8/9/25 Party of four, early Diner with friends. Parking 5/5 Arrived just before 5 pm. Lots of Resturant parking including a few by by the door. Atmosphere 5/5 Contemporary modern Italian, tables and booths. Service 5/5 We were quickly greeted by our server Jaylynn. She brought menus, and took our drink orders. Like many of you reading this review, we've returned and ordered our favorite go-to's and almost everyone tonight did just that. This review focuses on my order which was the full Mixed Spring salad and the two meatball appetizer and the excellent service we received from Jaylynn. She never missed an opportunity to check in with us, from refills to dish clearing and dessert offerings. I would ask for her again, as she enjoyed what she was doing, it's been hit and miss here which can make the difference in your experience. Did you have supper or dinner with service that was prompt friendly and un-rushed? Food 5/5 Everyone enjoyed their choices tonight and I love their Spring Mix salad ingredients including the Vinaigrette, each elevating flavors and textures. Our part of dinner for two $56.65 including tip. Eat well with friends-SYOY!

Pete's Pink Fettuccine - note its messy as it was half eaten. Really enjoyed the sauce! Wonderful flavors, the pasta was itself was ok.

It's a good American Italian restaurant. The food is what you expect. I do like the variety of white/cream sauces. The restaurants are always clean, I have found the staff to generally be responsive and friendly. Our server last night was a delight. This is a great place in a pinch if you are craving a pasta dish or a pizza/calzone. Prices are reasonable too.

I used to go to another location of babbo quite often, but I've never been to this one. It looks much smaller than the one I had been to but pretty much the same kind of decor, dark wood tables, some booths, and some regular tables. There was a small bar, but to be honest I didn't take a close look. The girl who's her best was very nice and our food came out quickly. When I got there my friend already had the bread with olive oil and balsamic. The bread really is delicious. We both ordered sandwiches. My friend ordered the spicy chicken sandwich which comes on focaccia, and I ordered the chicken parmesan sandwich on focaccia. My sandwich was just okay, and she said hers was too. The highlight was the zucchini chips on the side. They were delicious! It does look like they're pasta is reasonably priced, but I have to say I have never had pasta at babbo. I've always had sandwiches. Maybe next time.

Creamy Mushroom & Asparagus -tasteless. The majority of the small to go container was pasta.

I ordered to go to pick up a mushroom asparagus with penne pasta. Add chicken for six dollars extra. It came up total for $26. I was craving Italian food so I was excited to get it. When I picked it up, I was so shocked of what I received. It was a small to go container with a bunch of penne pasta, sprinkle it in a couple mushrooms and asparagus. The chicken was tiny for six bucks. I tasted the pasta, and there was no flavor. I couldn't believe. I waited an extra 15 minutes to get bread. This place really let themselves go because I catered before for a wedding and it was fabulous so I was quite disappointed on my meal. I probably won't come here again, unfortunately.

The bread was hot and fresh. The steak panino tasted good, but was a bit skimpy on the steak. The zucca chips were plentiful and tasty. I'd rather hear Italian music than pop/hop for more ambience. The server, while polite didn't smile much. The restaurant itself was very clean, but the men's room floor was sticky.

Cinnamon hot honey crunch sooo good!

Delicious food but our server Angelina was very un-attentive. Friendly manager working though. Definitely recommend the cinnamon hot honey crunch dessert - it was so good!

Love the menu listing the vegetarian options for pizza. Wish they had their pastas and salads listed out too.

We've always loved the food and have recommended it to so many people over the years. We recently saw the $25 family special that included a baked rigatoni, salad, and bread for 3-4 people, so we decided to give it a try and ordered curbside pickup. Unfortunately, we were really disappointed when we got home. The order only came with 4 small pieces of bread, and the baked rigatoni with sausage had only about one whole sausage sliced throughout the entire 3-4 person portion. For a meal advertised to feed 3-4 people, we expected there to be enough sausage for everyone to actually get a serving. It felt like the protein was cut way back, which made the meal feel incomplete. We're not writing this because we don't like Rigatony's--we genuinely do, and we'll most likely continue coming back because we've had so many great experiences over the years. We just hope this was a one-time issue or that they reconsider the portions for this special, because it didn't live up to the quality and value we've come to expect from a restaurant we've loved for so long.

Fads like chili on everything only serve one purpose, to demolish traditional recipes to align with the now predominant "heat" in everything! We came to celebrate a birthday and have a nice dinner: mission accomplished! Started the evening with cocktails and S.pellegrino water as always. The "Knucklehead" cocktail is bourbon based with bitters and pear liqueur; I had to try the "I'll Guav Another" and Yes, I had another, it's very more-ish :) The service was excellent and our server was on point with descriptions of dishes and the continued service. The ambiance was very similar to restaurants back in Milano, noisy because people were chatting and having a good time. Thankfully there were no sports TV's close by making for a very pleasant evening out. I had the pasta alle vongole (clams) that was very tasty; I would have liked a bit less oil and fresh parsley on top, but I honestly ate the whole thing and even mopped up the lemon and white wine sauce with the crusty bread they served. We call it "fare la scarpetta" in Italian. The other diners had a chicken dish that looked good too but I didn't taste them, was too engulfed in my pasta... We had a really good meal, the company was great, and we left well sated. Will be back when on their side of town !

We arrived at the host stand a few minutes before our reservation, but were told that there were no indoor tables available. If we wanted to be seated immediately, we'd have to accept an outdoor table, even though we had a reservation for indoor seating. We opted to wait because the weather was chilly by Arizona standards, and we were still recovering from the race. A couple of minutes later, another hostess approached us and asked whether we had reservations and were waiting. When we confirmed, she immediately left to find us a table, and we were seated very shortly afterwards. I thought very little of this until the owner came to our table and apologized for the issue. He was kind and sincere in his regret for the situation and was excited to tell us about the staff and the food. We were wildly appreciative of this attention to detail and service! We shared the potato croquettes, and they were everything I was hoping they'd be and more. (Light lore: I chose Pizzicata because I saw a picture of these croquettes on their online menu.) For dinner, my husband had the Travolta pizza, and I had the gnocchi gorgonzola. We both did that thing where we sat back in our chairs, breathed deeply, and declared, "oh dang, that's goooood." We were both so happy with our choices - I can't speak to the pizza, but that was some of the best gnocchi I've ever had. Pillowy soft in this perfectly nutty, cheesy, creamy sauce. *chef's kiss* For dessert, we shared the tiramisu, which was perfect in every way. If we weren't already walking funny because of the race, we'd have still waddled out of Pizzicata from happy fullness.
