Excellent pizza! I've tried countless pizzas in the last 20yrs all over this region, Baba' is one of the best. Very consistent and delicious. Service is attentive, ambiance is fine. Oh, the French Fries are great & always hot, order as an appetizer!!

Baba's Pizzeria is located in the shopping center across the street from Target in Edinburgh. We've dined in and ordered take out, both on busy Friday nights. - Parking - Center lot. - TLC - It's a family run business and the service was friendly and courteous. - Noms - NY Style Combo Pizza (4 toppings) - pepp, sausage, green peppers, jalapenos Meat amore pizza - pepp, sausage, bacon ham The pizzas have a good amount of toppings and I really liked the crust. Eggplant Parmigiana - comes with garden salad (iceberg, romaine, shredded carrots, red onion, green pepper, raw mushrooms, shredded mozz cheese, olives) with choice of dressing (we chose balsamic) and garlic bread. The eggplant parm is two pieces of breaded eggplant topped with marinara and cheese. Spaghetti comes on the side. The sauce was tasty and tasted homemade. It was quite delicious and a generous serving. - Kids - I know I've mentioned this before in previous reviews, but I really dislike how restaurants give crappy options for kids, like kids menus are an afterthought. However, kids menus at Italian restaurants often reflect the same offerings for adults, because who doesn't love pastas, so it's a win here. My kids have had their pizzas, alfredo, spaghetti and meatballs, all winners both according to my kids and us! Baba's Pizzeria is a great option for before/after shopping or the movies or simply a takeout meal on a busy night! Enjoy, Friends, and never stop exploring!

We stay in Shelbyville, Ky just for this reason! The cheese sticks are amazing, let alone the pizza! The service is always great, super friendly!! We love the ambience of this quaint place! If you have not tried it, you need to!!

We ordered for delivery and had to make a last minute change & they accommodated flawlessly. Great customer service and the pizza was amazing when it came! First time ordering & they definitely earned some loyal customers! New go-to spot for local pizza!

Supreme Stromboli w/ a side of spicy sauce.

Been here since 2017 and not sure how I overlooked it but today was the day! My daughter got the chicken Alfredo with a side salad and it comes with garlic bread. She gave it 4 stars and said it was pretty good. I had the Supreme Stromboli with a side of spicy sauce. The Stromboli was lights out good! Super crispy and definitely freshly made. Everything inside including the sauce was yummy. Let's turn our attention to the little cup of sauce on the side... it was so good I drank the last little bit. The tomatoes were nice and sweet. Sooo good! That itself would go good with anything, like a shoe...it could make that taste good! Overall the service was great, very sweet waitress. We'll definitely be back to try the pizza!

Winner! We found a great new pizza spot, I just wish it weren't so far south in Chesapeake. Nevertheless, we will most definitely be back! The place looks unassumingly small from the outside, but seats quite a lot at tables and booths. We came in with a party of 10 including 4 kids last night. With a larger party, we called ahead to make a reservation. As soon as we sat, I noted the signs posted at each table soliciting patience - longer waits due to low staff and a hiring notice. There was a pretty significant wait for our entrees (40 minutes), but the wait was worth it. Our server was prompt and very friendly throughout our visit. She was quick to respond to requests for extra utensils or plates. I didn't see more than 2 servers for the whole restaurant and they were quite busy for a Wednesday night with a regular take out business too. They have a couple of draft options and wine for those imbibing. We ordered apps and entrees soon after arriving. Appetizer order of mozzarella sticks arrived quickly and was gobbled up. For entrees, we ran the gamut - gluten free Hawaiian, strombolis, Zeppetelli pizza, shrimp Alfredo, calamari and cheese pizza. The pizza prices are pretty standard for a non-chain, artisan pizzeria (comparing to Bella Vista in Chesapeake). The prices on their website do not reflect the prices on their menu in the restaurant and are $2-3 more. I didn't inquire but this seems de rigueur for the industry right now so I wasn't really surprised. To the food - My Zeppetelli was delicious! I wish they had used fresh broccoli as I love the taste of roasted fresh broccoli. Husband really like the flavor of his Stromboli but noted that it was doughy in some spots. It didn't stop him from finishing the entire thing! Friends really liked the shrimp alfredo and gluten-free crust, which is a feat in itself. The food was great, but the service elevated this spot to four stars. We are very much looking forward to a return visit!

We love this place, we really do but I have noticed the quality of take out has reduced drastically. When I look at the pics of folks dining in compared to what we are getting take out it makes me sad. Very sad. It wasn't always this way. I know ingredients and the cost of everything has increased exponentially due to covid and the cost of business but when you pay $60 bucks for take out and it looks nothing like what in diners are enjoying, it makes me just want to eat a frozen pizza at home. After all, we ARE paying for the same food items so I would hope to get the same quality, regardless if I want to eat in my pj's after a long day's work vs dining in and being with the masses that I just spent all day dealing with .

This is one of my favorite places. My husband and I have been here a few times and the service is always on point and the food is even better! I recommend this place to anyone looking for some great pizza (and all the cheesy garlicky things!). Edit: added some photos from another visit. Love this place so much. It is a family owned pizza place and it shows (in the best way). Try this place out, you will not regret it!

I thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere at Vino. This is a great spot to take a date for a slightly fancier italian vibe and some good wine! They have booths, tables, and bar seating. The restaurant is open concept so you can see everything that's going on! The foods are served with such beautiful presentation and they taste very good too. We had the burrata for the appetizer and capellini pomodoro with meatball add-ons. Both were very delicious. The pomodoro sauce was nice and tangy but not overly acidic. And the meatballs were full of flavor and just the right saltiness for me. But if you're the type to add more seasoning, the tables come with pepper and salt so you can season to taste! This spot definitely got a nice date night vibe to it. Darkly lit. Super chill hostess but limited seating. There are maybe 6 to 8 tables total including a L shape bar that you can pull up to which is exactly where we sat. The bartender was really on point the night we visited. Immediately took our order, gave us a quick perusal of the drinks, and then promptly poured three different types of spirits, a wine for my first brother, a vodka and cranberry for my second and a whiskey flight that they had on the special for myself. We enjoyed all three. In terms of food, we ordered a couple of different appetizers, including the pizza. And I actually was hoping we were going to order dinner because all of the entrees that we saw hit the bar around us looked fantastic. We ended up connecting with a really cool local business owner by the name of Sonny, who is also at the bar having a bit of dinner before heading back to his Shop. That made the overall night even better. This is definitely a spotI will be checking out when I'm back in town.

I ordered the special, sausage and shrimp tortellini with asparagus and pesto. Our fried mozzarella appetizer was pretty good. The mozzarella on its own was a little bland but the marinara had great flavor. When they brought out our entrees I was excited. My dish was barely lukewarm. I think the sausage would have been better had it been seared but it seemed to just be sliced and warmed in the dish. It was rubbery. I couldn't taste pesto which was disappointing. Underneath everything was just very watery. The shrimp had that texture that it gets when it's overcooked. Overall I didn't really like any aspect of the dish. My husband's tortellini was good and still very warm. The garlic green beans he ordered had amazing flavor. Both of my sons said their fettuccine was mushy. I'm glad we gave it a try but sometimes things are a hit or a miss. Unfortunately this was a miss for us.

My Fried Oysters dish was a dozen and a half lightly breaded perfectly fried oysters with a side of thinly sliced dill pickles - which I found unusual - and a pleasant side of Aioli for the oysters. Also, some very perfectly cooked asparagus spears with some crunch still in them. If you like oysters, this is your dish. I also ordered a flight of 4 select beers from an extensive list. My wife enjoyed the Chef Special of the Night, Shrimp Tortellini. Oversize Cheese Tortellini with big perfectly cooked butterflied shrimp throughout the pasta tossed in a creamy white sauce, with a glass of Sangria. She loved this dish. Our air conditioner's broken." So I decided to go to Pizza Hut, they closed early. Then, I went to a buffet to get some pizza, they were out. I don't know what the big deal was, but I haven't forgotten the "No Pizza Day" of 2025. Anyway, I have gotten two of the large pepperoni pizzas before and they're really good. 16 slices are a lot and lasted me almost a week. They are really difficult to wrap and keep, but worth it if you like the taste. They have plenty of good drink options, including brands and flavors not all places have. Even found canned gatorade, which I didn't know even existed! They have a backroom with pinball machines that's pretty neat. One of them plays music, others make generic gaming noises, and another one of the machines farts a lot. It doesn't take too long for the pizzas to be made in my experience. Make sure you have plenty of space in your vehicle to transport it, and at home or wherever you're bringing it. Make some room in your fridge for leftovers! I think it's cool for the novelty value on occasion, but it is a bit pricey.
