I also had the soup of the day (sweet potato carrot), which was really flavorful as well. Our waitress, Jade, filled us in about everything we wanted to know about Blossom & Brie. The ambiance is perfect. The centerpieces looked like they could have been cut from the flowerbeds on site. This is now a place we will bring our friends & out-of-town visitors!

Okay, so let me start by saying this whole adventure was my wife's idea. And like always, when my…read morewife says, 'I found a place we should try,' somehow that translates into: everybody get in the car, we're going on a field trip! To make it even better, our daughter came down from USF for the long weekend, so of course we had to make some memories. Now here's the funny part. I'm currently nursing a partially torn meniscus and MCL, wearing a knee brace, taking pain medication, and walking like I just finished playing linebacker for the Dolphins. But apparently saying no to your wife is much more dangerous than a torn knee. So we packed all six of us into the car and drove almost two hours to Blossom and Brie in Fort Myers. That, my friends, is love. But the second we arrived, I had to admit my wife was right. And yes, I am putting that in writing so she can save this review forever. The property is absolutely beautiful. The farm scenery, the animals, the open space, the donkeys coming over like they're part of the welcoming committee the whole place has such an awesome farm atmosphere. You immediately feel like you escaped Florida traffic and landed somewhere completely different. Then you walk into the barn restaurant and wow. They did an incredible job with the place. Rustic, beautiful, comfortable, open-air, relaxing it honestly feels like you're having brunch in the middle of a farmhouse postcard. Now let's talk about the food. Lord have mercy. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, because somebody at the table had to show some restraint. Meanwhile, everybody else ordered what I'm calling 'The Cure' yes, like the band because that burger looks like something you need catcher's gloves and a construction permit to hold together. Bacon, egg, burger, giant bun, everything stacked about six stories high. That burger doesn't come to the table. It arrives. The food was absolutely delicious. By the end of brunch I was filled beyond capacity, moving even slower than my injured knee already allowed, but happier than a kid walking into Disney World. And then there was Megan, our server. Listen. I'm pretty sure Megan is AI. We started firing off six different orders, substitutions, drinks, sides the whole family talking at once and this woman didn't pull out a pen, notepad, tablet... nothing. She just stood there absorbing information like ChatGPT with an apron on. I'm thinking, there is no way she remembers all this. Everything came out perfect. I'm convinced she had a secret Bluetooth connection directly to the kitchen. And the service didn't stop there. Megan kept checking on us, refilling things, making sure everybody was happy. Honestly, it felt like she had a twin working the other side of the table. Ask for Megan. She rocks. Bottom line, Blossom and Brie is absolutely worth the drive. The atmosphere, the animals, the farm setting, the restaurant, the food, the service all fantastic. We drove almost two hours, my knee complained the entire way, I probably ate enough calories to cancel out my pain medication, and I would still make that trip again. Great food. Beautiful place. Amazing family memories. And yes once again, my wife was right. But please don't tell her I said that. Ten out of ten. Worth every mile.

There are some fruits and vegetables for sale before you go inside. The water tower in the front of the building is part of kid's area mining for gems and such. A School bus full of kids were mining and having a great time while we were there. They do have a couple outside tables to dine at. Once inside there was an area with Jelly's, Jams, Toys, Salsa, Munchies plus other old and ends for sale. We found a seat quickly. This place was larger than it looked but it was clean and neat. Our waitress came over fast and I ordered the 31 Club which had Ham, Turkey, Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, American Cheese, and Mayo served on Bread of your Choice. It also came with Cole Slaw and Chips. I ordered Fries instead of chips. The wife ordered a BLT which came with Chips. Our sandwiches came out fast and they were huge and looked so good. Everything on them looked fresh and that Club was very good and so large I could not finish it. All at a price that can't be beat 11.49. My fries were done perfectly and there was plenty of them for 2.49. My wife loved her large BLT, Bacon was done to her liking. The Tomato's and Lettuce and looked fresh and this sandwich had plenty of Bacon on it all for 9.49. You can beat their prices. Even the sodas are in large 32 oz cups and believe it or not they have some Beer and Wines. This is old Florida at its best. It doesn't look like much on the outside or inside and is not fancy at all. If you want fancy go elsewhere. If you want large budget friendly sandwiches you must stop here. I give this place 4 out of 5 stars for the large sandwiches, friendly service, and inexpensive menu items. Follow Me On FB For More Reviews Gulf Coast Terry

Monday, July 27th 2026…read more My wife and I have seen Hogbody's Bar & Grill a few times driving by and said we'd have to try them one day. We'll today we did and I can't say enough great things. The only question we had afterward was, why did we wait so long? Our server, Shannon made our first visit memorable. Her service was outstanding--friendly, attentive, and she made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we sat down. She was easily 10 out of 10. My wife and I split the daily special, a full slab of ribs two your choice of two sides. We had the mashed potatoes and baked beans. For $17.25 it was an incredible value. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, packed with flavor, and easily earned 5 stars. The baked beans were delicious, and the mashed potatoes were creamy, homemade tasting, and just as impressive. Every part of the meal hit the mark. The only small area for improvement was the young gentleman who delivered our food. He simply slid the plate onto the table without saying a word. A little interaction, such as a friendly greeting or asking if we needed anything else, would make the experience even better. Overall, our first visit exceeded our expectations. Great food, fantastic service from Shannon, and excellent value. We'll definitely be returning to Hogbody's Bar & Grill.

I drove around looking for something that wasn't a chain and found this place tucked in the corner of a plaza. I immediately got a great vibe walking to the door with the music on in the patio and the fun outside decor. I walked in and was greeted by Andrea (I walked in at 1045, they don't open till 11, oops). She was the sweetest and chatted with me for a little bit and told me about the restaurant. It's owned by her, her husband and his parents. And the other staff is family ad well. They have been open for 4yrs. Started as a food truck on Food Truck Fridays at Founders Square and emerged into this great looking space. Their hours are 11a-9p, but since today is first day of world cup they are going to be playing all the games while open and even stay open later to watch the 9pm games. I was told by Andrea and the waitress that the "Cheesy Birria Tacos" was the top seller so I gave it a try. And I got a passion fruit smoothie as my drink. The smoothie was delicious! (BRAIN FREEEEEZE! LOL) They serve chips and homemade salsa while you wait for your meal. The salsa had a great taste to it. It is a tad lil spicy, so know that if you don't like spice. Andrea let me sit while they were still opening up and once 11 hit the customers started rolling in. I really enjoyed the meal. The meat was so tender, so when I bit into it I bit right theough... I wasn't pulling all the meat out of the taco on the first bite. Perfect. The rice n beans were ehhh... I'm not a fan of R&B, and i knew that. I should have asked what other options there were . I did end up asking for future reference and she said they have plantains and fries. Ill have to remember that for next time! Since I just stopping for a quick bite and to check the place out. I packed half my meal up for later. When I'm in the area again I'll come back and try other items that were recommended. All said and done, I really enjoyed the place. Ill put it on my list to come back with some friends that I know havent been out this way so they can experience it too!
