I ordered their eggs benedict and it was so good! I love their hollandaise sauce and the has browns were crispy! We came close to closing and our server was nice, efficient, and very welcoming. The restaurant is well lit and clean; spacious too! It's located in a cute corner and there's lots of parking.

This is the hard-boiled egg that came on my chef salad not sure what year this was boiled

Haven't gone here in a long time and now I remember why today I ordered two chef salads I get home the hard boiled egg on the salad. Looks like they were hard-boiled a week and a half ago there's barely any shreds of cheese on the salad all the lettuce is just bad iceberg lettuce almost 50 bucks for two salad, salads and tip and I am now having to go out and get lunch somewhere else won't be back again.

I can't say enough good things about this location. The food is always good and if there is anything you like or dislike the staff are amazing with accommodating. I love how friendly they are they make me feel like I've been coming here for years. Patty's is always clean and comfortable inside. This is one of my favorite locations because they're always on it and they cook really good food.

Nice little eatery. Has a quaint diner vibe. Breakfast was delicious. Ordered the chicken fried steak. Huge portion. And lots of gravy. The O'Brien potatoes were delicious. Seasoned red potatoes with peppers and onions. Not bad not bad. And some scrambled eggs, nothing to write home about. And then I wanted to try the corned beef hash eggs Benedict. Never had so it was pretty good, and the fresh fruit was delicious. Service was great. Kept stopping by my table and making sure my coffee was always full. Oh I also ordered a side a bacon and the orange juice was delicious. I think it was fresh squeezed. Waitresses were nice and friendly. And I'll definitely stop in again for some pancakes next time.

Homey diner, serving an impressive variety of American comfort classics. Patty's Eggnest was established in 1999, and now has 6 locations in WA. This Mountlake Terrace location has a skylight, filling the space with natural light. The decor is modern grandma, and so is the clientele. My husband and I were the only people there under the age of 70. They are open daily for breakfast and lunch. Our waitress, Chris, was lovely. Charismatic, friendly, and perfectly attentive. We were served coffee instantly, and our food was ready in under 10 minutes, despite them being quite busy. The Elvis French Toast was decadent, and everything I hoped it would be: panko-breaded, stuffed with creamy peanut butter, topped with fresh Devonshire cream, and sliced banana. Doused in maple syrup, every bite was a treat. Their Buttermilk Pancakes were fantastic as well; fluffy, buttery, melt in your mouth perfection. My husband ate the bacon that came with my French toast, and remarked that it was very good. He got the Bavarian Breakfast, a hearty combo plate with eggs, hash browns, meat, etc. Portions were generous for the price. If you want a deeply satisfying diner-style breakfast, look no further.

A short wait to be seated. Coffee was gas station grade. Quick service despite the full house. Potatos were cold. Hollandaise sauce creamy but without flavor. Hash was good not canned but who can beat canned lol. Egg was nicely done. Spinach was a nice twist. French toast I was told was too sweet. Mmm I disagree just tried lol edible from a large menu

The food was delicious and very big servings. The server was very nice and accommodating, even though they go busy quickly they kept pleasant and helpful.

I was stoked to see them coming to our neighborhood and have not been disappointed! Very tasty breakfasts, my daughter and I have found our new spot after the closing of a few local favorites over the last couple years. We've had nothing but great service and food the few times we've gone in and definitely plan on coming back. With the economy where it's at and the current mood of the country, it's nice to have a new restaurant opening, and I think it's important we support them as much as we can. Good Luck Patty's Eggnest!

If you're near Mountlake Terrace you can't go wrong with Patty's Eggnest. The menu is huge and the portions ample. It has a fireplace inside and a nice ambiance. The staff is pleasant so what's not to love! You can't go wrong here unless you come after hours! Open til 2 on weekdays and til 3 on weekends.

I wish I can identify what that too :-D

We got the Cuban pork hash, ham hash (from the specials menu), corned beef hash, and breakfast burrito. The potatoes were unique because they were neither crispy but they weren't mushy either and very nicely fluffy inside. Also very well seasoned! The eggs were perfectly done and oozy, the hollandaise sauce was light, more so added for extra creaminess. I'm not usually the biggest fan of hollandaise sauce as I find it sometimes too heavy but this was less rich which was nice. The breakfast burrito was tasty, nice amount of filling. I enjoyed the cubes of ham and how it wasn't overly salty. Definitely eat with hot sauce and some black pepper. I think it would get a little mundane if you were to eat the whole thing yourself but it's not bad. The banana bread donut isn't really a donut. More so a banana bread Bundt cake. It was nice, slightly sweet with what tasted like whipped browned butter.

The sampler platter was a decent sized plate. 1 huge chicken skewer, 1 beef skewer and two slices of gyro. My favorite might've been the gyro and chicken to be honest! The beef had great flavor, but had a slight chew to it. I enjoyed the Greek salad as well. Make sure to add lettuce to it, typically doesn't come with it. Having said all of that I would like to offer constructive feedback for a couple of things: PRICES: Prices have increased way too much over the past year or two. It's become unaffordable to eat here regularly. NO PAPER MENU: Everyone must scan a QR code to view the menu. They have no paper menus at all - and when asked about it, they don't seem open to changing this stance. There are valid security concerns with scanning QR codes. Just search the term "quishing" on YouTube and you'll learn all about how hackers use QR codes to steal your data (at restaurants and about anywhere else you find them). It's become a pretty popular form of scamming these days (and it doesn't take a genius hacker to figure out how to do it either. It's actually quite simple!). I would like to see Diamond Knot offer at least a handful of paper menus to reduce security risks for customers that are concerned about having their personal data hacked.

Pro tip: make sure to show up in the morning for better selection for both sweet and savory items. Their pastries are baked fresh onsite, but I've made the mistake of showing up midday and towards closing and their pastry case would be slim pickings. They also have a great variety of beverages available too. Espresso, teas, and milk teas as examples. The mocha has improved, very coffee forward and not cloyingly sweet. Just needs to be hotter temp wise, but that's just me. My favorite go tos has been variable depending on availability, but recent visits have been their ham and cheese croissants. I greatly appreciate the offer to have it warmed up if dining onsite. It's just a strange pairing to place such tasty pastries on a paper plate and then provided flatware, knife & fork or just a fork. We were seated fairly quickly and served coffee and water right away, but after that it went downhill. "Carmen" (our waitress and perhaps the manager), took about 20 minutes to return to us to take our order. She focused a ton on another table (Latinos), refilling their coffees, bringing them additional food and catering to their needs, while completely avoiding eye contact or our table. She made sure to get the payment from another table next to us and was heading away again, when I finally asked if we could order. She almost seemed bothered and rushed to take our order. My friend is a vegetarian, and wanted the mini scramble with no meat and asked if she could get 1/2 avocado in place of the meat. Carmen outright just said no. Which we both thought was odd. Not even an up charge was offered, but no meat and no interchange? She also seemed a bit short with us. Yes we are white and she is Latina. Not insinuating, but it felt like she was much more attentive to the other tables filled with Latinos (another group arrived and were catered to immediately and with extra attention) now I'm not racist, my husband is Latino, but she was ignoring us. Once we finally got our food another 15 mins later. Again we had to flag someone down to get a coffee rewarm. I eat out frequently and recognize good service vs poor. Carmen definitely did not leave a good impression in our minds. It's too bad because it's a bright lively restaurant but I unfortunately cant support the crap attitude.
