Favorite donut place in College Station. Whenever my friends & family would visit, I would always bring them here and they would fall in love with it instantly, without fail. Some even asking me to take them here again the next time they visited Their drinks are decent but the must-tries in my opinion are the red velvet donut and the honey butter chicken biscuit!

Every time we visit College Station, we ALWAYS stop by here to get their donuts and iced vanilla latte! Their coffee is so so good! Must try!!!! And they have lots of different donuts! The kolaches are okay... We tried the maple bacon donut, fruity pebble donut, blueberry donut cake, and red velvet donut cake. Can't wait to go back and try other donuts!! On the weekends, they have Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit, pretty good!!

Slightly better than average eats from friendly helpful staff at decent prices. I got one of their blueberry cake donuts. Outside was well fried, slightly crunchy. Inside was tender. Blueberry was usual commercial berry flavor. For a drink, I wanted straight chai tea, not a chai latte. The counter lady figured out how to get that from their system, which I think only had the latte version. The tea itself had very good taste to my estimation. The spice flavors were strong & really blasted through. They left my mouth with a very zippy tingle. Total price was $5, so a bit above the norm for a donut and a hot drink. But I think the execution on the donut & the spiciness of the tea, plus the helpfulness of the staff, justifies the cost.

Yes I like donuts!!! Don't worry I'm sharing. But the main reason I bought these today is because Babes Doughnuts is locally owned! We may not be able to support local business for much longer, because of what's happening in our country. So support one another by shopping local if you can. And YES their donuts are the BEST in town in my opinion. Bryan, Texas

I've been here twice now. Iced Autumn spice coffee is the way to go. My daughter wanted a pink doughnut. Unfortunately, they had sold all of them out. However, they went above and beyond for us. Drayson changed my glazed donut with pink icing and sprinkles on top. I did not expect this at all specially when they were closing in 20 minutes and so close to Thanksgiving. Needless to say, my daughters day was made. I will be returning again. Great service

Love this spot, The Apple Fritter was excellent, crispy and glazed to perfection! Maple Bacon hit the spot for a sweet and salty craving!

This place is a gem. We discovered it during the coronavirus crazy time and they did any awesome job with curbside! We've tried doughnuts, biscuits, cold brew, breakfast sandwiches and they all ROCK. I will say I've found nothing that is healthy, but I'm OK with the indulgence.

Second time visiting! I am new to BCS and a big lover of coffee and doughnuts! So glad I've found Babe's. Honey lavender iced latte is very good, not too sweet or overly floral. Just right and will order again. They were out of biscuits so I got the chicken and honey butter on a croissant. The combination is delightful, breading is crisp and flavorful on the tenders. Croissant is BUTTERY & flaky. Looking foreword to getting here earlier in order to try with the biscuit next time. Cake donuts are my fav and these are wonderful. Blueberry and old fashioned both have wonderful flavor and texture. Note: Summer hours differ from normal business hours! (See photos)

Yyyyeeeeessss!!! Babe's is good. Nice environment, really cute vibes, and their croissants and chicken biscuits are to die for. So cool

These donuts are beautiful and delicious!

An older woman wearing a purple polo was yelling from the kitchen at one of the servers. She was so harsh that the server ended up crying, which was heartbreaking and incredibly unprofessional to witness as a customer. The most disturbing part of our visit was when a roach crawled across our table while we were eating. A woman with short hair and glasses, who identified herself as a manager, came over, saw the roach herself, and offered me a discount on my shrimp and grits. She also told me they've been battling roaches because the business next door had them and that they've been placing traps behind all of the coolers. Hearing that while trying to eat completely ruined my appetite. To make matters worse, I watched cooks come out of the restroom still wearing their aprons, which is a major food safety concern. Every time the kitchen doors opened, I could see into the kitchen, and I never saw anyone wearing gloves while handling food. Between the employee being yelled at until she cried, the roach on our table, the manager discussing an ongoing roach problem, and the food safety concerns, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. I won't be returning.

Stopped in with a friend early on a Sunday, door was opened for us by one of the employees, and a big friendly welcome. Looked promising. Hostess wanted my friend's name and phone number, as if we needed to be put on a waiting list. Place wasn't even half full, and apparently she was going to make us wait, because the server that opened the door told her, "that's ok, I'll seat them", and he was the one to take us to our table. Not sure if he was a server, or a busser. No greeting after he greeted us, hostess didn't even look up from her papers when talking to us. Service was slower that other First Watch places, and the server had to be reminded about drinks ordered. Overall, watching other tables being served, the vibe was off from other locations - not a lot of smiling or movement with purpose - got the impression that most could've cared less if we were there or not. Don't expect my butt kissed, but at least would like to feel welcome. Pay at the table wasn't an option, and the server only got motivated when she dropped off a QR comment card, and basically fished for a good rating, as "we're having a competition, and my birthday's coming up". Weird. First time I've been solicited for compliments like that. When we left, 2-3 employees at the hostess station, ignored us again, no, "thanks", "come again", "have a nice day", don't even think they noticed us leaving. I was embarrassed to have recommended this as our breakfast stop, my friend agreed the food and coffee was good, but the whole experience put this in the "never again visit" category.
