. The kitchen is open and ambience is really quaint and a great vibe. We had a goat cheese appetizer to start and the bread with it was amazing. We had the filet and the Chilean sea bass and both were phenomenal. So cool to be able to see the kitchen and the staff were all very welcoming and attentive. We went there in NYE and couldn't have been happier. There's very limited space so make sure to make a resy. Will for surely be back and highly recommend this to anyone. On a recent visit to Prescott, friends took us to Atmesfir. What a treat. You know something is going on when people are standing at the door at 5:00 waiting for the door to open. It's a small place and we felt as if we were by ourselves. Service was exceptional. The menu is unique, and fairly concise. Try the octopus appetizer. It's not calamari, but was wonderful. I think we all had various fish dishes. Fresh, gorgeous looking, incredibly tasty. I'm already looking forward to a return visit. read more

Went to dinner last night at Atmesfir for the first time. I'll begin with the actual atmosphere. Considering the name, I was hoping for something amazing. Sadly, the decor, vibe and loud ish 70's-80's music was disappointing, along with the view of the back room where the dishes are washed. I anticipated it to feel more organic, with earth tones, artwork depicting locally sourced produce or a real farmers market, the docks and fresh caught seafood, or the chef creating and cooking, to transport us into their "story of passion"... similar to their website. Background instrumental music (from around the world?) would've been nicer. Just loud enough to tie into the mission this restaurant conveys, again, on their website. This would also be a "finer" dining experience, if the concept of the atmosphere was crafted similarly to the words describing their sourcing & menu (website). (Just our opinion) As for the food... OMG, it was masterfully crafted and plated, and yes, told a story. It looked like a work of art and was quite tasty! All in all... 1 star for ambiance / decor/ overall restaurant feel & impression 3 stars for service 4.75 stars for the creative cuisine Oh, BTW, the entrees take a little longer to arrive at table than most restaurants. read more

It's been over two years since we traveled to Prescott to try Chef Paul's incredible dishes. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly, professional and efficient. Chef Paul makes or handles each dish and so the wait is worth it. Reservations are highly recommended. During our wait, we ordered two Ford Gin martinis with olives, which were great. The martinis can be adjusted to what you like. We were able to try the pomegranate salad, which was a blend of savory and slightly sweet notes. This combination was great for an extremely warm 90 plus degree day. The pomegranate seeds and berries complimented the cheese and pecans. It was during this time that we decided to order the Sauvignon Blanc from France, which complemented our dishes. We also had the incredible mussels with toast. It was one of the best mussel dishes I've had with the chorizo and white wine sauce. We would have drank the sauce if we could. The main course was the Pacific Bass with rice, carrots and asparagus. The sauce was subtle, but really highlighted the Bass, which was cooked perfectly and had an amazing crunchy skin. We ended the meal with the pecan bread pudding which was outstanding. How does one make a dessert where all the elements were distinct, but worked together? This was incredible. We highly recommend this place and also strongly recommend reservations. read more

We came to Atmesfir last night for my husband's birthday and the dinner was delicious. We started out with the mussels for an appetizer which has chorizo and this amazing white wine broth with perfectly toasted bread to eat it with. So good! My husband got the NY Strip with potatoes and broccolini and I got the sea bass with sweet potatoes, brussels and raisins and both were outstanding! Strike one! We got all dressed up to have on a Thursday evening to have an amazing French dinner to remind us of our amazing trip to the south of France. We arrived shortly after 5;30 on a Thursday evening only to be greeted with a locked door. We did notice movement inside so I politely knocked on the door. After almost beating down the door trying to get the attention of the person mopping the prep area we were informed that they were closed for the evening. No an apology no excuses just were closed. Atmesfir is a small restaurant that excels in everything they do. They have a small menu commensurate with the restaurant size that contained beef, duck, fish and several small plates. The staff was all very friendly and attentive. Part way through dinner the owner stopped by to talk about our dinner. She was very personable. We split the butternut soup, goat cheese moose and the salmon. All tastes worked well together. Presentation was excellent. The lemon curd dessert finished off the evening. Jenn Park and I were privileged enough to be seated at the bar with a front row seat to the open kitchen where we could witness Chef Paul and his team create amazing dishes and really balanced cocktails. Jenn and I ordered two gin martinis straight up. Jenn had one with Fords London Dry Gin and I had the Nolet Gin with an olive. Both were dry and really great. (Nolet was surprising since it was quite floral and would have been great in a G&T. We started with the amazing kale salad, which was delicious. I started to eat it and stopped long enough to take a photo... Jenn had the scallops were perfectly cooked and I had the Sea Bass, which was the best fish dish I had in a long while. It was perfectly cooked and had an incredible crispy skin that was pretty damn good. We paired this with a Hungarian Pinot Grigio, which was recommended by the amazing team there! We thought we were done, but we couldn't resist the lemon curd dessert, which was a perfect balance of tart from the lemon curd and sweetness from the graham cracker bits, whipped cream and fresh berries!
