Today I got XEOMIN an alternative to Botox. Can't wait to see the results of the Xeomin. Apparently it kicks in after 3-5 days (a little faster than Botox) and the skin should be velvet smooth. I also went ahead and schedule for a follow up visit to get fillers done a few weeks later. Allison was really easy to talk to and more importantly she listened to my concerns. Botox - They actually blow cold air (from the laser machine) while giving your Botox injections. I felt like that helped with the usual stinging feeling. It went by really quick for my 40+ units. They have a special for $199, for the first 20 units. However, their price per unit is so affordable at $12/unit compared to what I was paying at Skinspirit for $16/unit. Prices are transparent and you can find them on their website. The facility is in a medical building right across the street from Mills Peninsula. It's not decorated or nice as their SF location, but that is expected.

I found Entrada a couple years ago or so, because I had a spot on my face that just would not heal…read more It had been broken out for easily over a year or more. I really liked my experiences at Entrada, it was easy to make appointments, I never had any issues, before, during, or after the visit and always appreciated the cooling gel they give as a nice extra touch. My four is mainly for my unique situation, which was that it was just one spot that took less than 10 seconds to zap. Even adding in a couple extra areas that I usually would just pluck, the entire visit would take less than 2 minutes. Which was pretty steep at around $80 each. I had about 6-8 appointments (it's been about a year or so since I completed the last one so I'm not totally sure at this point) but within about 3 months or so, I noticed everything had grown back. So unless I was willing to have consistent recurring appointments, it didn't make sense for me to continue with the service. I simply switched over to shaving vs plucking and called it a day. I will say that I'm still very pleased that I visited Entrada as the redness from the spot completely faded and it fully healed. Which was everything I could have hoped for. So for me, while it was expensive, I'm very glad I did it and would recommend Entrada for similar issues.
