We had a very enjoyable dinner here last night with several other Yelpers.They set out a beautiful buffet for our group and it was a little bit of everything on the menu. Absolutely delicious. The place is small and intimate with places to sit that include a pillow. Our table had a large brass plate inlaid in the table top, Very nice touch! We met the manager and he described how everything from the kitchen is from scratch, no cans! I was surprised to learn the humas takes two days to prepare. Also interesting to know that he also manages Souk at Trinity River. Another favorite of ours. We are looking forward to coming back soon and ordering from the menu. One of my favorite places. Me and my husband went to have dinner on a Monday night. The atmosphere was soothing - everyone seemed at Peace - and we went on the have an amazing meal. We went for dinner. Started with felafel and baba ghanoush. I think felafal was one of the best I have had. Then had couscous with veg and lamb Tagine. Great flavor and very tasty. Finished with ice cream, baclava and stuffed dates. Safron mango I team was the best. Why don't mainstream ice cream companies make this flavor? Baclava was outstanding too. Being born and raised in morocco I had to check this place out and let me just say, save your time and money DONT GO. First off the hookah not only wasn't washed properly (I know this because we got nauseous smoking the bit of smoke it gave us) barely any smoke was coming out and it was $45. There are so much better hookah lounges for half of that price. We ordered the baklava, which was extremely dry, the pistachios were stale, not a drop of honey, and overpriced. We also ordered tea that came in a Moroccan teapot (berrad as we call it) but that's about as Moroccan as it got. The tea was Lipton, no sugar, no mint, nothing Moroccan about it. We ordered the tajine and let me tell you, I did not finish it. No Moroccan spices, not cooked the Moroccan way. Honestly, this place is clearly not owned by Moroccans and It is very disrespectful to claim to be a Moroccan restaurant and none of it tastes or shows the true cuisine of morocco. Our Tab was $130 and it was just us two. Extremely disappointed. Save your money and time and just go to Plano/Richardson where the authentic hookah lounges and food really reside for half the price! read more

Food - The hummus appetizer was good. It had that smooth consistency you look for in homemade hummus compared to brands like Sabra. I most enjoyed the subtle seasoning and the good char they put on the pita breads that they served.. might have been the highlight for me. For an entree, I ordered the Apricot Lamb Tagine because it was the most recommended dish and the tradition of Moroccan cuisine. It was tasty but I was expecting a bit more from it. The sweetness of the apricot and saltiness of the lamb went well together. I just wish it had a stronger flavor and that the couscous were slightly bigger pearls. My wife is vegetarian so had falafel on top of babaganoush rather than hummus, and she wished she stuck with the hummus cause it was a funky combination. The falafel was good but nothing special. The hookah was ok. I'm used to stronger ones and flavors that last longer. This one turned weak or bitter in 15-20 minutes. Service - Our server was knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the menu. Our water glasses were always full, and the wait staff were attentive to take out our empty dishes. However, the restaurant was half empty and when we asked to sit at a comfy looking couch with tables, we were told we couldn't for some reason.. Ambiance - There was a live musician playing different songs like a Christmas song, a random classic jam, etc all on his guitar which actually made the vibe better. read more

I use to travel to this place form Arlington, TX once a week. Great food, good amount of options, very friendly staff. Mint tea is amazing, and they will provide multiple refills if asked. I come here at LEAST once a week and Randa serves me and always works to the best of her ability! There are a lot of tables in and out with only two servers on the floor! Absolutely love this place! Must try the fish dish. Had it two days in a row and the house red wine is an Italian 2003 for $35 a bottle. I ordered a Merlot but they were out, so the owner let me sample four similar wines and I picked one for our table, a delicious California red, and it complimented the food quite nicely.
