I was already reluctant to try this place because of so many choices at RPM. My goal is to try each spot at RPM. The reason I chose this place was because I noticed they have bone in fried chicken, just legs and thighs. So I ordered the combo. The leg and thigh came out very good, very hot, very crispy. My only complaint is the fries were room temperature. So I assume they made the fries as soon as I ordered, but the chicken took at least 10-15 min of frying. I usually wouldn't even leave a review this low, but this place needs feedback. The chicken on my sandwich had so much excess seasoning on it that I could feel the texture of seasoning in my mouth. It was like pouring a bottle of seasoning into my mouth. Didn't finish the food, upset my stomach. Burnt chicken! No help from the associate! My family ordered one order of plain chicken nuggets. First time ordering nuggets from Baba's. The nuggets came out looking dark brown. We weren't sure if it was just the style or the seasoning that gave it that color. The batter tasted burnt, but the chicken inside was tender. We asked the associate at the counter what an order should look like. She showed us what the nuggets should look like--golden brown. We told her that ours were really brown. She said, "I don't know how that happened, because they are cooked to a timer." We brought the nuggets to the counter. We had already eaten most of them thinking that was the normal taste. The associated reiterated that she didn't know how it happened because the nuggets are cooked on a timer. She then said, "Well, what do you want me to do?" We would have appreciated if she offered to remake them, or even offered an apology. Will not be ordering from Baba's anymore. read more

Genuinely the worst hot chicken I have tried. I had never tried this place, so in order to give it a fair chance I ordered a side of mac and cheese, two different types of tenders for my sandwich combo (which I got fries with since I wanted to try basically all they had to offer), their ranch on the side, extra pickles, and extra coleslaw on the side. What I received was TERRIBLE mac and cheese that tasted like straight water and had absolutely no cheese flavor or flavor of anything like salt or pepper literally anything, which wasn't even filled all the way, (didn't even think you could mess up mac and cheese in the first place but they definitely did), literal cabbage in a cup (no slaw), and two tenders that tasted the exact same (which didn't even have a good flavor, kind of like pepper but no real rub on there) on bread that was instantly soggy and falling apart (that was covering two pickles because I guess extra pickles was too hard to fulfill). The fries were okay, but nothing special and the ranch was watery (just tasted like I could buy it at any store). Even the photos I took couldn't make you understand how terrible it was. The best thing at this place was the foundation drink. While the atmosphere was cool, that has nothing to do with the place itself (since it's in Redlands Public Market and they were doing some activities that were kind of fun). The service was pretty bad, as I said thank you multiple times and the guy at the front genuinely didn't even mumble not one word the entire time I was there. Also, it was crazy expensive so I genuinely just wasted almost 30 dollars ‍. Do not go here, genuinely just about every single other hot chicken place I've ever tried has been 10x better. I'm not one to usually complain at all, but after wasting my money I feel like everybody else should know what to expect here and needs to know to avoid this place. I still thought it tasted great but when you're paying these RIDICULOUS PRICES for a small portion, it's a bit of a let down.
